I have had several requests for Rhaegan to sing again so this morning while she was reading her books she started to sing so I grabbed the camera and started recording. Hope you like it.

Then & Now

Then... Now...

I didn't really have anything new to blog about today so i thought I would show you some "Then & Now" photos of Rhaegan. It's really amazing how fast kids grow up and how much they change in such a short period of time. I do get a little sad when I look back at how small and sweet Rhaegan use to be. Now she's a typical 2 year old girl. If I had one wish it would be to develop a better understanding of how to handle them. At least she's adorable. It makes it a lot easier to get through the bad days. Hope you enjoy the look back at our cute little Rhaegan!

Easter Morning!

Happy Easter, Everyone!

You'll have to excuse the pictures. I know they're not the best but Rhaegan had just woken up and was too excited to let me do her hair so as you can see it's a mess. We kept telling her that the Easter bunny was going to be coming on Sunday, so on Sunday morning she ran out to the living room and looked a little confused when there was no Easter bunny waiting for her. She had had her picture taken with the bunny earlier that week so she knew what to be looking for. She was a little disappointed but once she saw her basket she of course was fine. We hope you all had a great Easter.

She basically threw everything to the side in order to get to the good stuff (candy)!

Of course she got a book from the Easter Bunny which was her favorite part.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the annual Belle Monet/Ward Easter egg hunt. We had a really good turnout and even though it was a little chilly (40 degrees) everyone seemed to have a really great time. Rhaegan was so excited to find her eggs. She would pick one up and instead of just putting it into her basket she would try to open it to see what yummy treat was inside. She eventually got the hang of it and her basket slowly started filling up. By the end she was extremely cold (uncontrollably shivering) but happy and ready to eat all her findings. Shae was having so much fun watching Rhaegan discover the hidden eggs

Our little Mozart!

Rhaegan got her Easter dress a couple of weeks ago from her Grandma Jackie. I was so excited to have her wear it that I couldn't wait until Easter Sunday. When we were up in Idaho last weekend we had her wear it to church so that Reed and Jackie could see her in it. She looks so beautiful in it (I know, I'm her mother but still). We were also able to capture her on camera playing the piano and singing. I tried to upload the video so you all could see it but for some reason it wouldn't upload. I will try later but until then I have some cute pictures at least.

A wonderful surprise!!

It was an ordinary day. Rhaegan was napping and I was getting things down around the house (aka...watching Friends and working on my puzzle. Yes I'm a nerd). When I heard Rhaegan stirring I finished up a few things and then went it to get her. It was kind of dark in her room so when I walked over to her crib I could see something on her face and all over her sheets but I could not figure out what it was. Rhaegan looked at me and with the cutest look simply said, "Mommy, I picked my nose." She must have been digging for gold because she caused a major nose bleed. You can't really tell from this picture because Shae had already cleaned up most of the blood on her face and in her hair but there was blood everywhere. It's amazing the habits kids pick up from watching their dads. Just kidding, Shae!!
