My wiggle worm has turned into a turner. This is the beginning of the end, he only gets more mobile from here. Watch these mad new skills develop. Yes, today was the first time he did this:

Thunder Thighs

So, it's been 11 days since I posted last. That is a long time. I bet some of you are wondering what happened to me. Well, remember when I used to go months between postings? 11 days doesn't seem so bad now, does it? Well, I was just made Primary chorister, so that has been taking up some of my free time. It's fun, but slightly overwhelming. And of course, there are always projects, and shopping, and dishes, and laundry, and cleaning to do as well. And G, who takes up a lot of time. Which of course brings us to the favorite part of the week, but it's two-for-one day at Tara Paper since I didn't get to post anything last week.

I've heard it said that babies don't grow kneecaps until after they're first year of life. I don't know if that's true because it's hard to tell under all that fat. G has such cute little round fat rolls on top of his knees that I absolutely love. And right above them are his little thunder thighs. To fully understand the ginormity, let's do a little scale comparison. My hand is the length of G's torso. It goes from neck to belly button. My hands do not fit around G's thighs. My husband, who has much larger hands than mine (mine are really very small for someone my height), can't get his hand all the way around G's thighs either. Which does explain the giant wrinkle in the middle of said thighs. Which is, of course, just the way baby's thighs should be. If only the same could be explained to teenage girls . . . but that's another post . . .
