well today has been a really interesting day
played drums for the first time in church today. in my personal opinion
i screwed up.
but my bro thinks otherwise.
i guess everyone has a start. and i had a bad start.
oh wells. demoralised but God forgive me.
went on to form our new prayer cells! im grouped with xinhui and xinhua. now i did not type the same name twice. its xinhuI and xinhuA. its sad im not called xinde or sumthin.
anyway drove out for lunch. had isaac ernest sheila xinhua and weiqian in my car. it was a really fun ride. tho my altis was no match for abel's incredibly powerful mark X. wad to do. my dad aint into cars. but cruising down ecp wif the windows wound down and wind blowing into my hair and in no small part the girls hair was shiok. no shortage of laughter. the east coast food village was a nice place for lunch. no nid to fight for seats like in tanco. almost every stall was open. food was pretty good. 10 min drive frm church only. think its a good place to go to for lunch on sundays :)
the drive back was hilarious. pillow fights in a corolla altis is hazardous for driving. and taking fotos of girls in the backseat using the side view mirror while handling the steering wheel is indeed a high risk manouveur. made it back to church safely sumhow.
went wif bro to NUS sheares hall to help him shift in. joyce's fotos were littered all over the place. the world is sucha small place. and joyce's face took up alotta of that place. after that drove back to church where we waited an angonising 2 hours for dad to come out before heading for a sumptious dinner wif my cousin and nieces. came back home and did up this new blog template. finally its done.
adios! hopefully this week passes by real fast. im beginning to dread mondays.

oh wells my life hasnt been much worth blogging abt. but since xiaoling asks for an update instead of CALLIN ME ON THE PHONE, i'll oblige on revealing the plain, dull, uninteresting, boring details of my life.
its been awhile since i blogged so... i guess i'll hafta go by categorisation again
workplace been fine. not much work to do. juz marking files and answering some emails here n there. there was the annual dinner and dance which was quite fun. there was the option of bringin partners but no one seemed to bring, so i didnt in the end. yea. maybe nxt year i will. be the odd one out. but its expensive. hahaha oh had to dress as some hip hop gangster. and all of my police division shall bear witness that i was the only goofball who really did conform to the requirement. i looked... off. but at least i got to do sumthin no one else dared to do. hahaha sumhow i noe im gonna regret dat sumday.
church has been ok. been thinkin abt the CNY plans but haven really come up wif a nice plan yet. groups are gonna be regrouped this week. hope all things go well. the prayer chain thing is working pretty well too. hope it wld last.
friends... i rmb goin out wif ling but i cant rmb when. we watched death note 2. it was pretty good, but since both of us were so tired, we cldnt really grab all the mystery. hahaha it was quite funny when two half-asleep ppl try to figure out how dey kena killed and counter-killed. went out wif joy ytd too. the plan to buy a present for my mum flopped, and so did the idea for a movie. we ended up at plaza sing food court, talking the minutes away. it was really cool to catch up, juz the two of us alone.
family. celebrated my mums bday ytd. she doesnt really touch computers except to clean the keyboard of dust, much less read blogs. so deres not much point posting some fantastic birthday message here. but treated her to dinner at sakura. think she enjoyed the food. but i found the food... ok. mebbe its juz happiness of us not treating her to a dinner paid wif money given to us frm my dad. oh wells.
oh i went back to hwa chong as well. for j1 orientation campfire. it was raining so it dampened quite alotta ppl's moods. including some who were supposed to be there as well. took me 1.5 hrs to get to hcjc frm newton mrt which has gotta be sumwhere in the guiness world records. dinner at curry favour wif bumin cliff nel and yonghui. quite funny how we can still talk so much kok despite all of us living really different lives now. it was quite a soothing experience, to walk in the compounds i had found so much fun in ago. the rain had stopped, and so the cool breeze was really... cool. met a few teachers, notably mr pang. had a lot of laughs with him. amazingly two grand juniors recognised both me n nel. i guess we're the assholes afterall. and the great grand juniors seems a fun bunch. they came in thru direct sch admission, meaning dey are probably really good at sports, or is some chess champion of sorts. oh wells as long as the 69 legacy is passed on...
well my life has seen some ups and downs these two weeks. but i wld say if looking at the 19.5 years past, it wld still seem like a straight line frm the macro perspective. i'd rather it this way. my fatty heart might not be able to take the jerks on the line.

think i just got to know my limits alot better last night.
well its been another few weeks since i blogged. i guess its quite an experience. went for church camp which was in my humble opinion, a blast. tho we cldnt make it to gopeng, we managed to have quite abit of fun and bonding in our humble prinsep street singapore life church 4th level worship hall.
kickstarted the night off with a praise, prayer and sharing session. though there were only like... 6 of us. hahaha the rest subsequently arrived. headed down to geylang for supper. initially intended for tau huay, but ended up wif beef hor fun. its famous, but i, the food critic, says its too salty. headed back to church for the nite. bathed and went into the small classroom where i learned loads from xinhua. and i mean. LOADS.
slept at 2, and woke at 8. quiet time sharing and praying for each other, b4 we headed off to escape! haha queued for mother long for the go kart which im proud to say i won champion tho i started off at 3rd grid. played yakult and im sure i speak for ernest when i said its super nauseating. unfortunately it started raining so we cldnt play on. but it was 6 bucks. cheap man. hahaha played plenty of waste ur money games b4 heading off back to church for lunch. as nativity story wasnt playing anymore, we decided to haf bowling. at victors superbowl, we battled it out. hahaha i volunteered myself to be a team leader but my score was how low. hahahaha ooops the previous time i reached 140. looks like dat was a rare stroke rather than my usual form. hahaha but amazingly our group won 3rd among 5. hahaha when we had set our sights on 4th. hahaha amazing sia. my grp members: ernest xueting xinhua and yongxiang cld hardly believe their ears. returned to church for dinner, sharing and pictionary, which was really fun. went on to the cathay for our midnight show, a night at the museum. i think it was ok funny. maybe cos i was already freakin tired. returned to church to sleep at 3pm.
nxt day awoke again at 8am which was quite quite early in my opinion. hahaha 5 hrs of sleep sia. had our breakfast and morning sharing b4 heading out for canoeing at bedok reservoir! after raining for a few days we were blessed with fine weather. so fine that we kena sunburnt hahaha. there was plenty of capsizing and plenty of rescuing. but dats wad makes it fun.
the shagged me trooped off to town immediately after reaching home to meet ling. bought my crumpler and sat down for a short talk at starbuck b4 meeting zhan. talked for abit and went to zara, while zhan left for home. den zhan came back again dis time wif jingmin haha it was kinda funny. 4 of us sat down at lido benches to talk. i've nv seen a more dedicated drummer than loo. she was practicing there larh... hahaha zhan left, went to scotts for beef noodles but much to loo's dismay it was closed. and i left. cant rmb where i went tho. scatterbrain. had dinner wif my parents at a steamboat buffet place. it was quite good i guess. but i had abit of a stomachache after that.
saturday was a sleep in. damn i cant rmb wad i did. if sumone knows wad i did please tell me. i only rmb my fam headed down to changi airport at night for our annual reflections session. it was cool. its always cool to think abt how God has blessed my year past. cheonged down to orchard wif my bro in an attempt to buy a gift for the exchange the following day. but it was a failed attempt as the shopping hours werent extended as we thot they were. bought my shoes finally tho.
sunday went to church in the morning. and at night took the car out for countdown. went to abels hse and then drove to chomp chomp to buy back supper. fireworks sure beats counting down on tv. but wad to do. kena cut. yea so we watched abit of movies b4 i sent joy home. passed khai her planner as well. b4 a long drive home.
monday was pretty cool. met up wif the tuition peeps excluding the lazy bum loo hahaha who decided she was too busy to come. we watched a movie in a e2max chamber called elite. the producers. it was funny. but it got boring towards the end. we left from there and i went to ozy's hse for his family's new year party. it was good food and alot of smiles and laffter. woon miah and regina came too. went to play monopoly disney edition which was loads of fun. but after miah and regina left i was the first to bankrupt. sian diao... hahaha headed to woon's hse for two matches. wasnt too perky myself but i managed to hold on till the entire match ended. slept at 4 and woke at 9. breakfast at the nearby hawker centre was followed by a trip to thomson plaza to meet up wif the fam. came back to watch ong bak. den online. den dinner. den now. quite sian. hahaha watching curse of the black pearl as im typing this entry. its the end of my extremely long holidays. till nxt time!
