France Out!!!
HHAHAHA.. first thing this morning i went to check the scoreline of the France vs Greece game.. again Charisteas scored and Greece won narrowly.. 1 - 0... hahah! France is out!!! in the afternoon went to attend a church wedding ceremony.. hahz.. nothing unusual.. juz that the newly weds name were benjamin and lydia... -___-.. tt my sis and my name... !!!!!!!! .. argh.. after tt.. had quite fun at dinner time.. =X Gladys and Cheryl came over.. as our parents go attend the wedding dinner.. 4 of us, including my sis... played some thrash percussion hahhaz... then later did a little revision.. now some time to use com..
England vs Portugal
i will be writing only on this morning's match that took place 12 hrs ago.... haiz.. things already started to go bad before the game took place... i set 2 alarm clocks.. both failed to wake me up.. is not my fault.. 1 din ring.. confirm k.. is still on.. and my phone rang at 3.45?? luckily i had a back up plan. i tot so.. the tape i put in the VCR for recording the match had jumped out of the VCR.. tt means no tape to record the match..
so to my horror.. i started watching the match at the 52nd min.. with England already leading 1 - 0 .. thru Michael Owen in the 3rd minute.. din see Rooney playing.. wondered wat happened to him then Erikkson started to take out Scholes and Gerrard.. tt was bad.. perhaps to rest them for nxt match.. Postiga, who scored only 1 goal in EPL last season.. scored the equaliser in the 83rd minute.. in the 89th min.. Campbell's goal was disallowed.. argh..
den the match went into extra time(ET).. Silver Goal.. first half of ET still no goals.. den later Rui Costa scored in the 108th min.. tot England sure knocked out.. but Lampard gave England a lifeline.. so the match went to penalties.. Our dear England captain had to miss it again.. with Terry & Cole doing better.. Ronaldo, the replacement of Beckham in Man Utd.. also converted his.. Vassell, who din seem confident.. had his penalty saved by Ricardo.. and Ricardo juz had to score to help Portugal to go thru.. and he did.. so England lost out on penalties.. and Rooney cannot contend for the Golden Boot.. with Van Nistelrooy already scoring the same no..

Of course they made it to the quarter finals after finishing 2nd in Group B after winning Croatia 4 - 2.. with goals from Rooney (2) Scholes and Lampard.. Scholes scored his first goal for England in 3 years.. not bad.. Shan't say anymore.. later ppl ask me to be football commentator..
yea.. so i woke up at 8 this morning after watching soccer match from 2.45 to 4.30... left house at 8.35 to do CIP at mayflower.. this time teaching them physics.. i did frm 9 to 11. then had lunch with 3 of the students at long john silvers hhaz. then i went to meet Alan and Hweiyun at the AMK library to study.. then Han Ming came to find us.. i left at 4.. to go SJI.. for alumni.. as usual.. played soccer first.. hahz.. played for 1.5 hrs.. so tiring.. then the prac a bit screwed up.. suddenly the instrument i always use spoil.. cannot play..(?).. ya lor.. so had dinner at 10.. then chat and wrote a few testimonials till now.. then come here.. tink i go sleep liao. and noot watching soccer today.. so sad.. but too tired la

04s1 outing
Haha.. we had our second class outing during the june holidays.. this time hav more ppl..11 to be exact...Smchan, Cherry, Jin Zhou, ET, Geraldine, Wannok, Weizhen, Daphne, Huiying, Rachel and Me..... We had lunch at Yoshinoya and then took neo prints twice.. hahz.. So can permutate.. We spent quite a long time taking neoprint... deciding who take with who... maybe around 2hrs... hahz.. Left around 6..
So sad that Holland lost to Czech.. after leading 2 - 0... in the end losing 2 - 3... Euro Day 6
haa.. England won.. yeah man! they thrashed swiss 3 - 0 thx to 2 goals from Wayne Rooney.. the youngest ever player to score in an euro championship.. even Owen got taken off b4 him.. aww... my prediction wasn't correct abt owen scoring.. but he created the first goal for rooney with a simple chip for rooney to head in.. Also his 2nd was a good shot juz tt the ball hit the post then the head of the GK for the 2nd goal.. hah.. reminded me of the penalty i conceded last yr.. After pushing the ball to the post.. the ball came back towards me and hit my head.. Could hav done a bicycle kick or smth.. wasted.. that was the semi finals of sec 4 interclass soccer.. haz. i was Gk.. Gerrard then killed off the game.. with a simple tap in from close range..
I din watch the France vs Croatia match as i wanted to wake up quite early the next day.. it ended 2 - 2.. a good result for England.. and also a form of warning to England wat to expect from Croatia next week..
As I said.. i had to wake up early... around 9... to go Jurong library at 12.. i reached there at 11.55 and the place had already many ppl waiting at the door.. Once it opened, everybody rushed in.. not me.. i had leg cramps.. -___- but still managed to find a sit hahaz.. was there till 9pm with ash doin hw with a few breaks in between for lunch and dinner.. and i completed 3 GP essays.. achievement.. hahz
So now.. Denmark vs Bulgaria juz ended.. 2 - 0 .. first goal came from Tomasson at the stroke of half time.. after Bulgaria missed a glorious opportunity after a clever move to put them ahead.. Gronkjaer played a clever one - two with Tomasson and finished off the move.. both goals scored in injury time.. If only there were no injury time... this game would hav ended 0 - 0 and England - France game 1 - 0.. haiz.. nvm.. Sweden vs Italy coming up.. should be interesting.. a few EPL players in the Swede side..

Oh.. such a tiring day.. long time nv say this.. hahz.. Slept at 4 again this morning.. after watching the 2 soccer matches.. back to Group A again!! The spain vs greece game was ok.. finishing
1 - 1.. a good result for both sides.. Greece did well with their determination and equalised thru Charisteas.. (spell correctly?) after Spain lead thru Morientes after Raul backheeled to him.. Spain attacked at the dying minutes but Greece played defensive.. and ended in a draw
The match between Portugal vs Russia had an expected result.. Portugal won the match easily but Russia still had some attacks.. Their GK was unfairly sent off for using his hands outside the penalty area.. I felt that it was unintentionally.. and perharps given a yellow card instead.. It was quite harsh for the Russians.. Machinas (spell correctly?) scored the first goal after Deco flash a shot/pass across the penalty area.. Perhaps he intended to shoot.. but who cares.. it's still a goal.. Again, i fell asleep in the 2nd half and missed Rui Costa's goal.. hah.. scored when he substitute and din when he started the match... strange?
Woke up at 11 plus and left for sch at 1.. study and then go for PE at 3.. haiz.. we had to run under the blazing sun and it was 14 rounds..! 10 rounds + 2 warm up + 2 cool downs.. in between 30 sit ups and 20 dips.. so tiring.. i left for SJI almost immediately.. and took only 20 mins.. so lucky.. played soccer till 6 plus or 7? dunno.. had no watch.. and dun care.. got cramps all over my body including the calf.. which was the worst!
I became so lame.. had to limp around.. *(Shit! juz developed a thigh cramp while typing .. ouch!!!!!) Then had alumni prac.. no conductor today.. so Julian, the ex - student conductor, took over.. played the pieces we performing.. So after i went home.. and now getting ready to watch soccer... Euro 2004 Day 4
oH.. look at the time.. juz woke up again.. hahz.. watched at the 2 matches that took place early this morning but slept halfway durign the Germany vs Holland game.. haiz..
The Czech vs Latvia game was quite interesting but i expected Czech to get an easy win with players such as Rosicky, Poborsky, Nedved, Berger, Smicer, Baros and Koller in their side.. and Latvian having only Stepanovs and Pahars, who came in as a late substitute.. Surprisingly, Latvia took the lead in the injury time of the first half, some player (?) slotting the square ball from the No.11.. oops.. Then Baros got the equaliser in the 73rd minute after the Latvian GK punched Poborsky's cross towards.. and Baros took the rebound.. After that.. it was Baros turn to set up as he challenged for the ball with the GK from a long pass.. the defence failed to clear and Heinz smashed it in.. A sigh of relief for the Czechs.. with only Nedved and Poborsky looking more dangerous on the wings.. and a good performance by Latvia, leading for most of the match...

There were the likes of Stam, Davids, van Nistelrooy, van der Meyde.. and players from Barcelona such as Cocu, Reiziger and Kluivert, all from the Dutch side.. Germany had players such as Kahn, who can win a game single - HANDedly; being a GK, Ballack and Hammann.. Germany took the lead with a free kick from Frings who intended to cross it for a player to meet but it ended up in the back of the net.. luckily there was Ruud van Nistelrooy with a superb tap to help Holland equalise.. but i missed that goal as i was already asleep..wasted.. So the match ended that way.. i dunno any other details.. hahz.. Group D - Death.. with the likes of Czech, Germany and Holland.. who will qualify? Time will tell....

Trip To Malaysia
Wow.. woke up at 9 plus this morning.. after watching, not really watching, the Denmark vs Italy game.. The match has many AC Milan players.. such as Inzaghi, Guttuso, Nesta from Italy and Tommasson, Laursen, Helveg from Denmark.. So is like internal conflict hahz.. but i fell asleep halfway hahz.. luckily it ended 0 - 0.. so i din miss anything.. but it was not boring.. juz tt both GK were good.. Thomas Sorensen and G. Buffon.. but wat i missed was the Sweden vs Bulgaria game.. it ended 5 - 0... wasted.. nv watch.. think it was rather one sided affair..
So left house around 10 plus.. headed for Malaysia.. and at the causeway.. the immigrant officer had to take a second look at me.. bcoz the picture in the passport doesn't look like me.. hahz.. Went there to find my church frens who are having the church cammp, so went to the youth room.. with a few delays.. due to finding carparks and finding the holding room.. ya.. and did a more accurate personality test hahz.. i am a C person.. Cautious, Competent, Careful.. all the good points that start with 'C' really.. hahz.. Then after that had buffet lunch.. with only 5 dishes to select from.. buffet? hahz.. nvm.. then after that went back to the hotel room.. play cards.. Soon after, i left at 4.. tt means spending less than 5 hrs in hotel.. and reached home at 5 hahz.. din noe malaysia tt near.. no jams at the customs..

Special Edition : England vs France
Juz woke up at this time after watching the France vs England Euro match which ended at around 5... It was an exciting game juz that this was not the result i wanted.. 2 - 1 to France... The result did not reflect how well England defended.. especially having the inexperienced Ledley King in the side.. It was a good header from Frank Lampard to beat Fabien Barhez from a David Beckham free kick.. in the 38th minute.. England went into the 2nd half leading 1 - 0..
In the 2nd half, Rooney was brought down by Silvestre and Beckham was given the chance to seal the game.. to make it 2 - 0.. Silve Instead his former colleague, Fabien Barthez dived to the correct side, and saved his ever curling penalty.. and France continued to mount the pressure.. Silvestre is the 2nd player of Man Utd to give away penalty.. after Ronaldo did in the opening game if the tournament.
Erikkson took of Scholes, Rooney and Owen, and brought on Hargreaves, Heskey and Vassell to replace them respectively.. perhaps to rest the formers for the next game... in the 90th minute I thought the game would be won by England.. but the match officials had added another 3 minutes for injury time.. who knows France would score 2 in the injury time to win the match.. reminds me of the champions league final in 1999 between Man Utd and Bayern.. yea.. Heskey gave away a free kick at the edge of the penalty area barging the opposition down.. and up came Zidane to take the free kick.. He curled the ball supremely to the far right of the goalkeeper to score the equaliser.. Later Gerrard, attempted a back pass to David James and was intercepted by Thierry Henry who was left 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper.. He pushed the ball forward and was tripped by James.. and the referee awarded the penalty.. Now another Manchester player gave away a penalty.. this time from Man City... again Zidane took it and shot it to the bottom left post with James diving the wrong way.. The match ended almost immediately after France celebrations..
This result is not fair as France were only given these 2 chances and both were converted.. England worked hard for 90 minutes and prevented France from having chances to shoot with James need not have to make fantastic saves.. Penalty was the only difference in this game.. Beckham missing and Zidance scoring.. Aww.. England gonna have a hard time in this tournament..

Erikkson took of Scholes, Rooney and Owen, and brought on Hargreaves, Heskey and Vassell to replace them respectively.. perhaps to rest the formers for the next game... in the 90th minute I thought the game would be won by England.. but the match officials had added another 3 minutes for injury time.. who knows France would score 2 in the injury time to win the match.. reminds me of the champions league final in 1999 between Man Utd and Bayern.. yea.. Heskey gave away a free kick at the edge of the penalty area barging the opposition down.. and up came Zidane to take the free kick.. He curled the ball supremely to the far right of the goalkeeper to score the equaliser.. Later Gerrard, attempted a back pass to David James and was intercepted by Thierry Henry who was left 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper.. He pushed the ball forward and was tripped by James.. and the referee awarded the penalty.. Now another Manchester player gave away a penalty.. this time from Man City... again Zidane took it and shot it to the bottom left post with James diving the wrong way.. The match ended almost immediately after France celebrations..
This result is not fair as France were only given these 2 chances and both were converted.. England worked hard for 90 minutes and prevented France from having chances to shoot with James need not have to make fantastic saves.. Penalty was the only difference in this game.. Beckham missing and Zidance scoring.. Aww.. England gonna have a hard time in this tournament..
Yeah... look at the time now man.. juz finished watching the Switzerland vs Croatia match.. so boring.. no goals.. and almost recognisable players.. except for Prso.. the guy who scored 4 goals in a champions league match for Monaco 8 - 3 win against Deportivo.. hahz.
Went for church this morning as usual.. At the end of it.. Looked at ppl leaving for church camp.. while i'm stuck in S'pore.. preparing for Exams after the holidays..
After tt went to YK's house to study.. which lasted for a few hours.. then had dinner at Yio Chu Kang Rd near Serangoon.. and ate quite a delicious meal except for crab.. which may be the cause of the stomach ache i am having now.. maybe i'm juz allergic to sea food.. hahz
Now waiting for the France vs England match to start.. 2.45.. nothing to do.. blog lor.. That match.. i noe almost everybody in their teams.. with most of the players based in the EPL.. such as Henry, Vieira, Pires, Silvestre, Makelele from the French Team and everyone in the England team except for David Beckham.. who plays for Real Madrid and Owen Hargreaves.. from Bayern Munich (extras??).. haha.. who cares.. as long as they play well.. yupz.. so wait for the good news.. Euro 2004 Day 1
Wow.. i woke up late this morning... supposed to meet at 10 to go study with seek fong and vanessa.. instead woke up at 10.. hahz.. well.. there after we went to amk central for lunch and had aj ice for dessert.. not bad.. $4.50 including durian topings hah!.. then we went to library.. where Katie went to meet us and had our PW meeting.. till 6.30.. wow.. went for dinner.. then went home to sleep to hav enough rest for the BIG MATCH... yes.. juz finished watching the opening game of EURO 2004.. Portugal vs Greece.. the former losing 2-1.. how? defence mistakes.. too bad C. Ronaldo's header goal was too late.. 93rd minute.. hahz.. but congrats to the MAN UTD player.. :P so late liao.. need to go church "later"...
SJIMB vs AMB
Juz realised.. is no use saying is "yet another tiring day"... But today is the most tiring day of this week... woke up at 7 plus... to go meet at Toa Payoh Station 9 for the SJIMB vs AMB match... haha.. played at St. Wilfred.. (scary).. the place i lost my hp and wallet.. the last time i played there in december... so this time.. we kept all our wallets in the lockers.. 40c.. better than losing duno how much.. hah..
We managed to lead 2 - 0 against a strong team.. with me and syafiq scoring.. a lob and a solo effort respectively... half time.. still leading 2 - 1.. we became lethargic in the 2nd half.. with 10 men playing against their 11 men.. so in the end, we lost 4 - 2.. hah.. not bad.. with some sec 2s making their "debuts"..
We, representatives of SJIMB, went to Toa Payoh interchange to eat... After that, we went our own ways, with Jeremy, Yuying (Y²) and Vig...the alumni members of the team following me home.. Vig played com, Jam studied, Y² slept.. hahaz.. They left around 6.30 with Vig 2 hrs earlier.. Then i left for my youth group meeting which starts at 8
We played a game where each person has a piece of paper tagged on him and people will go round wrinting good characters of that person.. I got some such as cool, motivated, calm and collected, flexible (?), handsome (?), and sporty (yay!) hahha..
Reached home i went to clear my table.. like finding some treasures at the bottom of the pile of books man.. haha.. better go sleep liao.. so tired..

Alumni Prac 2
Today.. not a long day.. juz a half day.. but just as tiring.. woke up quite late.. around 11.. even my sis piano lesson ended by then.. i din even hear a sound... left for Pe remedial again around 2.30. At least today's pe more fun.. although ran 7 rds plus 2 warm up rds. Still got play soccer after tt.. Think my team won 6 - 4. din bother to count.. only noe tt i scored 4 hahaz :D... after that went for alumni band prac.. played more new pieces.. not many ppl came.. dunno y.. (?) ya.. so juz reached home 1 hr ago.. packed my things for tmr BIG MATCH and then came online.. HERE I AM!!!!!!
Project Day
Yet another long day... haha.. went to meet katie, seekie, vanessa for project work in the morning.. met at 10.. did work till 3.. halfway the 3 of them had a 45 min break.. i din.[;(]. had to look after things and chop the seats.. so boring.. haha..
yarz.. then in the evening go church to audtion for singing for July 4th church service.. think i got in.. not really sure hha.. but already rehearsing.. wat's dat implying (?).. great.. go back home.. did project again.. doing the MINUTES.. hah... so today was like 3/4 project.. starting and ending the day with project.. haiz.. looking forward to tmr band prac yay!

haha.. think i was out the whole day.. went to SJI to collect my O levels cert.. then go bugis for dim sum for lunch.. then went for PE remedial (?) in the afternoon in that hot blazing sun.. haiz.. gained 600g frm last thurs.. dim sum maybe? hahz then after tt went back to SJI(yeah!) again for SJIMB(yeah²!) alumni band prac.. played soccer with the rest.. missed the good all days.. then played songs like.. ??.. jap songs? how to type.. haha.. so here i am now at home after a tiring day.. haiz.. but ENJOYABLE!!

Wow.. today outing lasted around 9 hrs man.. including travelling time.. even though it was only 4 ppl tt went, namely me, ash , smchan and CZC hah.. we watched <>... haha.. really nice show.. reflects wat could happen in the future.. during the movie.. Me and ZC were passing around this huge bucket of popcorns.. ha. till we had to use the nachos packet to separate it.. hah. then go take neoprint.. so funny.. ya lorz.. tired liaoz.. go sleep..
