Lovely faces

I had a lovely break and I really wish I get to catch up with more people. So many people, with their interesting achievements, share of challenges, laughs and cries. For the first time, I'm actually moving to a place where I already know somebody, but I'll still find new friends insyaAllah. My work is actually 6 days a week full day so I'm not sure how to manage going home every week on a 4 hour one way bus ride. Whatever it is, I am looking forward for work.

Merdeka!

This was our firework during recent Eid. But hey, Happy Birthday Malaysia! May this independence last and may we strive to be a peaceful and productive nation. Lets improve.

Just signed my contract

Eid was wonderful! I'm blessed with my imperfect family :) And I was offered a job, YAY! So that's a huge step I will take on September. Hello Junior Design Engineer (in training), may Allah ease my career. It's pretty far from home so I'll only be home during the weekends and we'll see how that will work. There are still uncertainties about where everyone will be in the near future but I hope that will get cleared up soon.

I miss East Lansing, no doubt but it's really time to move on. Meeting friends here makes me feel like I never left and MSU was just a sweet dream.

To new beginnings. Bismillah.

Imperfection

Patience is something I have yet to learn.

I respect those with so much self-restraint who drive to be patient in the worst possible situation. I'm guilty for having a low level to tolerate. It's easier to just withdraw myself from getting suck deeper into the situation with arguments where nobody wants to listen and everybody wants to be heard and in the end, everyone gets hurt.

I think my cats are more patient than I am.
