LILY (WHITE) - Virginity, Purity, Majesty, It's Heavenly to be with You

Though I didnt know its meaning initially, I know it's the right choice and it actually describes how it is with you (omit the third description of course!)

But they are not enough to describe it too! I really thank God for sending you to me, for you've been the big sis for me, younger sis, bestest friend and all other roles. I know i can depend on you and I am glad that i found you!

In times when i'm down, you would listen to me and let me have my way. In times when i'm happy, i know i can share it with you! When i'm unreasonable, you would open my eyes and show me how unreasonable i am. When i'm angry, you would leave me and help me calm down later on. I know i can rely on you for sound advices.

Thanks so much! And let's continue to grow in Him each day!

You're always in my prayer,

Lin

Monday, December 10

The whole of last week, I was shuffling between school and accompanying my parents. Then Margaret bunked in with nata for a few days during her transit from Sydney, so most of the nights was spent catching up with her. It was pretty tiring week. At the end of my parents' one week stay, we had the Christmas Party.

The moment my parents left, i busied myself with marketing and preparing some food. And that saturday, it was Nata's choir performance at Esplanade. It was nice although her choir group was not the best, but they weren't the worst either. Ehm at some point, it did get a bit boring and i dozed off a little i think. hehe.. That night we reached home after midnight and i prepared the food stuff untill 2.30am. On Sunday itself, i missed church and prepared more food till afternoon. The worst part was that while i was preparing the food, i had bad tummy ache (not the diarrhea kind) the entire afternoon.

Our party was supposed to be a semi BBQ thing, and yet the weather was so cruel! It rained the whole day!! SO i ended up having to roast everything in my oven and brought it over to Sherwood for the party. This year the party wasnt held at my place as we couldnt get the function room. I prepared ribs, grilled prawns, salmon and bbq-ed chicken for the party. With some asparagus and mashed potatoes. Tony and Marisa prepared salad and apple pie. Nata made some jelly, while Rina bought a log cake. I love the whole table setting. I thought of buying cheap table runners but we couldnt find it so had to make do with plain purple gift wrappers as the runner. Then we strew around some silver garland, ginger bread and chocolates in silver wrapping. Clever nata bought some silver decorations that i bought in states, like the snowman sticks and the silver small presents. It was really nice. For once the party really looked very done up!

The whole party was pretty fun too Tony came up with a treasure hunt, which requires everyone to mingle around to get their next clue. Though, it was a bit slow and required a bit of cajoling before they concentrated on it, they were pretty receptive when it came to playing games! AK lead us to play Police and Thief during the dinner, then Nata and her NTU buddies lead them in this "Whoosh" game, and then more police and thief! It was pretty engaging for everybody. No one had problem mingling with one another considering we had a lot of new faces in this party. I think it was really fun last night! Despite the rain everyone came pretty much on time and the party didnt end late as there are some people who have work the next day! I had a great time talking to everyone and Im glad that eveyrbody enjoyed themselves.

Oh there was gift exchange too! As i didnt prepare mine, I had to sacrificed this new tall piggy bank, which my mum bought for me, for the exchange. Thank god Nata got my present and she was kind enough to do a further gift exchange with me. hehhhehehe.. Thanks Nat!! So now that piggy bank is back to me! YAY! hehehee.... She's so nice! *Grins* *HUGs Nata!*

For the rest of this week now, it's FYP time
