LIMBO ... available for PC and only 70mb =)

Best puzzle platform game I've played so far.... liked it a little more than World of Goo due it's dark artistic nature and smart puzzle design. I admit that I had to look up the walk through somewhere at Chapter 14 but I swear that's the only one!! Next up.... Portal 2 ;p

Black Swan (2010)

Expecting another typical movie where an athlete/performer first struggles at the beginning of the movie, goes through hardship in the middle and gives the his/her best life performance at the end of it... I wasn't too thrilled about it base on my initial impression and categorised it immediately as a "Tuesday night" rather than a "Friday night" movie.

But I was wrong, to date after watching hundreds of movies to compensate for my video game addiction for the past half a decade, Black Swan 2010 was one of the movies that completely took me by surprise where I've obtained a new found respect for Natalie Portman as an actress .The fact that she won the Best Actress category in the Oscar last year under this movie is no surprise. Nonetheless I would not say that it's the best movie I've watched this year, but it definitely has one of the most engaging movie script writing with a finale that I would summarize as... beautiful.

Online customers.. from a sellers point of view...

are at times the nastiest people around... I'm not sure why they are like that but I guess it's because they can hide behind their computers and do not have to face you in reality when making their negative remarks...

Time and time again we hear stories of online sellers scamming buyers off their money especially on forums and auction sites like eBay. Thanks to them, online buyers are treating every online seller like vulchers trying to rip their money off.

I'm just sick of customers who threatens me on their very first messages to me as a seller without giving me a chance to address the issue.

"No time to waste for sending it back ...I propose you pay me back 7 GBP and i keep it for joke.
No problem if you don't want but, as a serious ebayer, i will have to leave a negative feedback."

This was his FIRST message about an adapter that could not fit his studio lights. I haven't even told him that I've been selling that adapter for months without problems.... Either way, I have fully refunded him his money that I would done anyway without his rude remarks.

And these are just the light weight ones... wait till you see the ones that threatens to contact Paypal and eBay authorities to get they money back just because their item got damaged by the delivery services!!! on their FIRST messages to me as a seller... did not even give me a chance to offer a replacement unit... or better yet, did not even contact me before leaving a negative feedback on the internet... which unlike for huge retailers..is a huge impact on a small sellers reputation like myself...

Now I can imagine why would high volume sellers give up on providing 110% excellent customer service as these type of customers are plain exhausting to attend to.

Being a threatening customer might work against fake goods sellers or second-hand mobile phone sellers who claim that the phone is in immaculate condition when it is not... but please do note that some of us are genuinely just trying to provide a good service to the people for an affordable price without ripping you off...

I'm just burned out of taking the blame every time when the manufacturer or delivery services screws up your goods without a single cent of compensation... on top of excessive threatening remarks from customers... so glad that I'm leaving this "passion" of mine after 2 years (going on 3rd) of running it...time to call it quits and restart a new hobby =)

Just one of those rare day....

Despite the market crashing and my investments shrinking , I felt that today was just a perfect sunny(emotionally) day

1. Everything I did worked. (software)
2. People noticed my work in office today.
3. Did my work at my own pace..as usual..
4. Half "puasa"ed with my colleague. Felt good not spending on lunch.
5. Side business was doing ok. No major problems which comes with no sales but that's ok.
6. Learned new stuff.
7. No social pressure as I didn't have to face/talk to anyone I didn't like.

Everything around me was quiet, peaceful.... and just plain calm...No shouting, no conflicts . Woke up , breakfast was ready. Came home, dinner was served. Dog and family at home. I really have nothing to complain about today, besides not meeting a pretty girl in the bus/train , but that's all right... =)

Such a Nerd..

Was so bored today , I've basically completely Army of Darkness .. replayed and continued on later on infinite horde mode till the iPad's dual core A5 1.3Ghz lagged out... Laziest sunday ever in 2011...

But taking a break and just playing games the entire day ( 9am to 5pm ) like old times has it's benefits.

Feeling 'refreshed' in a way after a weekend of boredom , I feel like it's time to get busy again ;p

Random stupid thought

If for every loser there must be a winner, where no. of winnings = no. of losses in the world, why does losing seem more frequent and way easier to achieve than winning if there's a 50-50 chance of either one happening?
