My term break is coming to an end! And this is bad! The whole week hasnt really studied. Up to date i've only managed to finish 1 tutorial! Im hoping to clear 2 more by tomorrow. Hopefully it can be done.
This time round, i really do try to revise and try to catch up with work, although i felt it was little studying. But i do hope that i can do better this sem! Talking about it, exams will be in 2 months time! I have another 7 weeks of studying before the exams start! Argh the nightmare.
And as usual, I'm still in a christmas-y mode!! =) Just feeling so high that it's gonna be Christmas sooN! And i want a white christmas again!!!

just came back from elaine's!
well the initial intention was to go over for dinner and to take some stuff from her. While i was waiting for nata [wanted to go back together from town] we played mahjong with her mum in law. It was a friendly game.. but her luck is too darn good! I lost very very very badly!! argh and the thing is i couldnt recoup anything! throughout 2 rounds of game, i won twice only that's all!!! can u imagine. Ended up nata went home first while i tried to recoup some losses! But yeah even elaine ended up losing too!
Well the good thing is that at least her mum in law is very happY! once in a while get her to be happy lah. Thank god i wasnt playing against elaine's parents.. I think i will probably be working as a maid there!

Finally the Idol saga has ended... and yeah Hady has emerged as the new Sg Idol winner [as expected]. Jonathan played it cool and let loose and had a lot of fun today! And in fact, when he lets himself loose and just had fun, he sounded so much better than Hady. But too bad!
But that wasnt really the climax of the Idol. It was more of nata getting high over idol. U see turns out that her shuai ge was involved since he was in NUS SSO and they were performing that night. For that split second, we were shocked! And at the same time, we just went " isnt that.....!!!!!!" so our eyes werent playing tricks!! Nata instantly transformed into a grasshopper, hopping and hopping ard the house! After that hopping, she went back to the telly and glued her eyes there hoping to catch another glimpse but then there wasnt another split second.
After the idol has ended she got really high and was in a damn good mood! well that's love... love does make people go crazy right! =)... But my friend remember...... reality yah! =)

the biggest joke of the year..
me and nata went down for lunch today. then after lunch, since i always accompanied her to her busstops, this time i asked her to accompany me and it turns out that she couldnt since she didnt bring key. Which means i have to walk her home and open the door for her. Until i realised, that i, too didnt bring my keys! So stupid i tell u! Nata still thought that i was kidding! Which i did not! we called our house owner but he wasnt at home so he couldnt open the door for us till late at night! Fei is at work. Nata was in a appropriate attire this time but then her slippers were those to go to the markets kind! So going down to Shenton Way was a bit inappropriate.
THank god we met one of the maids that used to get locked out too! SO she asked us to go to management office to do it. And yeah we parted with 10 bucks to get the door opened. It was really silly i tell u!!!
Both of us got locked out!!!! man.....

a valuable lesson for life..
some weeks ago, i come to know [not sure whether from cell group, my disciple group or sermon] of a certain fact that we all have to be still responsible for our actions or wrong-doings even if the Lord has forgiven us. This is the one thing that the Lord would not overcome for us. We still have to face the consequences of our actions but in time He will give us blessings. It's something that I was amazed at since He has the power to do anything yet we still have to face the consequences no matter how repentant we are. This is what i call responsibility!
then of all things, this thing actually happened to me. In one of the business deal, i made a mistake [the other party is also of guilt, but blamed it all on me] and ended up having to fork out money from my own pocket to pay for it. It was sad at first but i thought, this is the consequence of my own actions and im sure that the Lord has something in plan for me already. I just left it all to Him to deal and solve my problem. It was solved and I didnt really feel a burden at all since I shared it with Him. He also blessed me after the ordeal.
One guy called me the other day and asked my help for a gift of a certain event. He represented one of the hall in uni and i tot it was my friend who recommended me. But it turns out to be from his friend from another uni. And i was quite amazed as to how the words spread. He didnt mention who of his friend that has recommended me but I take it that God was the one that brought him to me.
THat's why i learn that setbacks are nothing but a time to access our weakness. It is a way how God teach us. In every setbacks, there will always be a door opened for you. And i believe that in every problem, I cannot rely just on my own strength to solve it. My best solution is always in seeking the wisdom of the Lord to help me tide through it.

This video montage was made last year. It was one of those that really made me feel so blessed! Every year, i will always look towards christmas whenever it's getting closer to October. But seeing this video reminds me how Christmas is the season of the heart. Christmas is about having people around you to share, give and pass on the joy of it. It's the company that matters.
This video never fails to touch me, even to others. And im really looking forward to Christmas again at this moment.

Had my test today, it went okay (at least initially that's what i thought!) until i realise how i've used the wrong formula!!! But i think there should be working mark awarded. It was 20% of final and i just hope that the lecturer were lenient.
The Campus Crusade had a sports day held today. Just the engineering section and the science fac. When i heard of this i had wanted to go but then today, I felt quite tired since i didnt get that much sleep the previous night despite my long day! But im pretty glad that I went, cos it was really fun! I got to meet new people from the other faculty and it was a nice refreshing breather from the usual study stuff, especially after my test. We played Captain's Ball! And yeah my team won. The team comprises of guys and girls from both faculty, it was fun to see all of us not knowing one another being in one team and played together. During the break we get to know one another a little better.
And the highlight is...... I got to know this guy! Initially when we were playing in the court, I thought he was very aggressive just like the usual guys. I was a bit turn off lah cos we are all girls, he need not play till that aggressive. But then after the break, I became the "net" and he was guarding me. During that time, we talked and i actually find him to be quite a nice guy. [not bad looking but also not shuai, for those who is curious!] He's from science faculty, year 1 student. Despite he's aggressiveness, he's actually quite gentle and very nice to talk to. He left me quite a good impression. Then when the game was over, some of us felt like the game time were too short. My friend wanted me to accompany her to play basketball with the guys and he was also playing. Well during the games he sort of caused a bit of injuries here and there, but as you guys have always known me, I am also very clumsy whenever i play games. He kept apologizing (so cute!) and apologizing. After the game, we talked a bit and then i was supposed to go for dinner with all of them but the usual anti-social me, i went home. I still have a lot to do since i got tutorial tomorrow. Furthermore they are going to somewhere not so convenient for me to go home. So yeah that's the end of the story! I just thought that he was pretty interesting but too bad he's in Science. Science and Engineering faculties are both at the extreme ends of NUS. So the chances of meeting is very slim. =)

My chilli crab was successful!!! At first try somemore... Hmmm it was really satisfying!! and yeah the killing of the crab was a bit .... but yeah i had fun! the process made nata and qkho, who was around, to evacuate to the pool side... the chilli was giving out a bit too much oil which made us all sneezing like mad.. But yeah it was fantastic! =) was really happy when it turns out well!
today is defintely a nice day to just laze at home! Just look at the fine weather. A windy afternoon! Just the perfect weather to stay home and just read up, chit chat, hang around. And that's what we [mei is here for a stayover] did.
talked to stef for a while and yeah all we talked abt was online shopping. very bad!!! the 2 of them can go on and on on shopping! while me i just sit at another corner, reading up and doing questions and revising my work. But yeah the company for the afternoon is really good! and nothing beats a lazy afternoon spending the time with my 2 best friends. it's good with skype! at least it just feel that stef is nearby.
actually im pretty tired now.. haha feel like taking nap [yeah then stef will nag at me again for napping] but cant blame right. The weather is just too perfect. =)
