From "dagen efter".. as we say in our other language.
The day after.
Saara's party that is.
I met up with my dear friend for a well deserved glass.
I haven't missed my bus stop for quite a while, but I was so into my book (The Ministry of Special Cases by Nathan Englander, a horrific story of missing kids in Argetina in the early 1970's) I did.
The next stop however had "vacation" written on it, so I took it as a good sign and had a lovely walk home.
This is how you earn the coolest aunt and uncle on the planet prize.
Saara has booked her appointment.
Oh look at that.. more bubbly.
With our old neighbor. As both our kids were graduating, me missed each others' parties.
This was to celebrate the fact that we moms survived.
The weather in June was disgusting.
There's just no other word for it.
Wet, windy and cold.
So when it's rained you take your macro lens out.
Shadows are pretty too.
What World Cup?
I love that you can find Brazil in even nail polish names.
I covet my friend's new rug.
It's my wallpaper on my phone.
Just makes me happy.
She's been reading.
A lot.
In English.
Her English teacher will be happy.
(I read this one too)
With the icky weather I've been in my studio making mini things for the fair on July 27th.
Making wishes for 10 degrees more, please.
Cuddling up to this cutie.
A friend's little girl.
The one I knitted the chevron blanket for.
More of the other one later ;)
We had a lovely dollhouse meet in Espoo, we brought our dolls along for photo opps.
Here's Esther in her new/old swim suit with her friend Signe.
More of the meet here.
It was still cold and rainy.
For goodness sakes, it even SNOWED!
Pretty though.
Prepping for dinner is relaxing.
My nephew and niece were with us for four nights around Midsummer.
Wool socks in June...sigh...
Testing the new grill.
Cousins.
Yup, still cold.
Netflix and books.
What great excuses to just be.
Yes, I have Benedict Cumberbatch as my bookmark.
Flat Ben.
"Hello!"
Cake!
I dress to match my garden.
Once the littles were back home I headed out to check the sales.
Dressing room with a pulse.
Nearly bought it.
I just don't wear gold...
Can't wait to wear this to work :D
Villa Villekulla (Pippi Longstocking's house) is coming along nicely.
Saved from the rain.
I've been upgraded.
Yippee!
Niina got my old one. She's over the moon.
Her Lumia was such a lemon...
I found it unbelievable that I couldn't call or text her.
A phone that didn't receive calls... yup.
