Caardvarks current challenge is to make a CAS card, which is always a real challeng for me. I knew I wanted to use these sweet little birds from a Memory Box sheet of PP. The green PP is Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen. The prize this time is a great bundle of Hero Arts products. Thanks for stopping by today.

Just a note
This is for Week #28 at the Shabby Tea Room.
"School Days"
"School Days"
I just love the inspiration photo.
The library card image and pocket die are from Papertrey Ink. The text, polka dot and sweet vintage circle image are from Sweet Little Studio. She has the most adorable collection of papers and embellishments. The one on my card reminded me of the pictures in the children's book in the inspiration photo.

Thanks for the lift
The sun had just set when I took this so the lighting and photo are not so great. I have wanted to try Nichole's hand-drawn frames for quite some time. I was initimidated because it seems tricky but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
May Arts A Happy Halloween Craft Challenge
I decided to play along with May Arts fun challenge using some of their fall/Halloween ribbon.
I decided to alter a gift bag using fall papers, a vintage image and May Arts EX10 and JD10. I made 2 accordian circles and layered the smaller one on top of the larger one. Then I snipped off several bats from EX10 and added them randomly to the circles. I also added a dotted ribbon bow. Three strips of dotted ribbon were added to the bag to anchor the embellishment. I added one more bat the to the upper corner of the sweet witch finished it off.

I *heart* Grunge
Cheerio!
This card is for Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge #15.
I punched 7 long rectangles {the smallest die in the set} with a Spellbinders die, then stamped each one using a different Versamagic ink color. The image is the large circle from Faux Fun Circles. Sentiment is from Fancy Phrases. I found this sketch to be quite challenging, and very fun at the same time. Thanks for stopping by.

Just a Note
The challenge over at Scrapbook Trends blog is to make a card with a pocket.
The text and polka dot paper is from Pretty Little Studio. The other PP is October Afternoon. CS is Papertrey Ink. This pocket is made from Papertrey Ink's Library card die. The library card is their Library Card stamp. The 'A+' image is from the It's Official stamp set and just a note is from the Take Note stamp set {all Papertrey Ink}.
So, what are the odds of trimming a piece of text paper with a children's story on it and having the words "smoking a pipe" end up at the top? Apparently pretty good! It was too late to re-do when I noticed it.
This card is going to my son's teacher and has a coffee gift card attached to the back of the library card.
This was such a fun card to make. Thanks for talking a look.
Heartwarming Vintage Hello
For this card I made my own sheet music patterned paper with Crafty Secret's new Artsy Banner stamp set.
Also, Darlene Pavlick is hosting an "Anything Goes" {Crafty Secrets}challenge here.
This the inspiration photo for week #27 at The Shabby Tea Room. We are to use something green or something inspired by nature. I chose to create my card around a sweet Crafty Secrets image. I created the vintage sheet music by stamping the music image in Lavendar Moon onto Cream CS. I added touches of Prisma Glitter to the roses. The seam binding was colored with Tattered Angels mist.

Papertrey Ink Fall/Halloween Card Swap via Ted
I decided to make Sue a Fall card and this is why: Papertrey Ink's new Falling Leaves stamp set.
Ever since I first laid eyes on the leaf dies I knew I wanted to make some cork leaves. I stamped the 'veins' with Versafine ink. I used a hot glue gun to attach the leaves to the card - don't want them falling off in transport! The tag is attached to a Terra Cotta Tile vintage button. That ric rac is cut from Oceon Tides felt. I *heart* cork leaves.

Moxie Fab's Light & Bright Tuesday Trigger
This weeks colors are yummy. I sure would love to be sitting on one of those beautiful sofas with a cool drink in hand.
The flowers are cut with Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Blooms dies, and the sentiment is from the new Embellishments set. To see more Light & Bright projects click here.
