a new Year is always the start of a new beginning. And for me it was quite a start for me... after the holiday in indo i came back and 2 weeks later i went for an impulse trip to Macau and HK. Pretty tiring, but i guess it was a nice time away. We were pretty hush2 about the whole trip too, especially with the fact that we missed our morning flight to Macau that day. But it was one memorable trip because of that. It was great time away from the office especially since I've taken a territory which is supposedly to be difficult and supposed to be pretty busy with their bookings. The trip away did me some good!

It was also a first trip for me with Liz and her cousin, and the newly-wed sister. But it was a fun experience. As to the knowledge to those who have travelled with me, I have a unintended fondness of walking, to the point that in the end we could walk through the whole town on foot!!! and yes, it happened in Macau. Poor thing, cos I forgot that it was the start of the trip and it sort of like once we start walking, it was a road where we are going against the traffic and it was a highway (by the bay). That night, we couldnt feel our feet and boy it was like a permanent injury to the trip! and we still have HK to conquer over the next few days. But oh well, it was fun and a memorable folly! We kept harping on and on abt walking in Macau and the after effects.

I love the weather there with all the cold breeze even in mid-day! It was winter and it reminded me of London! It was such a nice feeling to be walking around.

After the trip, the fun continued with the rest of them staying on in Singapore. It was like an extended holiday with them around. Had fun hanging out, going for dinner, food-hunting and even playing with little Chloe (Colbert's baby). It was a bliss to have those kind of company.

And in about 2 weeks time from now, it's time to spend a week at home celebrating Chinese New Year! it's something that i look fwd to, with all the gatherings and the fact that it's public holiday for them over there. There has been some plans to take another family picture as well as a trip to Madura since I've not been there before.

Tell me, dont you just agree with me New Year is such a busy beginning! Holidays after holidays! And thank God it's always a joyful start! Though by mid year, we are draggin our feet and we are more or less physically drained. What a year!
