Let Me Brag just a bit - -

This box was made by my son Warren. This wonderful box is now owned by a dear friend, Meri. The top slides in and fits just perfect for a framed top. Now this could be covered with stitchery but somehow I doubt that will happen.
It's it great?!! I just love it.

Happy Birthday Mailart

My birthday is coming and this arrived just the other day. It is a mail art from my international group. This one came from Germany.
Including some gifts. Yahoo!!!!
This is the back. It is so much fun to receive these little works of art in the mail.

Purple House and tree

I added another house. The tree is now done also. Perhaps it will get beads later on??? I don't know. At this point, it is just adding houses.

Well, we have most of a tree. That is the big improvement so far. This is perhaps half way across the bottom section.

Adding a few more houses - -

I am confused. I thought while I was recovery from surgery, I would have all the time in the world to stitch. While I have the time, I don't want to stitch. I am still sleeping a lot. I am just now starting to get out once in a while. Things seem to be moving so slowly.

A new hours and a tree -

Stitching is difficult since the surgery. I don't have a problem picking up the lap stand. I have trouble seeing the squares. Perhaps the pain medication is clouding my eyesight. Progress has definitely slowed.

More buildings and a few more folks

I am guessing a guy and a gal? I am not sure. I worked on the building next to church. Progress is slow as I recover from surgery. Today is not my best day. It was a doctor day. Everything is fine but I am a wreck.

Fall Market and a bit of stitching

Okay - I am stuck at home in my favorite chair. That doesn't mean I am not paying attention to what is new the stitchery world. Here are two new Blue Ribbon designs, with fabric and fibers. Halloween with a Y and Fall Foliage. I love the colors. They look yummy. I am trying to design if the Halloween one should be done as separate ornaments or in a row.........
Then there is a new one from Lady k (?) Just Give Me Diamonds. It calls for a silk thread that I can't seem to find easily. I think I will use Belle Soie instead. There is also the last LHN ornament for the year. I am not planning on continuing that 'monthly' deal next year. I also have three new Belle soie threads and some parts for the JCS ornament issue. Oh, and I caved in and purchased a Just Nan limited edition from Silver Needle called Merry 15. It is a Christmas biscornu with lots of holiday pins.
Oh and I did a bit of stitching. Actually there is a mistake here. The skater should have a darker blue for the shorts. I am thinking that no one will notice in 6 weeks, so I might just leave it this way.

We start with a church -

I did get a bit of stitching done. We have a small church, a child in a sled, a skater and bird house. And of course there is a ton of white to deal with.

Nickadermus is complete

His mittens look like boxing gloves. LOL. He is ready to go. It was fun to do. I might have to find another small project to distract me from the monster project I am working on now.

This was a lot of counting. Now it can get interesting with actual colors and stuff. LOL.

for his mittens. There are blue mittens with yellow star buttons that will be added when I get them. I just love this little sock monkey.

I just had to work on this little guy. I just love sock monkeys. Perhaps I should learn to make one or just buy one. Either way I had to stitch this little guy. He is in the Just Cross Stitch Ornament magazine. The fabric is aida and it is driving me nuts.
