Cute Chirstmas Idea

Hide Baby Jesus – Many Happy Homes like to hide Baby Jesus until Christmas morning when they bring him out, sing Happy Birthday to him, and set him in his place of honor in the Nativity set. Just don’t forget where you hid Him at the beginning of the month!

Another family I know uses Baby Jesus as a way to help their kids stay in bed on Christmas morning until a reasonable hour. The deal is – the kids are not allowed out of their bedrooms until they see the Baby Jesus in the hallway outside their doors. When they see Baby Jesus (placed by Mom or Dad when they are ready for the fun to begin), that is the signal for the kids to come out. Can’t you just see your kids crowded at their bedroom doors, peeking every few seconds to see if Jesus has come yet??? And when they discover Him, a shout of, “He is HERE! Jesus is Here!

The boys were bored so I went to my craft box and came up with these fun crafts for Thanksgiving.

I did a craft

I made this Tutu...It turned out sooo cute. I love it. Our ward is doing the RS on cheap and easy gifts. So I am doing a demonstration on how to make a tutu.(hence I had to learn...he he)

I made these cute Bats to hang outside for Halloween! Love them also! (in Family Fun Magazine)
Bows I made..I made 2 of each for her pink tales.

Daxton's 5!!!

Daxton finally had his "Friends" Birthday Party. He waited 2 week after his birthday so Daddy could be there and then it was confrence weekend and all his friends were gone, so he waited 3 weeks after his real Birthday party. Patient little guy.

He had a Batman party!

First we play Batman, Batman, Joker!(duck, duck, goose) then we played with Mr. Freezes bubble( dish soap, glycerin, and water in a baby pool with a hula hoop), then did the Mr. Freeze dance( played music and they had to freeze when I turned off the music) and then did a pinata and cake and ice cream. It was a tornado at my house for about 2 hours!!! So fun though.
