THE FAMILY. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

The Tale of a Broken Clavicle

On December 20th Cole decided to take a tumble out of a friends kitchen window. He was walking on the window sill and pushed right through the screen falling 3 feet to the grass below. We took him to the doctor where she proclaimed "Wow, that's a remarkable break." She was talking about his right clavicle. The treatment... a lovely sling and a follow up appointment with orthopedics in one week. It's been a difficult injury for a little boy who's convinced he's capable of becoming a super hero if he practices hard enough. Maybe in the future he'll think twice before performing window sill stunts.

Little Luke

Isn't he a Doll? On Christmas Eve he'll be 8 weeks old. Time flies.

No More School = CRAZY HAIR

Mia loves the fact that school is out for two whole weeks. Not because she can sleep in or spend time with her family. It's because she can let her hair go wild! No hair gel, elastics, pins, or hair spray. She's in heaven. That is, until Sunday when we get ready for church.

Merry Christmas 2007

Tis the season to be busy, busy, busy! With a new baby, everything seems more challenging, but we are still very excited about Christmas and the whole holiday season. If only we could get some real Christmas weather. South Texas Decembers are something I will never get used to.

Here's our "Santa Baby"

Mia loves holding Luke. And she can always make him smile.
