Hello 2015!

Hello TCC members......I'm stopping by to wish you all a VERY happy new year!   I'm thinking 2015 is going to be the BEST year yet in every way.

I'm happy to have shared 2014 with each and every one of you and honored to have been part of the "team" here at the TCC.............we have a lot of new members too which is GREAT - onward in the new year I say!!

I see we have a delicious bunch of foodables here already thanks to our beautiful hostess Gracie, BUTTTT  I thought I'd bring a few items to share with all of you!

A little crystal rose for each of the ladies here tonight to remember New Year's Eve at the TCC!

UPDATE~Saturday Night

"Cody is coming home! He is coming home with anti-nausea meda and an appetite stimulant. They are giving him SUBQ fluids before he is picked up to be taken home. . . not out of the woods yet, vet recommends 2 more tests. Testing can be done in the regular vet's office next week."

The following was posted on FB:

CODY UPDATE: I am completely terrified. Went to our vet at 9:30. They did xrays and bloodwork. Nothing definitive in xrays (she said there was some "gray fuzziness" that was difficult to see" what concerned her was his elevated calcium count. She said if he were eating normally, she wouldn't worry, but the fact that he isn't eating is cause for concern. My regular vet is an Angel and called me (he is in Cleveland visiting family), after she gave him an update. Cody is now at an emergency vet that does ultrasounds (which is what they are doing, we came home because they have to fit him into their schedule). Please pray that is NOT CANCER. That is one thing it could be with an elevated calcium count. When my vet called me, he said he is hopeful that he just ate something and could have gotten sick...he said some cats DO walk around with elevated calcium counts. It could also be the beginning of IBS or who knows what. I have been crying all day, I am beside myself. He is so good at the vet. Cody healed my heart after I adopted him 2 wks after my 18 yr old kitty passed. Cody is only 7 yrs old (will be 8 in April)....please, please pray for him and THANK YOU for the good wishes and prayers you have already sent. I am beside myself and cannot bear the thought of losing my beloved boy.

Recovering From Christmas

WHEW!   I'm exhausted.......opening all those presents and all the excitement of having company and endless food and ribbon, tissue, wrapping paper - well it's just a whole lot for an old guy to handle! 

So, I'm taking every opportunity today to REST.   I'll just nap until I'm caught up and when I take breaks from napping, I'll play with all the COOL stuff I got! 

Hope Santa Paws was good to ALL of you because he was VERY good to me and I'd wish that for you too.

SUNday Calendar Time

My SUNday will be spent looking through my CB 2015 Calendar!

 

This calendar is purrrfect for the whole family. I can see many of my friends anytime I want, dad and I have time together as he helps me turn the pages, and mom can keep track of my busy blogging; facebook, and cat scout activities.

Can you believe this is almost a MONTH ago??? See the frost on the window? We haven't seen Mr. Sun since November! We sure do miss him!

I can tell you this is how we would like to be enjoying our SUNday! With some SUNshine and good window whiffies!

Oh what a glorious day it is when Mr. Sun manages to put on his happy face and make an appearance.  I'm always happy when enjoying a sun puddle!   

One of my favorite spots in the winter time is to go out on our front porch which gets sun early in the morning and lie there to soak up the rays!   YES it's cold out there but the sun makes it SO nice for a few minutes!

And in the summer time - my back deck gets sun in the afternoon and I'm THERE......keeping an eye on Mom's flower boxes AND lying in the sun until I get too warm then I go under the umbrella table for a few winks in the shade.

I do love the sun and it just feels great on my old bones...............almost like getting a Sun Sauna!  I hope everyone enjoys some sun for the holidays - I much prefer THAT to snow!!

SUNday with Piewhackits and Duchess

Thank you, Gracie, Sammy and Raz for hosting today’s SUNday fun.  Today being Winter Solstice day, we thought we’d spend it with our famfurly.  We found this really cool place where the SUN fits in this space between these big rocks on this day.  It’s almost like someone planned it that way.

We’re glad Sneaky Pie made it back from the Cat Scout trip to the North Pole to be with us.  He had a lot of fun and is still telling us all about it.
