This kid makes me laugh!

Landon is just at that age...everything he does seems to make me laugh {or want to cry}.  He is just too funny.  Here are a few more really random things he does:

*He refers to me as "Landons mommy".  He will ask for a drink and then say "Thank you Landons mommy".  Or he will be searching the house for me and say "Where are you Landons mommy?"

*Landon loves to play on the computer.  But he makes it do funny things.  For instance, right now I cannot use an apostrophe {see above} because it kicks me out of blogger.  I am convinced it is something Landon does.  It only happens after he has been on here.

*Landon will ask me over and over "Landons mommy, how come you love me?"  I am required to come up with a unique answer each and every time.  If I give an answer I have already used during the day he gets really agitated and says "You already said that one!"  Thankfully he accepts any answer so as long as my brain can keep straight which answers I have already given in a particular day it is a fun game.

*He is very particular.  About just about everything.  For example, he often requests that I cut his sandwich in a specific shape or shapes.  Typical requests include 4 squares, 2 triangles and a rectangle.  I still havent figured that one out yet.  But I can tell you it does not mean to cut the sandwich in half.  I have even resorted to using cookie cutters to make fun shapes before he can request that I cut it in a rectangular shape.  Because that request always leads to tears and a tantrum.

*Speaking of sandwiches, Landon eats the crust first and will often leave the inside of the bread.  I have never heard of another child who prefers the crust.  That seems pretty random to me.

*Landon has a love-hate relationship with church.  Recently when I woke him to get ready for church he told me "I dont like church."  I responded with "Well, we go to church every Sunday".  To which he responded "I dont like Sunday".  When I ignored that comment he went a step further and said "I dont like you either."  Ouch.  It was an epically bad day at church.

I love my little guy.  No doubt about it, this kid keeps me on my toes!

Random Landon

Our sweet little Landon sure is random!

When Landon decides that he would like a drink of milk he will bring the gallon of milk to us wherever we are in the house.  I have been handed a gallon of milk while in my bed, while outside vacuuming the car, downstairs in the laundry room, while in the shower, and a million other places away from the kitchen.

Landon has a favorite primary song that we sing almost every morning when we gather for scripture study..."Once There was a Snowman".  We sing this song rain or shine, summer or winter.  It also gets sung at every FHE.

Landon loves to play duck, duck, goose (or some variation of it anyways).  Whenever there is a lull in activity, Landon decides that it would be the perfect time for a game of duck, duck, goose.  Or mickey, mickey, goofy.  Or cow, cow, pig.  My sister, Angie, was a great sport when she came over to spend New Years Eve with us.  He wanted to play that game all night long!

Landon is terrified of one of the baby dolls we have in our home.  Allie discovered this and quite enjoys bringing it out to "play with".  Yeah, right.  She hasn't played with dolls for years.  Every time she brings it out, Landon heads for the hills screaming.

Landon is a neat-freak.  He likes order and cleanliness.  A lot.  If his room is not perfectly straightened when we put him in bed, he will say "clean my room first".  It has been a bit of an adjustment for us since his sister could not be any more different in this way.
