The Zutter Bind it All is the perfect answer to making mini albums, and you can get yours, along with other accessories right here in the Swirly Boutique!
It's a great system for making an album that has a polished look to it, and a great alternative to the rings that you see on others. I can't wait to get mine!

Last week I asked the girls on the forum, what their color wishes were, for this weeks new Card Challenge.
They choose some lovely soft summer colors.
light blue - pinks - purple - green and I added yellow to it.
Here's the card I came up with:
I used a few different techniques and I made the lavender, organza flower.

With the June SwirlyHues Challenge under way, I would like to take this opportunity to reveal and congratulate the winners of our May "So Chic" SwirlyHues Challenge...All of the entries were so dang gorgeous and we had a tie in votes a couple of times!!! But the final vote is.

Last week we posted a new challenge which is all about Maculine cards.
Today I would like to spotlight one of the entries (so far) cause it realy caught my eye.
Here's Jackie's, Father's day card:
Isn't it awesome?!!!
I love the way Jackie used the Bo Bunny sticker, with those cute Tim Holtz mini paperclips, on the front of her card. The banner on the inside is just so cute, and how about those perfectly distressed edges. A perfect Father's day card! Well done Jackie!!!

So, in case you wanted to add to your collection of silicone molds, Martha Stewart has an awesome little set here:
Of course, they are designed to work with the Martha Stewart Crafter's Clay, but you can use these babies with other clay, resin, and plaster. Just look at that frame! And, the flourishes- oh my!

She's a little bit of sunshine

This week we bring to you a lovely layout created by Elizabeth. The photo is a school photo of her beautiful daughter Sarah. What a gorgeous smile!! She's a natural beauty!! The colors of the papers and embellies were perfect for the photo!! The colors just seem to blend into each other!! The design s so pleasing to the eye and the flower cluster is perfect paired next to the pink rose on the paper. Like a little garden in the corner! Looks like Elizabeth used the micro beads with the sticky letters giving them an elegant look. Love the use of the journaling card.
