Blogging for My Family and Me

I have read a lot of cute blogs lately and one blog in particular has inspired me.  This blog was filled with beautiful pictures and detailed descriptions of family members and family activities.  To say the least I was touched.  One thought repeatedly came to my mind; I need to blog for my family.  We have so much fun together and the girls are saying and doing the cutest things everyday.  They are growing so fast that I can't keep up and there is no possible way for me to remember everything unless I blog.  I am going to blog so we have a family record.  I am grateful that I was able to see a blog that inspired me to get busy.  My goal is to record the Taylor family happenings so we can laugh, smile, and possibly cry together as we remember the good times and the bad that we were so lucky to share as an eternal family.  Boy do I have a lot to catch up on!

Christmas Greetings

I am feeling guilty for not getting Christmas cards out this year. We will just say that it is my attempt to be more "green." I just saved paper, right?

I hope this e greeting finds you well and happy. Our family is looking forward to spending Christmas up north in Tremonton with Mark's family. Meira is VERY excited that Santa will be bringing her "chocolate candy." I think she got her mommy's liking for chocolate...and probably some of her aunt's Shauna & Lesli as well. Meira also hopes to build a snowman if their is snow. We will post pictures of the Christmas fun.

On a more spiritual note, I am so thankful for the love of my Savior and for His humble birth to bring peace and hope to our souls.

Luke 2:10-14
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

Merry CHRISTmas!!! That's what it is all about! Love you all.

Oct.- Luau in Montrose, CO

Meira, Reagan, Grandma Lily, Reuben, Molly, and I went to Montrose, CO for a luau that Derren and Shauna put on in honor of Derren's one year anniversary. We helped get everything ready to go and had fun too.

What is more fun than a bath? I know...cousins and a bath!

Jossy striking a pose with the pig cooking behind her.

Cinderella's getting ready for the luau.

Hey...what are you two up to? Oh, just giving Levi a bath as super girls. We really had to watch Jossy and Meira together because any time we turned our backs they were trying to do something with water. As you can see, Levi tagged along so they let him play a part in the fun too.
Levi gave Reagan a lei.

Of course my sister would have a camera, just like me. ;-)
Meira loved the fire dancer. Yes, we explained that we don't eat hot fires.

Meira danced along as she watched.
After party entertainment.

Baby lover.

Baby lovers...seriously, who doesn't love babies?
