The joys of a two-year-old

So, Parker started taking his wet diaper off in the morning, somehow, and re-zipping up his footy jammies so I wouldn't know (he hides the diaper under his bed). We had a little talk about it, and I felt he understood that in the morning, he just needs to come find me and I will be happy to rid him of his yucky wet diaper. However, this morning, I walk into hi room, which reeks like urine. Parker is burrowed under the covers, and tells me to "just go away, mom". A little out of character, so upon further investigation, I realize not only is he soaked, but the entire bed, and of course, there's a dry, unused diaper under the bed!

Blogging frustration

So, when I finally do manage to find some time to spend updating my blog and attempting to get it up to par, it takes me like an hour do figure out how to do one little thing! Do people spend endless hours on this, or am I just totally inept?! After many fruitless hours, I feel like I still barely have an inkling of an idea of what I'm doing here!!

Our First Spring Baby!

So, this is a little belated as most of you have already heard or figured it out, since it's a little harder to hide with number four, but we are expecting a baby towards the end of April! So far, so good . . .

In June, we left the kids for ten days and flew to Oahu for what turned out to be the most amazing vacation in Paradise!

What can say, besides that Lydia is our princess . . .

Spring 2008

We were so excited when Derek was able to leave the hospital and come over for the first time since his accident, to share dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt . . .

Then we had our first and only nice spring day on Easter Sunday, in Spanish Fork

Winter 2008

2008, like every year, started out with an onslaught of birthdays . . .
