Quill's unwavering confidence and his ability to improvise strategies on the spot will prove to be a great asset in stopping the newest threat to the universe.

Human-Celestial Hybrid Physiology: Due to his celestial heritage, Peter possesses superhuman durability, stamina, endurance, recovery, resistance, and tolerance. As he was not raised with humans, he never knew how frail they were compared to most of the alien species in the universe, and therefore never noticed how different he was compared to them. This allowed him to survive unscathed while being pummeled, being smashed against stone surfaces, and sent flying through the air by Korath's own inhuman strength. Peter can also manipulate the energy within him or matter around him to create whatever he can possibly imagine.

He has used them to jump several feet up and evade enemy attacks by blasting himself out of the path of such attacks.
- Peter's primary weapons are his dual barreled, twin blaster handguns that fire gold-colored fiery blasts from the top barrel, and blue, electric-like streaks from the bottom barrel. They each have two triggers for the index and middle finger that fire the top and bottom barrel respectively. The blast from the top barrel is lethal, striking the target with the concussive, explosive force, enough to send a target flying several feet away and killing them on impact. The bottem barrel's electric streaks are used to electrocute the target and incapacitate them and it is also used to knock out the target and stun them. Both triggers can be used at the same time at fire its barrel in a dual shot attack to fight against several opponents or more resilient ones.

She is undoubtedly a master assassin and fighter, able to beat almost any opponent and escape danger through her physical strength alone. She is also a master strategist, able to think on her feet and use her wits to escape any danger that presents itself. Growth Regeneration: Groot's biology is made up entirely of plant-like tissues, granting him highly developed regenerative abilities. He can regrow lost limbs in a few hours. In combat, Groot's advanced regeneration gives him the ability to survive almost any attack. His body can immediately heal sustained damage, which, in combination with his rapid growth, makes him extremely difficult to kill.

Mantis
Mantis was a young empathic woman raised by the Celestial Ego. After bonding with Drax the Destroyer, she came to care for the Guardians and then allied with them to help prevent Ego from conquering the Galaxy. With her own servitude to Ego ended, she became a full-fledged member of the Guardians and accompanied them on further adventures. She has the ability to sense other people's feelings, and rarely alter them.

Mantis is also able to manipulate emotions to some degree using her touch. Mantis can, also through touch, cause a person to fall asleep almost instantly, using her powers to manipulate a person into becoming docile.
Enhanced Durability: Though outwardly she appears weak and does not demonstrate having great physical strength, Mantis has shown herself to be quite resilient to injury, further than that of humans and similar to that of Gamora or Drax.

After forgiving and helping her own sister alongside the Guardians during the Battle on Ego's Planet, she left in a ship to pursue a revenge mission against Thanos.
Powers
Luphomoid Physiology: Nebula possesses natural higher physical capabilities beyond any human being, which are further enhanced by her physiological enhancements. She has strength greater than that of a human being, and can easily withstand multiple injuries, especially impact trauma, such as falls from great heights. Nebula has agility and coordination greater than that of a human being, allowing her to easily keep up with Gamora in a fight and dodge her sister's attacks.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Nebula's extensive cybernetic implants allow her to quickly heal from otherwise near-fatal injuries, such as when her body was crushed and mangled when withstanding a direct blow from Drax's cannon. Thanks to her implants, she was able to reshape her body back to its original form by snapping her arms and jaw back into their normal place.
