(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Sadie was freaking out when the doorbell rang on Halloween. I'm not sure why, exactly, as she has heard it before...but she kept running around like this when it happened haha. Perhaps she was just trying to be a ferocious shark...

Trick or Treat!

Well, Sadie was a big hit in our neighborhood yesterday (duh!!). We decided on the shark costume this year. But I also took some pictures of her in her ghost costume for your enjoyment :) I made a sign for our front door, warning the trick or treaters of a shark sighting! They all laughed when they saw Sadie through the glass hehe. I have a funny video to post later in the week, but for now, here are the pictures! We hope you all had a great Halloween!

Halloween Costumes

I have already starting seeing the dog Halloween costumes at PetSmart and Target...but I'm still not sure what Sadie will be this year. There are some cute options out there!! Yes, I torture her every year with a Halloween costume.

Happy Birthday, Sadie!

Today is Sadie's (unofficial) birthday! Since she was adopted, they weren't sure of her actual birthday, but listed November 1, 2005 as her birthdate. So we celebrate on this day each year! Happy 4th birthday to my little Sadie! I may be insane, but I always buy her presents and a treat for her birthday. She is like my child, so I think it's perfectly acceptable haha. This year, she got a cupcake and a new toy! (She certainly doesn't need any more toys, but I couldn't resist.) Happy Halloween!

Last weekend, we went to a Dog Halloween Parade in Cold Spring Harbor. It was a lot of fun. Sadie had a blast. She dressed up as a banana! She was the only banana there, too, and everyone loved the costume! She even was photographed for a dog food/treat cookbook. I'll post more about that once I know more.
