Our take on the Fourth

After a late, late night at sleepovers the day before, we gathered for family photos before most of the family went to Stadium of Fire. Uncle Mike grabbed our camera and captured some of the joy the holiday brings.

Tessa is getting her hair done but is pretty much out.

Aunt Tiffany's feeling it ;) (sorry Tiff but it fits so well with my post's theme)

Aunt Becca and Miley ... a little delerious, a little angry, I'd say.

Koen just thinks the whole thing was crappy!

Dave's not thrilled. Amber's just sunburned.

Dash and Davin are happy, though. The boys did get more sleep.

Cousins playing before the photos. Which will come later.

Best. Boys night. EVER!!!

I have never been to boys night before, but still, this was the best one ever! Amber had all the girls over to her house for a birthday party sleepover, and my boys were jealous so we decided to make it boys night! Cousins Dash and Corbin came (and both wet their pants, so maybe it wasn't the BEST ever, ha ha) but Dave was great and set up our big tent and built a campfire and they roasted hot dogs and made S'mores and it was such great boy fun! Dash said, "This is even BETTER than swimming!" (Because the girls were swimming.)

This sleeping shot was taken in the pitch black and the flash was blinding, but they wanted it over and over and over.

Another side note picture. Poor baby just can't get a break. Has to do business even during breakfast.

Messes

Just a few shots of some of the messes I get to clean up on a daily basis.

Popsicle to the elbow. Oh yeah.

 Markers on skin. Every day.

These two decided to get in the fridge and have a shredded cheese party on the floor. Super yummy.

This isn't messy, just cute. He had his feet propped up on the steering wheel earlier but moved by the time I grabbed the camera. I love that he loves books!

Aunt Tiffany's photo shoot

Tiffany gave us the pictures she took at Caden's baptism, and they turned out great!

First, a few of the pathetic shots of the sickos:

OK, enough of that. Is Davin handsome or what? I'll just need to crop out that trash can later :)

Caden is refusing Grandpa's humor and WILL NOT hold that (root) beer bottle in front of the temple. Good boy.

Check out that flying rock! What a shot!

Love this one of awesome Uncle Sean playing with the kids. Such action, such happiness.
