Christmas 2012

This year was another successful Christmas Holiday! Zac & I were both lucky to have a couple days off together which is always a plus! :) We spent Christmas Eve at his parents house for their party, drove to my mom's for our traditional everyone sleep at mom's for Christmas, woke up to Santa's presents with all the little kids, stayed at mom's for a while, went to his parents around 1:30pm, opened presents from Barb & Dave, ate lunch, went to my dad's, spent some time there & then went home for a relaxing Christmas Day evening. The 24 hours from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day was packed full of family parties, visiting & enjoying company! I always LOVE christmas as it's my favorite holiday. I love the music, the company, the feelings, the wonderful cheer, ect that is all brought on by Christmas. So much happen that I decided I would show you in pictures how it all went :)! Zac's Birthday Cakes

I have always tried to make Zac a birthday cake for his Birthday. I have made one each year that we have been together & usually I'm pretty proud of myself. This year... ha ha ha it was a bit of a disaster but oh well, there is always next year! I will chop it up to pregnancy brain dead syndrome & lack of artistic ideas :). That sounds good to me!! My mom always made us a special birthday cake and she was great at it! Nothing professional but none the less it was always fun to see what new idea she came up with. I wanted to make sure I spread the tradition to my family which is why I started with Zac! Next Year I will be able to make 2 cakes. 1 for Zac and 1 for our little girl Ayla :) Bring on the barbie dress cakes :)!
