A new chapter!

So it has come and gone…The big birthday day, the loads of fun in Shreveport…now I am 30 and getting older every day, every minute…but the exciting part is that I know I have the best part ahead of me…I never thought I would be where I am in life at 30…that I would be done having kiddos, a house, a business, finishing school the right way, and having an amazing loving family…Lucky 30 year old you say!...Heck yeah!...Thank you to everyone for being such an amazing support system for me…a lot is going to be changing soon in my photography…I am excited, a bit nervous but it is going to be good for me…look forward to a brand new name and even more amazing pictures…
I had to get one shot of my 30 year old self so I could look back when I am 60 and think…wow I look so young!...and a pic of my lil joys…I love all my boys…I would be lost without the bestest husband in the world and my beautiful sons…

What is up at the Matlock house!?

My lil boys are 18 months…They are really coming into their personalities…Nolan is still clingy with Mommy…everyone tells me he is fine if I am not around but he doesn’t let me go to the bathroom alone with we are home…my Mas is getting to be such a happy pleasant baby doll…He is always just content playing and waiting his turn…I try my best to pay him extra attention even in the little things throughout the day…it is so fun to see my boys play together…Andrew really communicates well with Nolan and Mason…The lil guys say so many words now…a few complete sentences and getting to be more and more everyday…Noni and Mas know where all their favorite things are like bananas, cookies, and milk! and they let you know what they want and when you need to be getting it for them...We recently when to Houston to visit family and I included a few pics but I was so busy being Mrs. Mommy during the trip that I did not get much…Really we have just been hanging out day after day trying to stay cool…there is a lot of craziness in my house with 3 boys…I included pics of all the excitement that goes on in the Matlock home!

The 4th weekend with the Matlocks

This 4th was so different from last year…last year Daddy was away and I was nursing infants at Kaboom town…this year we were all together most of the weekend and the lil boys could enjoy themselves just as much as Drew…Friday we went to the Addison Kaboom town at PawPaw’s work…we got to show Reid and Nae Nae how much fun this lil party can really be…it was raining but that did not stop the show or the fun…The planes flew over head and the kiddos loved it…I could not get great shots of the planes because I did not want to get my camera wet but I did get a few good ones of all the fun…Mas and Noni loved the planes…Noi just kept waving…and Mas was a Daddy’s boy and enjoyed watching glued to his hip…Drew and Maddy bounced in the bounce house until we dragged them away…and you gotta love the popsicle pics…On Saturday Tim did have to go into work late so we headed down to East Texas to surprise DeeDee and CoCo…I have never driven there by myself but thank you Garmin for getting me there with my 3 kiddos all by my lonely…right away we went to get all the firecracker stand goodies that would impress a 3 year old…sparklers, and snakes, and little tanks that shoot sparks…we saw a second firework show in Palestine that was amazing…we made a play pin out of the back of the truck…the fireworks were so close that I could see where they were setting them off…you could feel the boom down to your bones…the lil boys were not scared at all…well now that I think about it maybe they were just stunned!...but it was a super good time…what a nice way to enjoy the Holiday…with your family : )

Noni and Mas are 17 months old!

So I know I have posted a few pics of the boys but not really an update…The lil boys are 17 months now…definitely on the move…Nolan has been walking since 15 months and is running but it is pretty funny…he walks any direction that he is looking and he is never paying attention to where he is going…He is the funniest, sweetest and the meanest…very bad comb…Mason just really let go of hands, furniture, and thing that he could even just lean on for security a couple of weeks ago…he has been walking along everything forever and even climbing but he just wants to make sure you are there…Noni can fall on his face and just brush it off…but I think Mason observes how careless that Nolan is and wants to be a little more cautious…Mason is sweet when he needs you but loves to laugh…he studies everything…He loves cars and anything that has a wheel…Mason is are Cars fan and Nolan is all about the Mickey Mouse…They say a trillion words…and their best buddy is their big brother Andrew…Drew Drew…If there is laughing anywhere in the house I go and check it out…trouble is probably brewing!...It is a lot of fun watching my sweet lil men grow up together…I am truly blessed to be given so much…Tim is still working hard at Halliburton…schedule is always wild…some weeks he can be gone completely, some weeks he comes home but only for a shower and a couple of winks of sleep and sometimes we actually get to have dinner as a family…I am just thankful he has a job and that we are so happy…this lil family is my everything… Thanks Mamaw and Daddy…they helped me get some sweet shots of the boys on their official 17 month birthday…and I wanted to share! Oh and I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th!

Summer at the Matlocks so far!

The Matlock Summer…It is so nice to have a break from school but don’t think that means I have slowed down in the least bit…I am busy with tons of shoots…I have had up to 4 in a week since the summer break and swim lessons for Andrew, a trip on the Tarantula to stock yards, and lots of other adventures out…I am sharing some pics of my sweet boys!

DinoWorld with the Matlocks

Oh was Andrew excited to go to the DinoWorld in Glen rose a couple of weeks ago…We went on a fossil dig…saw tons of Dinosaurs…over 100…had a picinic…all the boys liked the coy pond and playing on the dino playground…

Been Awhile...

Me and the kiddos have been busy but I just have not had time to post some of the sweet pics…I have been taking them though…right now is such a fun time…I am so excited about summer and all the fun times I know we are going to do…but I just wanted to post some of the pics from our latest adventures…we visited gram for Mother’s day, I took some pics of Maddy for her little preschool graduation invite…so proud of you Maddy, and we dress up Andrew as a mechanic…he took it very seriously, and finally just some brotherly love pics…
