I'm very excited for next week! Scott's play is starting on Thursday and will close next Tuesday. I know he's been looking forward to this forever...and I'm SO excited to see it. But the underlying truth is that ever since I started this new schedule (ya know, the one where I get to work at 6 and get out at 2:30, that is so fabulous) I hardly see Scott. He leaves a few hours after I go to work and gets home after I'm in bed. So I kiss him goodbye when he's asleep in the morning and he kisses me goodnight when he gets in. Last week I didn't get to see him for 4 days, and I know to some that's not that long, but this new schedule was supposed to help with the time that we are available to be with each other. So as much as I'm excited to see this play and watch Scott do what he loves, I'm so excited to have him back home with him in a week....oh crap, I didn't even think about the homework that will have to be caught up on...I'll see you in May honey! ;)
P.S. I need to find a hobby, getting out of work at 2:30 provides a LOT of time in the afternoon and evening. Right now my hobby is napping and that's not very productive in my personal growth. Any ideas are welcome!

8 Minute Abs
Do you like pain? I have dedicated myself to 8 minutes of excruciating pain a day. But it's gonna be worth it. I don't know about the rest of you ladies but my abs are my problem area and I started using this video years ago (using it on and off) but seriously, it works if you are faithful. I once recommended it to a friend that was a workout nut and she loves this workout. It's fast and very effective to all the muscle in your stomach. The pain is totally worth it!

A full day!
Well today was my first day on my new schedule. I've been yawning all day, but luckily I didn't have that feeling at work where your eyes get so heavy and it takes real strength to keep them open. It has been so great though! It was 2:30 when I got done with work. Do you know how good that feels??? I have been able to actually accomplish things today. Anyway, my cousin Trish asked for a before and after pic of Scott since she has never met him. So the first picture is just a silly one, because Scott has a hard time being serious for pictures.
And then I told him to be serious...
In other news, we had our first Easter egg hunt. Scott's aunt and uncle come down to Price once in a while and we really secretly hope for eggs when they come. They have chickens that lay some delicious eggs. We weren't home when they came by and they hid some eggs for us behind our snow shovel. They are so incredibly good! If you haven't had a fresh egg, you are missing out. The part is that I didn't have to deal with messy dye to color the eggs. The chicken's did it for me.

A glimpse of the future
As I walked in from work tonight, this is what I found...
Disturbing at first...quite.
Come to find out, he is practicing with his stage makeup for his upcoming play. He has to be an old man.
This picture is kinda creepy. He looks like he's glowing. But I think the one below turned out pretty good.
He needs more gray in his hair. But all in all, I think he will be a good looking old man one day!
(I'm just grateful it was stage makeup and not my makeup.) ;)

Dear Summer
The other day as I was walking into work, I felt a breeze and in the air I smelled you. It made me so excited for you to come. Winter was not too bad, really only 2 or 3 big storms in here in Price, but I'm so tired of being cold.
I know that I complained about you A LOT last time you were around but we didn't have air conditioning and you know how I don't like being really hot. But I promise, I will try to be better this year. I won't complain as much and I will just enjoy the fun in the sun, the bronzed skin and the reduced gas bill. I hope that you bring me good things!

My new project
So I've decided that I need to do something productive in my spare time (because I've realized that perfecting songs on Guitar Hero and watching lots of TV is not all that productive). So I've decided that I need to write a history of Scott and I from when we met to now. I wasn't good at writing in my journal as Scott and I dated, and I've been thinking a lot about some of the fun times that we shared that I had forgotten about and I want to always remember those time. So it's time to write them down and keep a record from here on out. Thank goodness for computers so that I don't have to do this by hand, that would take forever!
