Not that I mind in the least.
I like coming up with a nice surprise for my coworkers :)
Today I transformed the table into a spooky forest.
The table runner is glued together from pages from a Hammond Innes novel... I really do have some kind of a addiction to crfating with old books.
The dried pine branches were stuck into air-drying clay that I painted black and sprinkled a little glitter onto.
And then those ghosts....

I've stuck battery operated tea lights underneath for the glow.
How are they made?
How are they made?
I dipped white cotton fabric into a white glue and water mix, wrung it dry and draped over my models:

two small lego princes, two Bratz dolls and one action man all draped in cling film...
Really.. I got some funny looks when I was walking around with those.. it looked like a fetish gone a little awry :P
After a good 6-7 hours of drying, the ghosts were dry and keep their shape nicely.
And surprisingly easy :)
Any great ideas for a Xmas table?
..is this thing on...
..off to Pinterest then... :)
Kyllä leuka loksahti kun tajusin, miten nuo kummitukset on tehty! Mielettömän hienoja!
