a whole lot-a lot-a!

Christmas is done with. Sad. But now I feel like I can get back into the groove of things.

I hate winter, i do. I hate being cold, and I hate having to bundle the girls up in millions of layers just to go outside and I HATE the snow! It has been snowing for 2 days straight now, and even though its pretty and fun to watch it's miserable going out in it but it's also miserable being stuck inside all day! SO! now that I have got that out of my system let's begin.

Early on in December the city had its annual light parade which is always fun for the kiddo's. We found the perfect spot where we were able to park our truck and sit in the bed to watch.
Daddy and Bentley

Nollie roamin' around
Before it got super duper cold outside we made a few last trips to the zoo and got our park playing in.

Dorky little smile on the train ride!

Playing peek-a-boo!

I finally let Nollie get down at the park and play in the sand. She LOVED it. Only once did you stick her face down and come up with a mouthful of dirt. The next time we go she'll probably be able to walk. Thank goodness!

I just thought this picture of Bentley was cute!

Next came Christmas. So i'm so retarded. I didn't take any pictures of the girls opening their presents! We got a video camera for Christmas so Brodee was recording it, but I still wish I would have got some still shots. Bummer. But I did get a picture of our Christmas tree and stockings Christmas Eve after Santa baby came.
Our Christmas tree is tiny. I got it for like 5 bucks the day after Christmas a few years ago. Haha. But until we have a bigger house it will do!

Ok so these are the cute little stockings I made last year for us and then this year I painted the names on them. I also have one more made for when we have another babe. I like a colorful sloppy christmas over a pretty uniform christmas. It reminds me of my childhood.

SNOW! BLAH! Like I said it's been snowing for 2 days now, and yesterday we stayed inside all day without even getting out of our PJ's so today I decided we would face the snow and head to walmart to get some much needed groceries. Besides that Bentley has been bugging me since the first sight of snow to get on her new gloves to go out and play so here are my babies all bundled up and ready to go.
Even though the bundling up is such a hassle they do end up looking darn cute when they are.

Snow babies!

Is it bad to eat snow? Because that is Bentley's favorite part about the snow I think.
Next on the agenda...New Years! My New Year Resolution...working out? Having more patience with my darlings? Both?

Tis the season...

to start thinking about what to get my little love bugs for Christmas! Any good ideas on what to get a 3 year old? (I know she's not 3 yet but she will be soon after Christmas!)

So this is like super cheap of me, possibly a little messed up but I secretly just want to give Nollie the big "Santa Claus" present that we gave Bentley her first Christmas because Nollie's never seen or played with it and it's in perfect condition...uhhhhhhh am I weird? I even ran the idea across Brodee and he didn't judge...I so thought he was going to. HAHA! And no worries, IF i do do that I will still give her lots of other new stuff.

Oh and is it bad that I'm already using the "you better be good or Santa won't bring you presents!" on Bentley? Because it totally works...like everytime...

And, might I add, I'm already getting excited thinking about Black Friday, there's just something about it that gets me in the Christmas spirit.

Happy Half Birthday!

My sweet Nollie turned 6 months old on the 26th! Oh how I LOVE and ADORE that girl! Her 6 month stats are: Weight:18 lbs 14 oz (95%) and Height: 27 1/2 (95%). She can totally wear Bentley's clothes...nice. Her tiny little hairs on her head are starting to grow in and they look dark! Well, not super dark but definitely darker than Bentley's. I'm kinda excited about that for some reason. Nollie also started crawling a few days ago and it is the cutest, most sloppy little crawl I've ever seen! She's ma girl!

Life on THE RIM.

I cracked up a little when a guy at church said to Brodee and me: "Welcome to The Rim."

ANYWHO! We are in Payson now! We've been here for almost 3 weeks and I can say that I absolutely LOVE it! I'm a little bit wondering why all small town folk don't live here? Maybe they're turned off by all the log cabin lookin' houses? Or the super steep driveways that your trailer hitch drags on when you're going up and down? (true story) Or the name of the highway: BEELINE HWY. I was at first :) BUT since being here I've found "normal" neighborhoods and alternative names for the hwy. PHEW!

The weather here is perfect. hot enough to go swimming if you want but cool enough to actually be outside doing something. I hear the winters aren't too bad either...(guess we'll have to wait and see on that for ourselves though!) We have been keeping busy playing at the parks and going to the library, two things that Bentley could never get sick of! Bentley has taken the move so well. I was seriously stressin' that she would miss her grandparents too much but she has taken it really well. Nollie's just going with the flow and is as jolly as ever!

We've only been to our new ward once but we think we like it a lot. Everyone is really nice and has made us feel welcomed. There are quite a few young mama's like myself so I'm purty happy 'bout that. Everyone in the ward seems TIIIIIGHT and I feel like it's because there's not an overload of Mormons here. I think that's a good thing :)

Brodee is liking his new job...well he thinks he will like his new job. He has only been on the floor once so far so we'll give him a few months to decide. I'm crossing my fingers that he continues to like it! I tried taking a picture of him in his scrubs on his first day and he wouldn't let me! He said only little kids do that on their first day of school. Psh ya right.

All in all we are really happy to be here and hope to be here for a really long time!

BFF's

A few of us "DQ girls" had kiddos around the same time and occasionally we like to get together and let them play. This was like the first time that they've been old enough to actually play together though and they had a darn good time. Everyday since then Bentley has brought up swimming with her friends. We definitely need to get together more often!

Trying to get use to the pool and new friend idea. This is her serious side I talked about last post.

The girls learning to be friends. haha.

Bentley trying to take her TRIKE away from Hayden, the poor little guy was outnumbered by girls!

I love Bent's face here, it's the look of "Whoa this is cold."

So cute, they totally started holding hands on their own.

All the kiddo's (and mama's) doin' their thang.

2 Month-a-roos

Lil miss Nollie dear had her 2 month check-up a week ago. the girl weighs 13 lbs 6 oz. and is 23 3/4 inches long. 97 percentile for height and weight both! She already weighs more than half of Bentley...yikes! Oh and might I add she has a throwing up problem, throws up (and I mean THROWS UP) at least once every other day. Yes, it's very stressful especially when it happens all over me right before it's time to go somewhere. BUT the doctor says it isn't a concern because she seems to be gaining fine. Could you imagine how much she would weigh if this throwing up didn't happen!? Anywho! She is so smiley all the time, total opposite of Bentley who was SO serious and didn't smile for nada. She's also getting her COOS and GOOS down. It was so cute, on saturday we were on our way home from Eden and the WHOLE drive home she was sitting in the backseat just cooing away. Ahh I loved it!

I love her half smile.

first off, sorry that Bentley is stretching her eye skin all about. so not attractive. Second, check out how Nollie is totally catching up in size.

Bentley LOVES her so much, she is the best big sister ever. If Nollie starts crying Bentley drops everything and runs to her rescue.

So cute! Like father, like daughter.

DONE. May 19, 2005

Today marks 5 years since I graduated from High Schoo'. Kinda weird! Seems like it hasn't been that long but then I look at everything that has happened since H.S. and wonder how it all fits into 5 years.

memories of those forgotten years-

Freshman Year: Thought I was a cool high schooler and an even cooler one in my plaid pants. Me and Kimberly Ann Marie Girl Clonts were connected at the HEEEP.

Sophomore Year: My friends and I got too cool for Safford (ha) and transferred to Thatcher. I thought I was SO PUNK. WAHAHAHA.

Junior Year: Worked at DQ. Went to girls dance with hottest college guy (so I thought at the time). Got my CNA...which is now expired.

Senior Year: Me and Tiffer Snapper would eat lunch at Bashas like everyday. Sobe and a muffin :). Gained some poundage that year (DQ...and probably that daily muffin) and lost my hair due to dying it and stripping it like 5 times in 1 night. That sucked.

Phew...glad those days are over.
