President Hinckley

Not too long ago Ife and I went to visit some friends in Utah. We all decided to go and see the grave site of President Hinckley. It was beautiful.

It was so cute to see all of the drawings and poems from little kids. I couldn't believe how many people from all over the U.S. and other countries came to visit the site. It made me realize how much of an impact he had not only on me, but on so many people throughout the world. He will be greatly missed.

Knee Trouble

So, Ife completely tore his ACL playing rugby for ISU, and had to get surgery this last week. He had a hard time coming out of anesthesia. The doctors worried about his heart rate because it was so low. Anyway, things ended up working out and he is now doing physical therapy. He is able to put a little weight on it and is slowly getting better. He gets his staples and screws out in a few weeks. Yay!

Easter Egg Hunting

Saki was so excited to get the eggs that I couldn't put him down before the horn blew. I was worried that he wouldn't know what to do, but little did I know that he had practiced running and finding eggs the day before when my sister was babysitting him. I tried to take him to the back of the park, but he wanted to stop at the eggs in the front. Because of that, he only got two eggs. I think one of the ladies felt bad for him, and my crippled husband who just had knee surgery (ACL), so she gave us a prize egg so that Saki could get a prize. He chose sidewalk chalk. Anyway, needless to say, it was a fun day for Saki.
