Forever and Ago

Ok so i know it has been ages since I posted anything on here, but school keeps me really busy lately! But it has been a great school year! I am in ninth grade now and its AWESOME! Everything is so much fun and I have a class with all of my friends!
The musical just got over and it was The Music Man and it was the best play we have done in FOREVER! But it was amazing and I had an absolute blast being in it!
Since the last time I posted I have done a whole bunch of school stuff and have had to make a lot of hard decisions but they have proved to be good ones in the end!
There have been birthdays every month since when I last posted, there has been a wedding and another engagement and I am the only one at home and my best friend and I are just as close as ever! I really thought I would have more to say but i cant think of anything!
I have just had a wonderful life and everything is going well!
I also just wanted to let you guys know I am still alive! :D

Trek

This last week I was on a pioneer trek! I had soooooo much fun! Other than the fact that i never really "connected" with my family and not to be rude I didn't really like them nor did I know any one in my family...but the over all experience was amazing!!!!
We did all sorts of fun things other than walking!
We did tug a war and stick pulls and button string game thingy and skits and a ho down and just playing around with every one!
I had a great chance to meet new people and become pretty good friends with them all! One night the sky was really cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain, our stake president knelt on his knees with all of us and in his prayer asked for the cloud cover to leave, after the prayer was over the clouds parted over either side of us and went around us all night long not a sigle cloud was directly above our heads! It was a true manifestation of the gospel and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do listen to our prayers!
I had such a fun time hanging out with all of my friends when I wasn't with my ma and pa and my real mom and dad were there to as a ma and pa and I got to sleep with there family one night too!
Every body there was such an example and I am glad I got to do this and experience a minimal portion of what the pioneers had to do! it was truly an uplifting time!

Logan

So on Saturday I went down to Logan to have a canyon cook out with brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews!! We had so much fun together! Then I stayed over night on Saturday Sunday Monday and Tuesday nights!! I had the funnest time ever!!!!!!! On Sunday we went to church and ate sandwiches and went to Angie's moms for dinner and had pazookies!!! We also played a really fun game called ticket to ride!!!!
On Monday we had waffles for breakfast, Matt came home from work early and we went and got tiny spicy chicken and it was pretty good! Then we went to the Smithfield somethin or other? After that we went to Gossner's and got squeaky cheese!!! After that we got these really yummy snow cones from a one vender snow cone place that I have never seen before but it is amazingly delicious(the pictures don't give them justice)!!!!!! That night Matt and I went on a bike ride along the river trail and I can now say I have been mountain biking! We also skipped rocks on our way back down! We did about 3-4 miles! When I got home Angie and I went for a run! It was really nice I think it might have been a 4 mile run but i dont know for sure...it could have been a 2 mile run...no body knows! After wich we played ticket to ride!
On Tuesday we got up! And at lunch time we met Matt at USU's campus and had lunch there!!! It was really yummy! I had a hogi yogi homestyle turkey, it has provolone cheese, pulled turkey meat, lettuce and mayo! All on delicious taosted faccosia bread!!!!! When we were done eating we went into the book store and I got a awesome-ly cute shirt!!!!! When we got back home we played ticket to ride and it was really fun again! Then we went down and played Wii fit! After words we went mini golfing and had a blast!
Today, Wednesday we woke up had strawberry and creamcheese filled crepes! Then we played a game of Ticket to Ride! Then I went down stairs and played the wii! I played for quite a while and Matt came home and then my mom arrived! We went to the Aggies ice cream shop and got some really yummy ice cream!!!! Then I got to go see my brothers crazy awesome work! He helps to make things that go into and on the space shuttles that launch into space! He told my mom and I how they worked on the peices and how they get the things "infuzed" together! it was all way cool! It's soooooo cool to hear him tell us about everything and explain it so detailed! Its amazing! You know that he's made for the job!!!
So I had tons of fun with Angie in the mornings and hanging out with the kids and beeing with Matt I hardly ever get to see them and to experience this has been such a wonderful time to gain a better relationship with all of them!!!!
I also really enjoyed seeing the Logan Temple every day I was there! It is so beautiful and you can feel the spirit just by driving past it's truely amazing!

Girls Camp

So I'm a week or so late but I went to girls camp on the 6th of this month and it was a B-L-A-S-T!! I had so much fun laughing about everything and just enjoying the time with all my friends! On one of the days we hiked down to the lake and canoed...there were 2 other girls with me. We were out just going to splash some friends when we were all paddling really hard on the right and then...the boat tipped over! We all screamed and laughed for ever and so hard! It was hilarious!!! We had to have help tipping our boat back over and all that but it was way fun!

One of our leaders that very same night got totally wigged out when she saw a mouse! She screamed and said..."A WHAT?!?!? RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" it was so funny!!!!!! But it was the funest girls camp I have ever had in my life!!! We stayed at Heber Girls camp in camp Rebekah...we were the first group in it and it was awesome cause we were in cabins and had a huge pavillion and it was just AWESOME!!!!!! Every night we had a devotoinal type thing where either the beehives, miamaids,laurels, or camp missionaries would talk about the land or about past recognizable women back in the day we also learned about what personal progress used to be for the girls and how it's changed over time to help the girls be prepared and learned for their time to be a mother and to be a virtuous women that can readily go to the Temple!

I thought it was Summer

It's rained every single day of summer vacation so far. What am I supposed to do with my self when I'm cooped up inside waiting for the rain to stop. People who know me know that I am not one to sit still for very long. The rain is very tedious for me! Rain rain go away come again another day!!!! Yelled at the top of my lungs! I want summer vacation to be the swim in the pool every day and hang out side the whole time not sit at home and be boring old gray blob.

S-U-M-M-E-R!!!!

So tomorrow, or today, or yesterday or June 5th...when ever you read this. But for today, tomorrow is my last day of school and then I am out for summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited! I get to swim nearly every day, I get to go to girls camp! I even get to go and do trek this year and I am sooooooooo excited for it all to happen! I love being in the mountains and I also get to go camping with my family and my friend has invited me to go the lakes with them a couple times and I am so excited to do all this fun active out doorsy stuff!!! Summer will be a blast! I just hope I can stay in touch with my friends and hang out, because last year half of us never even saw each other and it was sad! But this year I plan on keeping in touch with nearly every body! Yessss...summer tan!

What...you say, summer?

Heck yes I said summer! Its in nine...no eight more days and I can't stand it. I get all excited and ready for it to be here every time I think about it. Swimming every single day in the pool hanging out with best friends and those other people. Going and seeing movies sleep overs, parties all that crazy teenager stuff but it all stays clean and appropriate for every one. Including me. But I am on the top of the list considering I'm the one writing this. But I just love summer and can't believe it's just around the corner! I ...aaaaaaghhhhhhhhh! I am sooooo excited. I also get to camping and to Cali to see some family and all sorts of fun stuff!!!

Curiosity Killed the Cat

So I am growing my hair out, and you see...it's almost summer here in Utah. As we all know(at least I hope we all know) that Utah summers tend to be, well HOT! So out of curiosity I am wondering to all of you who know me and look at my blog, if I should cut it. If I do it will probably be a little higher than where my chin is. If I continue to let it grow(right now it is half-ish way down my back. If I continue to grow it out, how long should I get it?!? Long hair will make for really hot days during the summer but I like my hair long. Or short hair that will be cool in the summer i like it short too. So I am stuck in between a rock and a hard spot. I also want bangs! Bangs like the girls on the right. And a hair cut like that other picture...I can't find the hair style so not the other picture, just the bangs for now:)

Young Woman

Today, I guess you could consider me a "Real" Young Woman now. I received my Young Woman Medallion and it is sooooooooo pretty! It's silver and gorgeous! So like I said it's silver but it has a picture of the Temple on it and I love it! I also had to give a talk but it was really fun! it was about the Personal Progress program and what I thought about it and why I felt that way about it! Today is also a REALLY hot day! I mean I have drank more than enough water and I am still sooooooooo thirsty it's not even funny! But over all I have had an awesomely great day today and I can't wait for school tomorrow! 14 days left! Woo Hoo!!!!! Almost time for camping!

The Final

Tonight, Wednesday May 13th, is the last Pizzaz concert. It's sad but then at the same time I'm glad. I have had a fun year and plan on trying out again next year! Tonight we get to dress up in poodle skirts and dance and have all sorts of fun! We are doing very well but I think we could use just a little more work! But at least we are trying. Right after the concert I have to leave straight over to our church and go to young women recognition dinner because I am being recognized! So I just have to be speedy quick!

This Funny Thing

There's this funny thing called spring, and I think it's finally here!
I mean hello we've had sprinter for the passed 2 months. Not fun, it's just old. I like it when it's new and fresh! Like Spring! It's new and fresh and one of my favorites!
So now there are birds chirping every morning, the beautiful blossoms just popping out, baby animals all over, a nice soft breeze, and blue, some times cloudy skies with some rain!
Just perfect temperature and you can wear capri's and shorts and flip flops, no jackets, and you can play out side! It's just wonderful! I love spring and I am so glad it's here!

Ninja Nights!

So last night I had so much fun! My friend Gabe had night games and all my best friends were there! We played outside the whole entire time! When we first got there all the guys were playing basket ball and the girls were standing around talking. After that we went into Gabe's yard and played "soccer", all we did was kick the ball! Then we played capture the flag in and down the street! It was soooooo much fun! Especially when my friends and I just shot right passed all the people guarding there side! We were like zoom! And all ninja like! After that we played sardines, once, and then we played ghost in the grave yard! It was way fun too! we all ran like ninja fast! After that we walked around the neighborhood and talked with every one. Then we got back to Gabe's house and sat around on their swing set and talked and joked around with each other and everything! it was so much fun! I wish it would have been longer though! We had a blast and I'm pretty sure every body had fun! I wish i could go to or have night games every Friday or Saturday night! It would be so much fun!!!!

What Happened

What happened to those 2 week long spring breaks that every body used to get? I mean come on 3 days is only a weekend! Give me 2 weeks and i will willingly come back to school and do work, I swear I will. Just please me with a wonderful thing called Spring Break! I'm not ungrateful for the break I do at least get I just think we deserve a little more than this.
But for my spring break activities... all of them have been fun! On Thursday I had a sleep over with my friend Shay. Then on Friday I went out to my brothers house and spent the night. On Friday we went to the park and played and had lots of fun! Then that night my brothers and sister got all excited and decided to take me up to the church parking lot by their house and they taught me how to drive my brothers car! It was way fun! On Saturday I came home and we(me and nieces and nephews) colored Easter eggs and had tons of fun! Then that night I went to regional dance and had a B-L-A-S-T!!! It was soooooooooooooo much fun! yesterday was Easter Sunday and grandma came over and had dinner with us! Today I am going and seeing the Hannah Montana movie with my mom and friend Rebecca!

California

Well I know its been a while, but, I went to California last week. I left on January 29th and came home on February 3rd! We left on a Thursday, so on Friday we went to Universal Studios and had a blast! We went on the Jurassic park ride and the Simpson's ride, we walked through their animation building and we walked through the Backdraft show! It was way cool! Then on Saturday we drove down from where we were staying and went to Santa Barbra to see Seth and Jenea! We spent the day in monarch butterfly forest, walked down the trail and to the beach, searched through the tide pools found tinee tiny crabs, went to Seth and Jenae's beach where Jenea and I went on a totally wicked cool awesome adventure through the tide pools and found star fish, sadly at the end of our adventure, I slipped and cut my leg on a rock:( But it was worth it cause the star fish were way cool! Then we found a sea slug and I got to hold it! It was really goopy and gooey and squishey! It relaxes in your hands when you hold it and it grows like 4 or 5 inches in your hands! When wew were done at the beach we went back t seth and jeneas place and had pizza and hot chocolate and soda and watched movies! Then on Sunday we waited for Seth and Jenea to get over to the condo we were staying in so that they could go to the freak show with us, which was just to walk down the venice beach board walk, we went to the beach and I got to boogie boared with my brothers and stand in the waves, and alas... get tackled in the waves by my brother in law Court!!! It was sooo soo funny! After that I played in the water some more and enjoyed the rest of the day on the beach! Then on Monday we went to the beach again but seth and jenea weren't with us:( But we still had tons of fun! Me and my nephew Hunter made little pools, we went far out intot eh ocean and stood against the waves and jumped over them and sat down in the water and let the waves swallow us! Then we sat on the beach and let the waves com up over our legs and sometimes it would spin us because the wave had so much force! Then we ran out into the water and leaped over the waves! After that my niece Avery wanted to come out with us so I had to hold her cause she was to short to stan d all alone. So we jumped over the waves and sat in the waves and stood in the waves and everything else! It was so much fun! Then, needless to say, a dead pelican washed up on the beach so we had to be careful while we were playing in the water! Then on Tuesday... we came home, we got up, ate, got dressed and ready for the day, got to the airport and came back to cold smoggy Utah, Woo Hoo:( But other than that the trip was absolutely amazing and the most perfect thing that could have happened! It's That Time of Year Again

Yea! It's basket ball season for young women's! I love playing so much! Last week we had a game and we got creamed 6-36:( But this week we won 6-5!:) Six must be our number right now! Oh well if it helps us win I'm all game for it! I can't wait for our next game! I am so excited for tomorrow also because I am having a , as my mom calls it, sleep over hang over with 3 other friends! Then there is Saturday and every thing we do on that day then Sunday church and finally Monday NO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I am most likely going over to my siter Misty's to do scrap booking with her!

Really Good Book

If any of you book lovers out there happen to pass my blog I encourage you to read this post. I just read the best book ever, well the best book I have read in quite a while. It is called Fame, Glory and other things on my to do list, by Janette Rallison. It is a really good book with lots of tense "just get over there and do it" times. It's kind of a chick flick but it is also a really teen romantic book. Maybe thats why I like it so much?!? But I so wish that the main guy character in the book was a real person. You will find out why if you read the book. But once again I seriously recomend this book, and not very many books grab my attention quite like this. So if it sounds appealing at all go check it out at your closest library. If any of you have questions about the book, like you want to know more information, than go ahead and leave a comment here and I will give that information to you that you need!

Christmas and a Long New Years Weekend

For Christmas I got lots of fun cool things! I also had fun hanging out with my family and having dinner with them! We played games and earned prizes and opened presents again at my grandparents house. Then on Friday i went to my sister in laws cabin with my parents and I stayed until Saturday afternoon. I went snowmobiling on a snowmobile all by myself, and it was a big snowmobile. Then on Sunday I left with my friend to St. George to stay with her and her grandparents until New Years day! We played games and watched movies every night. I also found out that there is no early bedtime there. The latest we were up was until 3 on New Years and the rest of the time we were up until 1:00 or midnight. But we had fun shopping for 6 hours, hiking and climbing on the edge of cliffs with loose rocks, walking there cute, cute, cute dog Angus. We also got to clean up and rake her grandparents whole entire front and side lawn. Not my favorite, but it was fun cause we got to lay out in the drive way and listen to music and tan! That's how warm it was while I was there! When I got home on Thursday we got home at 9:00 p.m. My mom and I stayed up until 1:00 watching a movie that night. On Friday I went to the movies and saw Bedtime Stories! I think it is a really good movie. Then on Saturday(yesterday) I went to the fitness center and did the elliptical for 1.95 miles, the bike for 3.21 miles and again the elliptical for .43 miles and then I swam a 600 in the pool. Total I did 5.59 miles and a 600 swim! My shoulders hurt today though(Sunday).
