Welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and summer from New Zealand.

I can't believe we are half way through February already.  I do hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and were spoilt rotten.

It was wonderful seeing so many entries this week you must have loved that sketch of Anne's they say and change is as good as a rest.  It was great visiting your blogs and seeing all of your creativity and so many entries.

Farewell Linda

This fortnight it's sad for me to say good bye to a very close and dear friend and Design Team member the lovely Linda Anderson who has decided to move onto greener pastures.  You can't blame Linda for moving on as her and I both started on the design team of Sweet Sketch Wednesday at the same time and then moved onto Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 back in June 2010.  This means Linda has dedicated 6 and half years producing cards every week and then fortnightly and commenting.   I think I can speak for the entire Design Team here and say we'll miss you and your lovely work and wish you all the very best for your future happiness and I know we'll see you in blogland.

We are so grateful that you join us each fortnight. I think that you will be glad that you stopped by this fortnight as we have a new sketch and the return of a favourite sponsor.

Can you believe that it is the first day of February?!!  Holy moly ... where did January go? Tomorrow is GroundHog's Day here in the States, and before too long it will be time to celebrate Valentine's Day.  I gotta say that GroundHog's Day is one of the sillier holidays here but it IS tradition!

It was so great to get back to creating cards for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  I think I can speak for the entire Design Team when I say that we enjoy visiting your blogs, and it was fun to get back to seeing YOUR lovely work.

We are Back! Bugaboo and SSW2- 104

Hello Blogging friends, We are back! After a little time off and a nice rest, we are starting this new year all refreshed and with a new sketch.

Hello and welcome to another year at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Our pre-Christmas Challenge to use your favourite sketch of 2016 is ongoing until the 17th of January, you can find the post here and so today I am sharing the design teams favourite creations of 2016 to give you a bit more inspiration and do remember that you can enter more than once but PLEASE do check our rules and make sure you have followed then before linking your card.

We were unable to have a top 3 for the last challenge because so few entries had followed the rules.
