Four Legged Friends

 Happy Saturday!

I am going to share a card made for friends of ours who recently lost their dog.

I used this sweet stamp from Prickley Pair called Murphy.  I chose the colors specifically to look like Molly.  This image was closest to how Molly looked.

I paired it with a set of stamps from My Favorite Things - Critter Condolences.

The background is stamped with a mix of Versafine Toffee and Ranger Archival Sepia.  I inked with the lighter color first and slightly inked with the darker color overlaid.

The inside has a lovely sentiment from the condolences set.

Thanks for stopping by!

CR84FN46 - Sweetest Moments

The CR84FN colors this week are soft and sweet and perfect for Valentines.

I was working on another project and  had a scrapling leftover.  I picked it up as the base for my project:

I decided to make a bookmark for my daughter using the scrapling. It has a fold so she can put it over the page.  You can also add a tiny bit of magnet (the kind you get as advertisement for the refrigerator) to the bottom to help keep it closed and on the page.

Products: Hero Arts Sweet Hearts, Cornish Heritage Farms, My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence - Bee Mine,   Memento Angel Pink, Ranger Archival Coffee,

Here are the lovely inspirational photos and quote:

CR84FN38 - You warm my Heart

The colors this week for CR84FN are so beautiful.... grey, black and hot pink. .I pulled out a sweet image to create a little easel card:
The image is from My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence.  The paper is from Memory Box. The die is Spellbinders. She is colored using Copics and highlighted with the white gel pen. Shadowed with watercolor pencils over the copics.

When you open it up:

Happy Birthday Tanya!

Today is our DD 10th birthday. She is our youngest which makes it harder to see her grow up. :)

I created a patriotic themed card for her as she is a July baby and she thinks that her cards should be red white and blue and patriotic themed.

The background is Hero Arts Design Block, The little girl image is from Penny Black.  Tanya selected the stamp set to create her card from. I modified the image to have her holding the star balloons. The background fireworks is from a Northwoods Sparkler stamp. The script in the background behind the fireworks is the Declaration of Independence pasted into the word processor and printed out on card stock to create a custom pattern paper. :)

I also created a card for the Colour Q Challenge #95  this week:
I picked up a few new Pure Innocence stamps from My Favorite things and this little girl and her kites were perfect for the colors of the challenge.  The background is another Hero Arts Design Block.

The sentiment is from Verses called Think Lovely Thoughts FS1140-D.

Here is the fun inspiration photo:

Hope you are having a tenth birthday kind of day! (where you are queen and everyone does everything for you!)

One Ringy Dingy

One Ringy Dingy... Two Ringy Dingy... (I am showing my age here)

I created this card for a MFT challenge over on SCS. The little girl  is so sweet calling up her friend to just say Hi! (My youngest can totally relate to this!)

I combined the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence set with a Hero Arts set . The paper is Memory Box and I just love the bright colors mixed together. The numbers are Hero Arts and I tried to match the colors to the colors in the paper.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Friends Forever

Here is my card based on the MFT Wednesday sketch using MFT stamps. Thanks Stephanie for the Adorable inspiration! :)

I used My Minds Eye and October Afternoon paper and two different MFT Pure Innoncence sets to create my BFF's sharing an umbrella.

The ribbon was an awesome gift from Donna! Thank you Donna!

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I thought it was appropriate as they looked so sweet together under the umbrella.

Thanks for stopping by!

2S4Y - Laura's Sketch # 57

2S4Y sketch this week is from Laura and it is Sketch #57. I was so happy to be featured in the Top 10 last week at 2S4Y. Thanks Kazan!   My Favorite Things is sponsoring the challenge and has a lovely prize.  I decided to use my Pure Innocence image on my card as I purchased it from MFT.  I also had this lovely stamp from Tim Holtz that fit the sketch.

Here is the sketch drawn with a heart.

My take on the sketch:

Love the sentiment and it worked beautifully with the sketch. :)  I trimmed out my little girl to remove her wand and wings and have her hold a heart.  The bottom is made from a series of punched hearts.
