Honey Mustard Please! started off my 1st day at subway. work didnt seem like a drag since the lunchtime rush hour fitted nicely into my shift. time flies like an F-16 during this period, it's just make and go. Go. GO. I was thrusted into counter duty (which included making sandwiches and wrapping them up) immediately given the respawning queue, and im sure i made or wrapped one, two or more sandwiches horribly. no matter, i have my trainee badge to cover up for it =) did attempt some conscientious CNY shopping just now with the dudes through marina sq and raffles city. im not a fan of the tradition of buying CNY clothes but i needed one long sleeve for the coming Big Date and DND, so i've decided to get one from springfield. Zara and Topman subtlely discriminate against horizontally-challenged personeels with their Super Slim Fit shirts or Super Skinny Jeans. im one size too large for their clothes; my nipples will unwelcomely burst out of the shirts. truly, sadly. truly sad. so im left with springfield, which coincidentally ran out of medium sized shirts. hence i have the luxury of delaying my cny shopping till furthe notice, unlike the other dudes who have the added worry of finding a shirt incorrect of their size. the other dudes include clarence chong mexcel lee meng hwee chew and every other person in Singapore who can casually fit into a TopmanZara shirt. There's a Boy who really Hurts i had dozed off halfway through the Man Utd Chelsea match. no offence to the game though, i was simply too comfortable too tired to last through the 2nd half. i was awake for the 1st goal, woken up by the 2nd and was half-asleep through the last. Only one was left standing (or siting), and that was the Alien. wonder what teh-peng he drank, must have been a mix of teh and red bull. a very unproductive start to the new year, not that it matters to me. at least i can say im familiar with facebook now, after watching a couple of Steven Lim videos and creating a pet on Pet Society. pardon my very androygenous-looking pet, but i guess im unfamiliar with the ways of dressing it gender-coherently. Here's how it actually turned out -> ![]() i don't know what a monster i have created. the clothes sure don't help either. my month of chillin' out is going to end on the 20th when i start on my subway phase of life. f&b is the shit, literally. haven't heard of anyone saying nice things about working in this industry sadly. i'm not so much for the money, so i'll take each day as it is. i realised i have not shaved so regularly in the army as i have now. the gf simply doesnt like the whole scruffy look, gets in the way when we're smooching. but no matter hard i can try, some things will still get in the way. LCP Li No More I'm starting the new year as a pudgier Mr Li; no longer the dark brooding LCP Li. i realise that by looking forward to movie release dates, it has helped to make NS fly by. but i doubt that is how i would like to see to the end of every month, so i'll have to set a new target. maybe by paydays? why do we even have to countdown to something? it makes our life seem so unbearable. 1 hr to 2009 and i was on the train back home. why wasnt i like the other kids who love to party to dawn and drink to their hearts' content? alcohol is probably the oldest legal drug around, and i've barely gotten tipsy before. it's not that i mind getting drunk whatsoever, but just as how some people might find soccer just anothe ball game and are ignorant of what the fuss may be, i may just see alcohol that way. sad, but true. besides i dont have anyone to give me a ride home if i'm too deadDRUNK, unlike this lucky chap here. if I really do need to have a new year resolution... it'd be to cut down on cheese. you see, to me it isnt just food; it's a damn drug. i just must get something with cheese on the menu, and the problem is that it seldom disappoints. i wana get my bike license done as well, been stalling on it for far too long already. lastly, maintain healthy relationships throughout. and just in case you are wondering if Pretty Girls do Fart, here're some people to bust the myth.
