Tyler entered the title of this blog. He thinks I'm a slacker when it comes to keeping up on our blog. So I'm going to do a "quick" re-cap of the past 3-4 weeks with some pictures. At the beginning of the March, I sang "The Star Spangled Banner" with my dental singing group ("The Impressions") at the Temple Owls basketball game. We sang there a few weeks before that, but this time, the CEO over all of Temple Medicine let us use his box (the nicest view of the game). The box was catered and so anyone who knows me and my love of food knows that good food would make my night! The game was a good one and we were able to bring our good friends the Cardon's along to share the excitement. Tyler forgot to bring the memory card along to record us singing, but everyone said we sounded way better than what they expected we'd sound like- I guess that's good?!?!?! Considering we are only dental students?!?!? As soon as I find someone with a video of that night, I'll have to put it on here.
My grandpa Domino passed away this last month and so we went to his funeral in NJ. He has been my grandpa since I was four years old (he's my step-dad's father) and we grew really close to him being out here where he lives in New Jersey. We will miss him and his infectious, humorous personality, and his kindness beyond almost any person you could ever meet. He was baptized a few years ago and we will be able to do temple work for him next year so that's exciting. He's now with my grandma now so that's good. My favorite words he would say (with his strong Jersey accent) were "youze guys", "decapilated coffee" and "Cacuzzi (jacuzzi)" and he could make a tatoo eagle on his chest fly by flexing. He would always make us laugh.
For spring break my mom and grandma came out to visit Ty and me. We were able to go to the NYC temple and the broadway show "Mama Mia". After a few days of funeral stuff, we went down and hung out in Baltimore. We went to the awesome aquarium there. I think it is totally worth it to buy the full package with the 4D show and the dolphin show. The aquarium is huge and really awesome. This was my favorite frog in the frog exhibits. He looks like a toy!

It was so much fun to spend time with
them and sad to see them go.
Tyler and I finally decided to spend our Christmas gift certificates from my parents to Cabella's and bought some camping gear! I camped a ton growing up and so I'm so excited Tyler has finally decided to let us get some camping stuff. We bought a six man tent so if anyone wants to go camping this year, let us know! Yes, we are nerds and actually set the tent up in our living room to try it out.
Ty and I went to the broadway show "My fair Lady" in Philadelphia
with the tickets he bought me for our Anniversary in Dec. Tyler hadn't gone to a musical until he met me because he used to tease me that they were dumb. He changed his mind after seeing one and finally found out they were fun. This is the Acadmy of music (The oldest opera house in the US). We were really high up and a girl started crying because she was so afraid of heights! It was still a great view for the musical though. For some of you who don't know, I was an acting major my first year at BYU and have been in musicals/plays since I was little so I love this kind of stuff. Ty did well on this gift! He's so thoughtful. It was so much fun!
We've had some other fun things going on, but I feel like I'm making this blog too long...so I'll stop. I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

This is a joke right?
Yesterday, I was hired as an assistant coach for my school's middle school/high school Lacrosse team. No, I am not kidding. I signed up to be the Head Baseball coach and we had 6 people sign up so they canceled the team. The school had enough boys to field a high school and a middle school team in Lacrosse and they were desperate for coaches. Knowing that it was a paid position, I told the Athletic Director "I don't know anything about Lacrosse, but you can pay me to show up every day if you really need someone." Bad move, he actually took me up on that sarcastic offer and now I am the newest Lacrosse coach at Collegium Charter School. All I have to say is that what kind of place do I live in where they don't have enough kids signing up for baseball and too many signing up for lacrosse? This is ridiculous. A couple weeks ago I watched Lacrosse for the first time and now I will be "coaching" it. Do you think there is an Idiot's Guide?
