Favorite pics!

This post is dedicated to a random assortment of some of my favorite pictures over the past two weeks.
It is also the last post to catch me up on our adventures over the past two weeks.

First up, good morning sugars from Tristan to daddy!
It has been absolutely precious to watch their bond grow.
I sure do love these two boys!!

I could just eat this face!!

Wearing their new pj's daddy picked out for them for Christmas.

Their favorite part of them are the capes!

Love her!!

And him. :))

Dwight's mom watched the kids one night so we could go over and play games with his cousins. It was so much fun!

I know I posted this picture last night, but I had to post it again.
These 3 cuties keep us on our toes and make our world go round!

We stayed with Dwight's dad last night and enjoyed Mexican take out dinner and a movie.
I looked over and daddy had all three kids in his arms...melt my heart!

Ready for bed! I love that the boys are in footy pj's.
(Not sure what is up with their eyes)

I took Brianna to buy some new boots for her birthday, yesterday. It was an early present so I let her wear them to church today. She looked beautiful and loves them!

Ready for church!

Visiting baby Lenox, again. She is the sweetest and does my baby fix good!

Cousins!

Last year Tristan was TERRIFIED of Mr. & Mrs. Santa, this year not so much.
My mom had let me borrow them last year but had to pick them up once he had a meltdown seeing them. Ha!

Lil miss will be staying with me 3 days extra after daddy leaves and I am excited!
She celebrates her 6th birthday during that time so we will have extra fun.

At Mimi's for her pre-New Year Eve's party!

We are staying the night at Mimi's tonight and the kids begged for a pallet. I made them one and they were out in a matter of seconds!

Tomorrow we will be going to Chuck E Cheese, checking into a hotel, renting movies and having one last family fun night before saying bye to Dwight. I pray each of you have a happy and SAFE New Years!!

Family Fun Day!

Ice skating was on our family agenda for the day, last week.
It sounded like a great idea, until we got there. Tristan wanted to skate because Buddy does on the movie Elf. Amari was a no go and Brianna, indifferent. Ha!
We decided to forgo skating and headed over to do something a little more kid friendly...

And I am glad we did!
They had so much fun jumping and running around.

I was very proud of my boy for sliding by himself (this is a big deal and something we've been working on in OT). He was proud of himself, too!

T wanted me and Dwight, both to watch him (at the same time).
Seriously, can it get any cuter than this?!?!
Good job, bubba!

Our outings aren't complete without a cookie. :)

Sweet pea, Bri!

I am ashamed to admit that we ate at McDonalds that night...it goes against every fiber in my being. Ha!
However, one of Dwight's aunts got them gift cards their for Christmas so we did...everything in moderation, right?! :)

We ended the day visiting Dwight's sister, Mercede and they were exhausted.
Can you tell?!

I'm making progress...only a couple more post to go! :)

North Park Trains

Dwight and I took the kids to the North Park Mall in Dallas (aka the BEST mall, ever) to visit the train exhibit. It was amazing!
Do Tristan and Dwight look alike, or what?!? :)

It was such a fun family outing, I'm glad we made time to go!

It has been deemed the most elaborate train exhibit in Texas, and that says a lot since we like to do it big here in Tx! =)

There are tons of different scenes/landmarks set up and trains going around each of them.

Daddy was in awe, too!

We asked a guy to take our picture and he knelt down to do it...possibly the worst angle for tall people. I had to post it because it's just too horrible not. Ha!

Happy, happy kids!!

Tristan was seriously THE happiest kid. I knew out of all of them, he would enjoy it the most. Brianna and Amari had a blast, but Tristan has a special love for trains. I loved seeing it through his eyes!
This was his second time to go and it clearly needs to be an annual outing for him.

My favorite part of the exhibit was the Texas state fair!

The best part of it all, is that a percentage of proceeds goes to the Ronald McDonald House!

We took the kids to walk around afterwards and to get cookies, pretzels and drinks. We also went to a couple toy stores. They had tons of fun! Tristan picked this toy out and was so serious about it. It melted my heart, I love that above spiderman, batman, and anything he else, he wanted the one true super hero! :)

Princess Brianna!

Tomorrow is our LAST full day with Dwight. :(
I am going to try and get caught up on the blog tonight while he watches the Cowboy's game (and I type next to him!). It has been an amazing two weeks together and we are going to end it with a bang ringing in the New Year with our sweet kids! Stay tuned more to come tonight.

We have been super busy jamming in lots of family fun and I promise to blog on it all SOON. We have so much to do in 3 days so it'll probably have to wait till after then! :) I had to post a couple sweet pics of our 3 littles from today in between our shopping trip, lunch at Chick Fil A and stop to 2 different set of g-parents house...we are definitely on the go, go, go!

Off to enjoy Mexican food and a movie with my man!

1.) 3 peas in a pod

Christmas Day 2012

Christmas day was PERFECT. I could not have asked for a better day with my family!
We woke up at Dwight's sister's house and started our celebrations with that side of the family.

The boys went to bed on purple pillows and woke up on these cool Cars/Spiderman ones. Santa put them under their heads while they were sleeping. :)

Horrible, blurry picture but the boys were so precious and excited to come down stairs and see what Santa left.

One of their many new toys (gotta love having 4 different sets of family) a new tent!

I love Tristan's face here. We got the boys socks because they really did just need some. I wasn't going to put them in their stockings but went ahead thinking they would be overlooked. Tristan picked his up and exclaimed "SOCKS!". Ha! It's the little things...

Daddy helping the boys open up some Christmas cards.

After opening presents we loaded up the car to head to Mimi's. It was pouring rain outside and the weather was about to get worse. Dwight had to go pick up Brianna, so he took Amari with him and dropped T and I off at Mimi's so my family could give Tristan his gifts. Once he got little miss they headed back over and we continued our celebrations!

Santa was VERY good to Tristan at Mimi and Poppy's house.
I literally sent out a family wide email to my side saying NO MORE TOYS for Tristan (after I heard all that they had purchased). They didn't take me seriously, but in their defense they did listen to my request of clothes for him. My little sis got him a pair of red skinny jeans and I can't wait to see him rock those. :)

Christmas chaos! :)

This boy and I have spent the past 3 Christmas days with out Dwight, it was so special to share this one with him. Tristan was THE happiest little boy ever.

I was super happy to see this little miss walk through the door!

Mimi got all the kids these adorable hats.
It was the perfect gift seeing as it started to sleet while we were there.
Seriously, only in Texas can you be in shorts and flip flops one day and literally the next in gloves, scarves, hats and thick coats!

Our first Christmas together as a family of 5.
I am so very thankful for this precious gift.

I got the kids dressed and cleaned up while daddy put together toys and made about 5 trips out to the car in the freezing rain. Every time he would come in carrying something I asked him to go out and get, I would remember something else. He's a good man, I tell ya!

The Coleman Crew on Christmas day 2012!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Thanks Mimi and Poppy for another fun family day!

<3>

It started sleeting really bad around noon so we headed to Dallas to see Dwight's mom and more family.
The kids fell asleep in the car, Dwight was concentrating hard on the road and I was taking pictures and gasping in between...I hate driving in that kind of weather!

D wanted to wake the kids up SO badly once it started snowing hard, but I made sure that did not happen. Ha! The boys were beyond cranky from an early morning and needed some rest.

We went to 4 different Christmas celebrations that day and boy were we worn out by the end of it.
It was so much fun, though!

After our final stop we decided to take a detour and look at lights with the kids.
Dwight found this awesome neighborhood to go in. We let the kids ride up front with us (it was in a secluded neighborhood, going 5mph...trust me I am a carseat advocate!!) and enjoy the view.

My hubby was kind enough to go to three different places in the snow to find me some hot chocolate.
He treats me well!

After getting the kids in pjs and bed Dwight and I put on matching shirts (we are such nerds, I know) and decided we would watch a movie. I was super tired and kind of lazy so I decided I would take my makeup off with a baby wipe instead of washing my face (which I have done plenty times before). My face began to burn and itch and feel like it was about to fall off. Dwight looked at me and said "you're ear is RED, babe". I went into the bathroom and my whole face was engulfed in red bumps and swelling up. I guess I had an allergic reaction?!?! Dwight and I laughed for a few minutes then he went to get me some vitamin E cream and benadryl. A classic "Tiffany" way to end the night!

It is time for me to wrap up blogging for the day. Dwight let me sleep in, veg out on the computer and relax while he got the kids up, made breakfast, brought it to me in bed and just came in with hot chocolate for me. I think it's time to give the man a break...and a big hug and kiss! :))
