A group shot, not happening...

We tried to get a shot of all 4 kids while my cousin was in town, but after playing on the playground and running around, that just wasn't happening so I will settle for 5 pictures and maybe each kid looks good in one, just not the same one!

Cousin Visit

My cousin Marion and her two girls Emma and Charlotte came for a visit this summer.  We were super excited to have them staying with us and my girls couldn't get enough of them.  Ironically the only time we took pictures while they were here was the last day when we went to the park the morning before they had to leave, better late than never!

Summer 2012

It has been a fun filled summer this year, our friends the Glittenbergs came back to the US for a summer visit, the girls had their first "recital" for tap and tumble (they only did tumbling), we made the annual trip to the Flying L Ranch, spent time at the pool and planted the garden, among other things.

Our kids absolutely love the Glittenberg kids (Lars and Katrine) and they brought back these fabulous dresses for our girls.  We were so excited to see them again and always enjoy their company.
The pictures are from the girls recital, they have two best friends from their class at school, Isabelle here with Taylor and Eva pictured below, more formally known as the tutu crew!

The girls LOVE the garden and although this year I think the deer ate more than we did we still got some great veggies to enjoy.  The girls love to go out and check what is growing and will eagerly pick anything you tell them is ripe.

April and Easter

Here is the catch-up from Easter 2012.  My parents were in town to help celebrate with us and the girls had a blast.  There was a lot going on with Easter itself as well as Savannah's first birthday party.  Unfortunately, I had hurt my back pretty badly so I spent most of this time in bed.  Thank goodness for Gramps and Grammy to help Stan.
We got lost of window decals from Gramps and Grammy, Grandmom and Granddad and our friend Sandy so the girls had a blast decorating the window and moving them around and around.  They liked to clump them together, but had weeks of fun until Mommy decided they were finally gross, and covered with dog hair from being dropped on the floor, and magically Easter decorations were done.
The girls LOVE fruit so they were VERY excited when Grandmom and Granddad sent a basket.  They are always super excited to get edible arrangements, always a big hit for them.
Grammy and the girls weeding in the yard.
Taylor egg hunting at Savannah's party.

 Madeline sharing with Savannah.

The girls enjoyed dying eggs for our own easter egg hunt.  They squealed in excitement as the eggs came out colored.  They also enjoyed peeling them later for egg salad.

We egg hunted first thing in the morning both inside and outside, hence why then have PJs on.  My parents and I had a blast filling the candy eggs too!

Since Mommy was hurt Daddy and Grammy put on their Sunday best to take the girls to church for Easter.

Grandmom Wallace found these wonderful Easter dresses and the girls have gotten tons of use out of them, the poofier the better when it comes to church dresses, they can't get enough of them!
