YES, 3 is Chaos!!!

I have been MIA, I know!!!! When I had Carson tons so people kept saying "I hear 3 kids is the kicker and it all goes to chaos at 3, is that true?" I kept responding that since there's such an age gap between the first two that I probably couldn't be put in the same category and it probably wasn't as hard. However, as Carson has gotten older I'm totally getting done in!!! I went back to work and while it seemed manageable at first, it quickly caught up with me. . .my house (mostly my bedroom) has gone to hell in a handbasket (is that how the phrase goes?). Anyway - YES to all those people who have asked. . .3 is chaos!!! I'm starting to think that the age gap actually makes it harder, yes Aidan is a good help with the kids, however he is so much more grown up and has his own toys and activities that causes it's own set of chaos. Trying to bridge the family activities between older kid and younger kids is proving quite the challenge!

Then as if life wasn't chaotic enough Delvin went an got himself a night job (in addition to his day job) and I picked up an extra day of work. . .thus the ongoing excuses of not updating the blog! Sad, really - we've had some great things happening these last several months. I'm not sure I can fill in, but I will at least make a good attempt to post Birthdays and Christmas here soon! Then I will press forward and do what I can to not be so delinquent in my postings in the future!

3 is Chaos, so for all my friends out there who have 4, 5 or more kids - bless your souls! I can't even imagine the level of chaos you're going through!

Paintball Boys!!

Aidan had a paintball party!! What a BLAST!!!

This was the first time Aidan wanted a big party, usually he has 2-3 friends, but this year he was ready to celebrate the big 1-0 with a big party!!!!
We have some excellent friends who let us party at their property and use their paintball guns and gear!!! The boys got to shoot at balloon targets and hunt down Delvin. They had a great time!

Aidan has some really great friends!!! I was happy that he had so many come and enjoy a great day with us!!!

I can't believe it!!!!! Aidan is 10 years old!!! It's amazing how fast time flies!!!! Here's his actual birthday. . .looked everywhere for the candles and couldn't find them, but he was perfectly happy with tea lights - lol!!!!

More Stitches for Mason!!!

Not entirely sure how it happened, but Mason managed to need stitches AGAIN!!! 7 this time - we saw right to the bone on this one! He was so calm, walked in with blood pouring down his foot and says "bleeding". Not a tear out of him, he was so calm through the whole thing and was so curious when they were all done. He wanted to play with them!!! the nurses and doctor couldn't believe how calm he was. He's such a brut!!!

REBECCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My neice, Rebecca, came for a visit from Texas for a week in August. She just graduated from High School and starting college a few days after she returned. We had lots of adventures with her while she was here. The kids had good "Cousin Time"!! She's such a beautiful and fun-loving girl!!! Was such a blast!!!!

Camp Grandma

In July my mom hosted "Camp Grandma" for Aidan and his cousin, Orion. They said with her for a week and did lots of work around her house and went and did lots of fun things together! Aidan says he can't wait for Camp Grandma next year!!!!
