And the verdict is...

I loved Twilight! I thought that they did a really good job taking things in order from the book. I know that things can't be exactly the same otherwise it would be forever long. And no movies are ever as good as the book. Look at the first Harry Potter, they only got better with time. But I was really happy with what they did. I thought that since this was 'a low budget' film they did a really great job and that the rest of the saga will only be better. I laughed, sighed, wanted to cry, and screamed so for me that is a great movie. I want to go see it again, since we were on the 2nd row in the front, so some of the shots looked wierd. I want to see it in a normal way. I thought that all the vampires were perfect, yes including Edward! I really liked him and there are times in the movie when I felt like I was reading the book, my heart would beat faster and I couldn't wait to see more of him. And Bella does a lot better job than I thought she would. When I see her in interviews or something, she is so boring and bland, but she did a really good job.!
So yes, I loved it! Can't wait to see it again, and can't wait till the others come out!

Like a kid in a candy store!

So I am changing my mind again...
I decided to use only first names instead of our last name. I have been humming and hooing over it for the last few days, then Julie left me a comment saying that they used only first names. That sounds better and maybe a little safer. I will be changing my blog address also. So watch out for it! (with a comment)
Thanks for being patient with me and all my indecisiveness.

2 weeks left....almost

Twilight the Movie!
So I am aware that I am a teeny bopper. But I love these books and am so excited for the movie!

Here is a link to a website that you can find out whick female/male character you are most like, it's fun. There is a way to link the whole thing to this page and show you pictures....but I couldn't figure it out sorry. http://twilightersanonymous.com/quiz-result/quiz-results-you-re-an-esme.html

I am most like Esme! Which shocked me. I guess motherhood can change a girl a little. I consider myself a mix between Esme and Alice...outgoing, likes to have fun, but wants the best for her family. Maybe we can call her Alime?

To go private or not to...

That is the question! As for us we are not.
There are many private blogs which are wonderful. But I know from past experience, when you are invited to a private blog you need to have a google account to view it. I did not have one until I started blogging, so I lost multiple blogs because I could only view them as a guest for a short time. There are many in our circle of family and friends that do not have google accounts so I am compelled to not go private for their sake. But you will notice that we are not using first names anymore on our blog. We ask that you do the same. We understand slip-ups might happen and don't worry we won't rip you head off or anything, we just ask that ya try, the same as us. When you leave a comment, please refrain from using first names (mostly the kids). Refer to us as you, your husband, your wife, your kids/boys, your family, big brother and lil' brother for now. It might change who knows, it might be too hard for me not to use names?
Maybe in the future when the family and friends have surrendered to the life of google accounts then private might be an option. But for now, this is how it is and how wonderful it has been to find many friends whom we have not had any contact with since graduation.. many moons ago. And if any friends know of any other friends send them this way!
Thank you for your corporation with us.

We love you!

Oh what a weekend!

Not only was it Halloween with a lot of candy, costumes and trick or treating, but I gave my sister her Christmas present. I told her that I would come up there and help her take down her wallpaper in her hallway and kitchen. It has been a job that has needed to be done and now it is. All that is left to do is putty and paint...and put up an end to the wall that her husband took 6 inches off, but that is saved for another rainy day. Her Kitchen looks tons bigger and brighter now. So happy!

Little cowardly lion! He has been afraid of this costume for the past month. I was surprised that he wore it the whole night.

This was his favorite! He thought that he was hot stuff as a tiger. We wanted to wear signs...his would of said "Bear" and mine would have said "Oh My" Get it... Lion. Tiger, Bear, Oh My! But we only had the lion and tiger.

my nephew is the brain...it is hard to see, but it was pretty cool. This is my neice, my sisters neighbor did her hair...it was awesome. (still hard to see sorry) Here we are hard at work taking down the wallpaper...this is my sister.

Nothing like child labor laws! They had soo much fun taking off the glue part...it was easy.
Ummm, who is this and who would take that sort of picture? Not me! (hehe)So all in all it was a very productive weekend!
