nv blog for a few days again. well came back frm chalet den at nite went out wif my bro. we went to acts, which is this huge christian shop at china sq central. he bought a bible and a cd there. haha i was tempted to buy a ring but... haha i cant carry it off. oh well. hmm den we went to passion music, a christian music shop which provides coaching for bands. if we can get em to come n coach us, we dun hafta wait for another 6 months b4 we get our drumset! well hopefully it goes thru. den we went to bras basah but it was too late cos we had dilly-dallied n so we went to bugis. he went to topman while i went to visit anbc to buy the stuff we nid this sunday. 60 bucks lah. wah kao so ex. den we slowly trudged home.
nxt day which was ytd hmm cant rmb. er... oh yah did love grp stuff in the morn. den went to lings hse watch shrek 2. after dat went wif her to work n den i left for cineleisure to haf subway for lunch. cold cut trio for onli 2.80 damn shuang. oh well den took a mrt back home. reached home felt like sleeping but din realli sleep. in the end onli caught half an hr of 40 winks b4 i had to go for tuition. halfway thru celine called me to tell me she had lost her fone. haiz. din noe wat to sae to her... den completed tuition n went to serangoon garden market to haf dinner. aft dat came home n we chatted on the fone. den i went to sleep.
this morn tidied up my room. gonna do the minutes n grp listings liaoz...
well juz returned frm table tennis chalet. very tired now...
first day left home at 1030am. but halfway decided to meet ling. felt so so down... walked her to work n walked back so i was late in meeting em. oh well their cheerfulness kinda got me up again so we went to the chalet wif me feeling positively happier. well we cldnt check in at 1pm yet so we went to play pool. it was damn ex lah... 9 bucks per hr. siao but we played aniwae. well wasnt too bad lost to woon. hahahaha zai kia oh well den we checked in n settled down for awhile b4 ppl started arriving. we were playing PS2 n all dat esp. winning eleven b4 we decided to go down to start the bbq fire. well we used hell lots of firestarters, displaying our lack of skill yet extreme prowess in firestarting. started cooking the food n not long after it began to rain. sian diao. den left me lopo huilin n serena outside cooking wif an umbrella over our food. got pretty wet. after cooking some food we decided to go back in n started playing games again. but soon after went down to cook even more food. oh well started feeling down again. haiz... hmm went up to play ps alone, wif huilin reading beside me. erpz y she bring book to chalet wan??? well ppl started comin up n soon we began to watch mvp qing ren. oh well fell asleep halfway but watched the matches n all. den aft the show ended, everyone went to sleep leaving lawrence lopo n me to play ps2.
we played entire nite n entire morning until 7am dey started waking up n we went to mcdonalds for breakfast. aft dat we went cycling. cycled ard the entire place. everybody was on doubles except me huilin n anli. oh well felt betta after cycling. think its a gd way for me to relax, esp. when cycling right nxt to the beach. damn shuang. oh well den returned the bikes an hr early n lost the money to the evil uncle. haiz den we went back to chalet there to jump into swimming pool go clean ourselves. hahaha the water was salty lah. like seawater lidat. wah kao. den went to the toilet downstairs to bathe. quite shuang cos the toilet damn big. hahaha well den went to haf lunch at the foodcourt b4 goin to tampines mall to watch kung fu hustle which sucked absolutely. no story, wasnt funny n too much animated graphics. sian diao 6.50 fly away. well den everyone left leaving me nicky zp weien n lawrence n we returned to the chalet n played ps. later went to kfc for dinner n came back to play even more ps. dey started playing n i started falling asleep.
was the earliest to wake up n i played nba live 2005. damn shuang. hahaha t-mac rox my sox. er... den played godzilla n dey started waking up. sparred wif lawrence n den later on played war of monsters. oh well pretty funny den we packed up n left. took a bus 88 back to hougang n met my parents for lunch. den now im back home. so so tired lah...

well today is sunday so its... CHURCH DAY! went to church n did sounds system which baffled me. had a lack of sleep frm the previous nite so i was like conking in n out thru the sermon. haiz den had breakfast which was real good. n joy gave me a xmas card. its pretty nice thanx! well den we had cell grp sharing. laz time this yr le. nxt yr love will haf a whole new outlook! hahaha actually not very new oso lah. we're still the same old us. hmm it ended n we went to bugis village dat mcdonalds to haf lunch. din haf much appetite... oh yea b4 dat went wif jovan n haoquan into bugis village to look at bags. think i dowan the high sierra wan liaoz. hahaha dcshoecousa is betta. hahaha still figuring out which one to buy oh well. but 35 bucks for a cool looking n large bag. seems worth it. hahaha den walked ard bugis awhile b4 goin to swee lee. den frm there came home. bro n kelvin got shut out the mrt while jovan n i managed to get on so we got off nxt stop n came on the train dat kelvin n my bro were in. hmm reached amk n realised there was a free shuttle service to gain city so we took it n after looking in vain for speakers, we left for home. now im home n bored. argh church delayed our purchase of drums again. im super pissed....

abt ytd. well cant rmb wat exactly happened. in the morn lazed ard b4 going to huangyi's hse for lunch. wah kao ten course lunch man. but it was so salty n oily can go NKF. den mavis started goin crazy n recorded millions of AR-BER-THEN's in my fone. juz dat she saes AH-BOO-DEN. which is damn cute. haha its my sms tone now. zai. den left n slacked ard at home b4 goin to plaza sing to meet guan n nel. nel was terribly late so me n guan juz walked ard n when he came, we went to paradiz to play pool. muahahaha i won both games!!!!!!! too bad the cues sucked. if they were betta cues i wld haf lost. confusing? it juz means i won on luck larh. wun sae who paid. hahaha scarly dat guy kena bombarded. celine came to meet us n den we left for church. service was boring... had our dinner frm the catering n den we went up to 2nd floor. celine led the games n i was doin sounds system n projection upstairs. think it was pretty fun n all... i hope. hahaha den i did a sharing n ended the thing. den everybody dispersed. i was left wif guan nel cy cel josh n jov. so we walked down to paradiz to bump into sophia liping n weixin. den we trooped down n walked all the way thru the immense crowd to somerset. spent some time dere trying to meet up wif dan n ziqi. turned out dey had bought cans of the spray thing n sprayed a whole load on me. pissesssssssssssssssss me off. but oh well continued our way n squeezed into the crowd at the central stage. but b4 we cld reach it was 12am already n ppl started screaming n spraying. cld feel celebrations mood man. den we advanced further into the crowd to see the choir singing halleluia n den followed by lin jun jie. wah kao all the girls ard me screamed n jumped. not to mention weixin who was beside me. N NOT TO MENTION SOME GAYIFIED ASSES WHO WERE ALSO SCREAMING. oh well we watched on for awhile b4 leaving to meet my bro. dan bought me a young coconut. wah it was damn sweet lah. oh well so we trudged back to church feeling all exhausted sweaty n tired. sian diao. oh well was first to bathe n when i returned we started playing fifa. hahaha wah kao chun yim is the pro lah. he plays damn pro. n jov made casillas score an own goal. it was hilarious. oh well slept at 4am+
woke up 8am the nxt day n left church at 9am to haf breakfast wif my parents. den went back home n did some work wif my dad. tried to sleep but cldnt. oh well den we went to fetch weiyee n went to church. started rehearsals. it was quite nervous cos i cldnt rmb my lines well n it was already late. plus the beard was real itchy. oh well but soon it started n we performed fairly well i guess. yea sermon was realli good. mr lai's praise session wasnt bad either. after the service left wif celine for plaza sing. had dinner at kfc n cldnt finish my meal. hahaha wasnt feeling me lah. yea den went to carrefour to walk walk, look at ipod mini n zen micro which shes crazy over. went to all the electronics shops. decided not to go to zherui's place in the end cos it was too late, i was broke n etc etc. oh well etc etc. walked ard wif nuttin to do cos her dad was gonna pick her up le. hmm den went to some vcd shop followed by times bookshop. den we had a chat at the railings. it was nice yea... den she had to go so i took a mrt down. haha was msging yenzhi but so qiao she was on the same train as me. we talked abt it a short while n den i waited for my parents car to send me home. n dat was the end of the day.

2. Our SIN keeps us from knowing God personally and experiencing His love.

ok so its monday. hmm argh cant rmb a thing at all. er... all i rmb was gettin pang-seh-ed but dunno by whom. guess its a gd thing not to rmb afterall. oh yea i rmb goin shopping wif my mum. yea dats wat happened. i went to wisma n all but din realli see anything much. er... cant rmb again. oh yeah den went for tuition at nite. it was good. learnt more abt physics. hahaha
den its tuesday. well went wif my bro to plaza sing early in the morn to collect celine's bday prez n go sports connection look at bags. saw my high sierra jackknife but decided to buy the ballzak instead. looks cooler n can contain alot more too. oh well den left for church. we were slightly late but we were the onli two there. waited for chuantin to come n den we idled ard. erpz den we went to subway for lunch. turned out abel ern isaac n celine were at spotlight purchasing materials. had a good lunch. i mean its subway!! den celine had to go home so i din get to pass her the present. nor wish her happy bday face to face. oh well. abel ern isaac met us n we walked back to church. started cleaning frm level 5. there were dead baby cockroaches n millions of cockroach eggs. wah kao. but i vaccuumed them all away. tidied everything n the three guys started the decoration work. it was pretty good. cleaned up n went to level 4 which took damn long too. den went 3rd floor. den abel ern isaac left so onli me my bro n chuantin. but we were so tired chuantin n my bro went to sleep while i played fifa 2003 on my bro's laptop. mr lai returned at ard 6 n jasper came. we all went to tanco for dinner n we den went back to church to continue work. ern n isaac returned to do work but i left for orchard to watch breakthru missions. dey performed real well. a pity alotta ppl ard were already christians. hmm den walked back to church n mr lai picked me up halfway n we went to clarke quay for supper. had mee rebus n satay. was good man. went back to church at like 12 am+ n had a bath. listened to abit of music n drifted off to sleep.
woke up nxt day (wednesday) at 730am to prepare to go tuition. well my bro bought breakfast back for me n i left for novena. was sleepy thruout entire tuition. glad it ended n mj n i went over to plaza sing to look at bags. further confirmed dat i wanted to get ballzak. oh well hmm went to arcade to play for an hr b4 ta-pao-ing mcdonald's new double grilled chicken foldover as lunch back to church. hmm ern n abel came up n had lunch wif me, den celine came up. passed her the bday present n she left in a hurry to meet her frenz. hahaha dun think i said happy bday either. ooops well den after lunch we started waiting for isaac to come n we all fell asleep. turned out when i had to leave for home he reached n shortly after yansing reached too. went to wisma to look at flash n splash shirt as well as get money frm my mum. saw this nice shirt but no size. sian diao. i left for home n on my way dey called me to tell me dey met qingliang lao shi n dat dey were gonna haf a feast. oh well kinda sian diao. hmm went home n slacked ard till celine called me up saying she had been pang-seh-ed. knowing full well how it can feel i biked down to the bus stop n ran to the immediate arriving mrt n cheong-ed down. turned out she was late. erpz. met alan at mos hahaha his hair is like yellow???????? hmm went to kfc n met her there. had dinner which i felt full pretty quickly. cldnt finish my meal n we left for the performance place. well met ruizhen on the way. hahaha shes sucha bubbly gal. oh well we joint forces to laff at celine. shiok. den went to the place n crossed a real busy road crowned as the most dangerous road she has ever crossed by celine. well the performance was realli good. the singing was high standard n all. hahaha well we were down there screaming our support n all. hope God touched the hearts of those ard. well after the performance din noe wat to do but in the end met faith perh. b4 dat met the di brothers. hahaha dey were goin clubbing wif geraldine. oh well dey were like asking: y u n faith so holy wan? oh well met faith n we took a long walk down to plaza sing. shared abt my mission trip n all. den took a bus 190 down to her hse at choa chu kang. haha disaster struck. turned out by the time we reached her home there wasnt any mrt nor buses left. so i took a cab down back home. reached at 1am+ n bathed n conked out.
woke up today (thursday) at 830am to find myself possibly late in meeting celine. turned out i was. but i managed to catch her on the train n we went to plaza sing. but it was so early dat nuttin was open yet. walked to ntuc at ioi plaza to buy some snacks b4 walking to church. yea started stapling the booklets wif jovan. so three of us stapled 200 booklets. heong man. by the time we finished it was lunch time so we went to bk n den ice monster. lunch courtesy of mr lai. went back to church n made the tv head for weiyee. den xinghui n chum yim came so we discussed wat to do for tmr. well come tmr n u wld noe! after dat went to cycle wif uncle lee's bike ard haha n den left for sunshine plaza. had the fried wanton mee there n waited for my mum to pass me the money n all. den left for OG. took bus 65 there n i got my shirt. finally the XL dat can fit me. oh well den went to heeren to look at flash n splash for my quiksilver shirt. haiz no more le. den went to look at slippers n all dat b4 leaving for home. challenged jovan to wear pink nxt time. hahaha oh well alighted wif celine at amk n den we went to her hse there to buy dinner. went to ntuc to get a litre of fruit juice b4 walking her home. den walked slowly back wishing i had taken my bike n den finally reached home. took a bath n here i am blogging. wah kao the recalling work is tiring man...

hmm today is sunday and so its... CHURCH DAY! well went to church reached late cos my mum dilly-dallied. oh well went to english service. watched the choir sing. it was realli good. high standard. compared to wat i saw these past two days, i think our standard is good. yea at least for singing category. the onli thing i fear is that certain parts where there is solos or the four girls singing, they cant be heard cos orchard road aint exactly quiet. oh well den went up to prepare for our mission trip sharing. i shared for damn long. was told to introduce the trip briefly aniwae. hmm quite sian diao cos i had to leave b4 the entire team shared. went to ahma's hse n had lunch there. dey were tokin abt politics n all dat, my uncles. oh well hmm den after dat went home n lazed ard. read abit of harry potty n fell asleep. woke up n tried to complete my entry on mission trip but cldnt finish. hmm den went out for dinner. was planning to meet sumone at orchard to pray for the xmas parade but no one cld make it so... stayed at home. juz went out wif my bro as the driver to liping's hse to get back his cable. oh well nuttin much happened. quite a boring day.

well abt ytd. hmm early in the morn nuttin to do. was supposed to meet yings but din cos she cldnt make it. juz lazed ard at home. hmm den abt 11am lidat left wif my bro for far east. but he pang-sehed me too n got me to go wif him to plaza sing instead. hmm ate the xxl crispy chicken again. den had a chicken wing frm fei siong. den we walked to church n on the way picked up a sub each. tried the meatball for the first time in my life. quite ok lah. but it was too damn filling. dunno how my bro finishes a whole sub himself. wah kao i cldnt finish n so gave the remaining to lihuan. haha she hadnt ate u see. hmm den started the church meeting which lasted for like... 4 hrs. hmm den after dat did the church presentation stuff. hmm listened to some funky music. hahaha den bro bought dinner for us n den i left wif him n ys for orchard. went to watch st andrew's cathedral's performance. very good the way dey did it. thank God. hmm den went to meet up wif ling n we walked ard lido area. yea den took a 132 back. nv knew i cld take a bus there. oops. hahaha not streetwise enuff.
den today. morning haf dental so nv go training. den reached home 12 lidat n started preparing my sharing for tmr. den lazed ard until i was so damn bored. so i decided to go out cycling. wah kao take the elevator 18 levels down n within dat time span it started raining. wat the hell. so came back up n lazed ard waiting for rain to stop den went out again. cycled ard entire serangoon. wah kao damn tiring. den halfway i change gear den the entire chain came loose. thank God i rmb laz yr table tennis chalet how dey solved my gear prob. found some dried leaves n juz forced the chain into position. well managed to make it home but nearly died when i looked back for cars. lost my balance n my *insert organ* flew. well den now im bloggin n tokin to joy online. den later guess i will go orchard again. haha alone!!

i was browsing through the magazine but the indian uncle was staring at me so i had to spend $3 on a bloody magazine.but anyways, here's a step-by-step guide on how to write a good blog (headings thanks to LIME)
1) Pick your host
the magazine says the first step is to get a good host. macam like parasite, must get a good host so your blog can grow like a bird's nest fern. next.
2) Make it visitor-friendly
in other words, insert more of those radio things on your blog so that visitors can listen to music while waiting eons for your main text to load. preferably add more graphics and backgrounds, or maybe a flash animation or two so that it is well worth the wait.
3) Don't say stupid stuff onlineas you can see, my blog doesn't have stupid stuff. look at my blog. do i post pictures of alan's hamster and have some stupid captions? do i post entries about my weird dreams? do i kaobeh kaobu about sylvester? of course! anything off this genre would be considered stupid.
4) Don't spill too many beans
obviously don't reveal too much about yourself or people may threaten you with valuable information. for example, if you're married and have herpes or syphilis, of course don't blog about it or people will threaten to tell your wife. but under certain circumstances if you really need to blog about your herpes or syphilis, make it more subtle by implication. like "of late, i have the sudden craving to grow fungi". like that, people also don't know what you talking about, so your information is kept safe.
5) Write well
i simply detest people who use 3 or 4 cheem cheem long words that don't mean anything in one sentence, because it seems so fake you know they probably are trying to pass off as an english guru of some sort. na*eh (paiseh exam time must have good karma so cannot scold vulgarities). these people should be banished to 18th level of hell to copy thesaurus for the rest of their lives.
6) Quality, NOT quantity!
quality what quality, to hell with quality lah. if cambridge really look at quality they won't set a minimum word limit of 500 to gp essays liao lah. therefore, as a form of practise, try to maintain each entry at about 500 - 800 words long. unless you're practising your summary, sky's the limit to quantity.
7) Stretch your creativity
be innovative because there are thousands of people who blog-surf everyday to read a few of the gazillion entries out there in the vast cyberworld. so maybe one day sim wong hoo will chance upon your blog because it's innovative and make you the CEO of creative (no pun intended). if you ripped your design from somewhere, try not to let it show. instead, make as if you designed it and other people kop. you know, like when you copy another person's homework but place your work on top of his, you get the idea.
8) Don't be a copycat
you know i'm positively sickified by the number of blog titles that contain these words: "welcome", "my world", "paradise", "searching"... the list goes on. buay tahan. why cannot come up with something cool like "like the sands of time, these are the days of our lives" or "you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake". here's a good one that will confirm generate many hits: "lovely asian lolita girls right here".
9) Come out of your cocoon
some people keep blogs to tell people what they ate for breakfast, how many times and how many pieces they defecated, how sylvester rocks blah blah. some people keep blogs to pretend they are really mysterious. you know, an alter ego in this cyber realm kind of thing. siao, more like schizo. but anyway, i think the most important reason to keep a blog is to prevent autism.
10) Stay disciplined
you must be disciplined enough to blog frequently, preferably once every public holiday. because during public holidays people will stay at home and be so boliao that they surf the net and then happen to read your blog, so you must always update to keep these people happy. once every deepavali is confirm too long.

wah today damn tiring. hmm woke up like 8am cos my mum wanted me to accompany my niece michelle. oh well we had breakfast n all n i started to rearrange all our mission trip fotos into chronological order. there are 732 fotos if im not wrong so it was quite a task. hmm den left for siliang's farewell party. it started late so i was shooting a few hoops on my own n all. wah kao dey ordered so much food. 6 pizzas, 30 pieces of chicken n like 11 1.5litre bottles of soft drinks. i had four pieces of pizza, a chicken wing, two cans of coke n den i left for tuition. wished him gd luck n all the best in canada. hmm econs tuition passed by quite quickly n den i went back to sch for training. hmm started off real bad cos i was feeling extremely unwell. but i picked up towards the end. oh well had this service thingy n got 2nd behind nicky. den went on to pair up wif sj for doubles. haha think i brought him down. lost the two very last balls. oh well sian diao. den we went forture for dinner. we had alotta laffs abt hwachong life n memories of tchs n all. it was good. hahaha den took bus back which was so damn crowded. haiz now im so bushed!!

haiz... today so tiring. early in the morn woke up pack bag prepare for the entire day so sian. hmmm went to iras, my dad's workplace, to haf breakfast. but wasnt realli satisfied wif the noodles so went to united sq to haf ya kun kaya toast. hmm after dat walked ard united sq, used the toilet to poo poo den went for physics tuition at gradebuilders. onli 5 ppl, me nel wuhui mj n jiale. quite ok lah. not izlim today. some guy called nick sumwat. hahaha ooops. forgot. but hes quite good. we went thru the older chapters which i cant rmb liaoz. oh well. den went to novena sq wif nel n mj to eat. went to adidas factory outlet for a glimpse b4 leaving for mrt ride. i alighted somerset for tuition. wah kao mj go dhoby ghaut sing ktv, nel go marina bowling. wat kinda life am i leading man????? well econs tuition was ok. it was quite interesting today. toked abt the asian financial crisis in 1997. nv realli knew wat happened. hahaha den left for training. which was tiring. plus had physical training. squat against the wall 3 sets of 3 minutes. wah kao can die. haiz den went adam road food centre for dinner b4 coming back home. hahaha my blog entries are getting short man...

CHURCH DAY!! haha er... went to church n did sounds system. think the speaker's msg was good. the incarnation of mission is how God dwells amongst us, which means he pitches his tent ard us. similarly dats wat we do. but we muz live christ-like, so dat our actions do not become wat ppl are aware of, instead, it shld be wat ppl learn frm. hmm den after dat half of 1520 left for choir so it was pretty empty. hmm had bible study, a review of james. den left for lunch. went wif celine to BK firz b4 meeting my bro ys n chuantin to haf a proper meal. den went to beach road army market to look at shoes. the nicest pair was seow hong's hazed nike originals. hahaha den went to peninsular shopping centre. wah kao when crossing the road kena stopped by two traffic police. cos we crossed on red man. haiz. kena given a warning. hmm den went to look ard for shoes. no nice designs! sian diao. so we left for home. den came out again for dinner which was good. den now back at home. hahaha short entry. quite sian lah today. oh well

well today quite ok larh. abit sian oso. was supposed to go training but felt quite sick n coughing like crazy so din go in the end. hmm started off sharing wif my family abt our mission trip. still got lotsa stuff can tok abt but i think we'll juz wait for the fotos to come in firz. hmm den lazed ard at home continue blogging abt mission trip. den went out wif dad to buy chicken rice home for lunch. den lazed ard again b4 leaving for OG orchard to buy my billabong jeans. hmm den oso bought a pair of berms, the adidas jersey we actually wanted to get as our class jersey. nearly got a billabong shirt too. it was black. nice. but no... size... sian diao. oh well den left OG for one shopping centre to find yings. turned out she din change her workplace. so trudged all the way down to the actual place. n orchard road was so damn crowded i nearly puked. ling was working today too so... bought some stuff for them to eat. den went up to meet em. yings was quite sick n seemed realli frail. shld go see a doc man... hmm den it was their dinner break so yings went home n ling n i went to eat at yoshinoya. haha i ate double portion n ling was like shocked. oh well toked abt our invidivual trips to thailand n all den went to zara wif her n den giordano n den stadium n den adidas. hahaha den walked her back upstairs n i went to see the sports section. den walked outta the place to heeren to see flash n splash shirts n jeans. oh well suddenly feel like buying lotsa clothes. not good... hmm den went to OG orchard to get my altered jeans n den walked back to church for my parents to send me home. bathe le now blogging. so tired!!! n still coughing alot. cham. hmm...
argh i haven finished blogging abt the mission trip yet. its taking so long n im racking my brains to rmb everything. plus im like hardly at home so far so... no choice. hmm so shall blog abt today firz. hmm woke up at like 10pm after sleeping at 1am plus laz nite. hmmm went to church area to haf lunch wif my bro. paid for sunday's tea food n realised im too used to thailand's small portions of food. ordered too much n felt like bursting. went to OG n had a look ard at clothes. so expensive compared to thailand! hahhaa ooops went back to church n den went to bukit timah area to buy cakes (omg the choc cake there is heavenly) den went to hougang. den came back home. ling called me in the aftnn. turned out she had gone to phuket. haha me n yings were worried for nuttin. juz slipped my mind sumhow. cant recall her having told me dat. hmm den went home n slacked ard continuing to write my entry on mission trip. den investigated this thing called backmasking. its pretty scary... oh well hmm den went to church again. this time to get the script frm mr lai. haiz kena arrowed to direct a script. well... its a fairly simple script. as in... damn simple. but hope i can do a gd job of it lah. hmm den went to OG again to look at my jeans. hmm levi's were at abt 50 bucks but none my size. sian diao. so i went to look ard. finally saw this pair of billabongs... quite nice n the cutting fits me quite well. but too large. YAY!!!!!!! first time i buy clothes too large can?? den went to bugis junction to look ard. wah biang saw this pair of nike low dunk premiums. so tempted to buy em. but... theres no nid to spend lah... dunno y i keep feeling like buying. hahaha oh well so i went back to church to meet celine n cheryl. toked awhile onli cos my parents were meeting em for dinner. hmm ate this imitation of plaza sing's indonesian riverside bbq. it was ok lah. the only thing dat was better was the curry. other than dat, it loses hands down. its opened by this church member and his wife so... hopefully dey can learn how to do it betta. went to OG to show mum the jeans after dat n den left in a hurry to taka to meet yings. dunno if im allowed to sae anything... hmm so after some waiting we left for OG orchard to see my pair of jeans. yay there dey haf my size so i asked the woman to help me reserve it for a day. hmm mebbe if tmr got time shall go down to buy it. hmm so we walked to dhoby ghaut mrt n we took NEL down to hougang. den we went our seperate ways. haha yings is sucha nice girl to tok to!! hahaha we hardly know each other but... we juz can click lah i guess. yea we toked abt all sorts of stuff... both laffing n poor me getting hit n pushed ard. oh well wats new. henpecked me. hmmm... apparently i haf wrecked the NEL. i leaned on the sliding doors of the train n when it moved forward, my inertia forced the door open. wah kao damn scary lah. oh well den when i held onto the steel pole, it jerked loose. oh my goodness. 2nd december (thursday)
well, its the kickoff point of our mission trip. slept onli at 12+am cos was discussing wif jingmin abt missions. shes goin china on 5th dec (sun) so... i'll pray 4 her! den wake uip @4.30am feeling kinda nervous. waited till 5 n woke the rest of the familu up. bathed, did some final packing n we were off to the airport. reached @6.05am to find chuan tin ernest n john. yansing arrived nxt den jovan n jianwei. mr lai arrived last and den we began to queue up for check-in. wah kao took so long lah. haiz so we got my dad to ta-pao BK breakfast for us cos we havent ate yet. we came out wif harly any time to eat so we had to bring it in wif us. there were so many ppl to send us off! hahaha got pastor tan, andre, celine n fam, everybody's mum or dad or both. realli appreciated it esp. celine n fam cos celine wasnt even goin in the end. took a pic wif everyone n so... it was a hug for mum n dad n we were into the immigration checkpoint. walked straight to our row which was ROW ONE for dat matter. damn far lah. skipped looking at all the nice shops. ate my breakfast b4 boarding the plane. hmm... plane took off at 820am it was a damn small plane. only six columns and ard 25 rows. well nuttin much happened on the way there juz dat breakfast on the plant wasnt too good. a baby was crying so i cldnt sleep and i got a stiff nick frm trying. reached chiangmai thailand and was first to get out of the customs so i was like trying to haul every single bag of our team's out. turned out i nearly forgot abt my own. which was a super impt bag cos it contained all my underwear. ooooooops. hahahaha but we got it n den met tee outside the airport. he got us this truck-like vehicle which was red in colour. its called a song-taeao n a vital mode of our transportation in thailand. it cld contain all 11 of us n all our baggage too so it was cool. so we reached our guest house. its called the green lodge. shifted in and found the place pretty ncie and comfy. sleeping wif me were ern and jianwei. well our room, 406, was appointed to be the meeting room. hahaha oh well juz dat our room is the messiest. hmm den we set off at 12pm. oh btw thailand has a time lag of one hour. n den left to change money and have lunch. changed 50 bucks and got 1188 baht. felt rich. hahahha the exchange rate was 23.77. hmm went to this cosy little restaurant for lunch. on the way there saw damn lots of temples. as well as poor people selling traditional thai accessories. saw a man who was lame of leg and was riding a bicycle. it was modiefied so that his hands cld pedal instead but... juz had to pray for him la. well reached the restaurant. ratana's kitchen. haven of good food. it had CNN on the tv. had a realli good lunch and spent like onli 2 sgbucks. can u believe it??????????????? the fried rice i ate was like frm ding tai feng. cost onli 30 baht. omg. the fanta orange i drank was 10 baht. so it was onli 40 baht for my lunch. horribeeble. it was fantastic. on our way back we started buying ministry stuff, like scissors, mahjong paper and a molten soccer ball. baught many bottles of drinking water for consumption too. have i mentioned how cheap things here all are??? scissors for 50cents, soccer ball for $1+, drinking water one bottle 20cents. siao boh??? we returned to green lodge for a break b4 setting off for the central market of chiangmai. walked there past a sch. saw all the small little thai children, eating roadside food, playing games and shouting. they are no diff frm our kids. juz dat cos of their family background and environment, they are abit scrawnier and dirtier, but God loves em all the same. reached the market and tee gave each pair of us a list of 5 items to purchase. juz dat the list was in thai. n we din noe wat the items actually were. smart. i was wif ernest. well we went t ask a fruit stall auntie wat the items were and she gave us a rough idea of wat we had to buy. so we went to buy the yar-dom, sai-uwer, kar-nom-pang, nama-plao and wee. well if ur wondering wat those are, they are inhaler, a type of local sausage filled wif spices dat tastes real good, biscuits, coconut and bamboo fan. turned out the sausage cost us 20 baht when we were given a budget of 50 baht, and so destroyed our balance. haiz and turned out we were supposed to buy nam-plao, no nama-plao, which was mineral water. and wee had different pronunciations and we were supposed to get a comb -_-" oh well but everyone had fun. ern n i were laffing all the way. walked back to green lodge and left for dinner. we took the song-taeao to a shpping centre. central airport centre. i think. ate the northern thai food dere. wah kao rox lah. dey had all sorts of food. ate fried rice agfain and had this coconut drink which were both OH SO GOOD! the rest went to buy some other foods, like john bvought prawn paste crackers, tee bought mango wif sticky rice and my bro some sorta banana dessert. wah biang all tasted damn good lah. think im gonna fatten up instead of slimming down. well walked around the shopping centre and din spend any cash. think the night bazaar wld be more worth it. plus the souvenirs. think something more thai is a betta choice. took the song-taeao back n we had a debrief and i went to sleep shortly after. now its actually the nxt day already. woke up at 7am n preparing for devotion.
3rd december (friday)
well devotion was fine. liping led with a scripture frm isaiah and john aded in stuff abt facts and truth. are they diff? yes of cuz. facts are information given to us by our receptive 5 senses but truth involves the spiritual dimension, to get into contact wif God and understanding his will. dats TRUTH. well we had a fantastic breakfast of glutinous rice and pork. everything came frma a pig. we had sai-uwer again, 2 types of pork chop, some pork luncheon meat and deep fried pig's skin. it was excellent to start off the day. we then set off to walk ard the city. went to the reconstructed remaining wall of the lana kingdom, which is chiangmai b4 it was renamed. thought abt how the thais can actually value sumthin so much, despite its temporal nature. plus its such a miniscule monument compared to some in the world. the eternal kingdom of God is waiting for them. we den went to two enormous buddhist temples. did prayer walkes there and saw many things. its an onslaught at the first temple, as it was the first temple built in chiangmai. was all red n gold. there was this buncha singapore UWC kids copying the art on the paper there. there was another annex in the compound so i went to take a look. there were 32 pics of the buddha's life. alot of em looked quite... eerie. 2nd temple was ard that kinda design n layout too. but there was monk giving showers of blessings. made me think abt how fair our salvation is, n how unfair it can actually be or become. had lunch at this roadside kopitiam and ate the best beef noodles of my life. went back to green lodge b4 heading up towards doi suthep temple. it was half an hr ride on the song-taeao and i nearly puked. after climbing a flight of 306 stairs, i reached the top and gazed down at the city of chiang mai. it was beautiful, the way the sun was setting and all. walked ard to see the bagazilions of bells there. then went to sit outside the main temple area cos i was in berms and was disallowed in. i saw this security guard bowing to a monk and when the monk removed his shoes, the guard bowed again b4 he cld pick up his shoes and keep em at a rack. reminded me of matthew 3:11, where the scripture says that john the baptist had said that after him shall come a person whose sandals im unfit to carry. hmm...
well dats the end of my journal. cos i din haf time for the rest of the days and etc. so now i'll try to recall everything dat happened n hence, alot shorter.
hmm after climbing down the long flight of stairs we took song-taeao to dinner at this place which has steak buffet for onli 59 baht. dats like... 2.50 sing????? wah kao damn shuang. hahahaha there was chicken steaks, pork steaks, beef steaks n fish steaks n we nearly died. hahaha well we met another mission team frm ywam there. had quite little interaction wif em to be honest, tho we were supposed to share abt our experiences. hmmm onli toked to gloria and amy. haha we played alotta games tho. like big picture, around the world in 80 days, fuzzy wuzzy, 1st location, hahaha all the lame games lah. realli racked my brains man. hahaha the funniest thing was the trip back. we din get a song-taeao so we juz hitched a ride on the other mission team's pickup. problem is, it was supposed to contain 10 ppl n we had 19. hahaha it was soooooo funny. i sat on my bro's lap n nearly crushed him. n den he wanted to sae dat i was sitting on his water pouch, but he said instead: ur gonna burst my water bag!! hahahaha it's sooooooo misleading. hahaha well it was a damn funny trip back n it took quite long. when we reached green lodge, there was no more blood in my butt n legs. hahaha so we had our debrief n went to sleep.
4th december (saturday)
hmm went to first church of chiangmai. attended this sermon by a gospel outreach plan called "bless thailand". it was good. the praise was realli good. n den the sermon was quite useful. it touched on unity. n dats the greatest point we had to tok abt these few days. juz seemed like God was highlighting it to us again. hmm dey prayed for our mission trip to be safe n everything, den we went back to green lodge. n den went to carrefour for lunch. bought stuff for the orphanage. the carrefour there is like... HUGE! after changing n all we came back to the church to play soccer wif the youngsters. dey had this sports club thingy whereby they played soccer every saturday n use it as a method to spread the gospel. dats where tee first experienced the word of God. amazing isnt it? singapore seldom has this kinda outreach methods. hmm den soccer was ok. din score any cos the goal was soooo puny. but my team mate nick scored this amazing goal. he slid in frm no where to recieve horn's pass n juz cheonged it in. wah biang damn zai. hmm after dat dey prayed for us, wif ben praying for us in english. it was quite touching since dey were realli inconfident of their english. we prayed for their studies n everything too. den we left to change n for dinner. the teens were supposed to meet us but in the end we din lah. so we went to the night bazaar alone. hmm... there were so many things to buy!!!!!!! but i onli bought a bracelet and a choker and also a traditional thai shirt. all for damn cheap. the choker cost 180 baht, which is 7.50 sg, bracelet 20 baht, hardly 70cents, n thai shirt for 140 baht, 5.80 sg. wah kao damn shuang. hahahha but it was late n we nided to do debrief so we left for green lodge back home n den had our debrief. we did a prayer, me n jianwei wif ernest dat i guess realli calmed us down alot. slept n woke up for another new day.
5th december (sunday)
hmm went to first church of chiangmai. we were late cos tee rmbed the time wrongly. it started at 9am instead of 930am. so we went to the english section. the pastor spoke in thai, but the church was high-tech, so we got headphones which gave us immediate translation into english. zai rite??? hahaha oh well had communion there. they reallied used bread n not biscuit. hmm otherwise its pretty much the same as ours here in sg. eh... den after service we went to the history room to hang ard n look at how the first missionary came to chiangmai. it took him 3 months by boat, foot n elephant. n we take three hrs by plane or car. wat the... hahahaha thank God. oh well hmm den we went to the youth area to hang ard till it was lunch. wah kao ate green curry n it burnt my throat seriously. had a serious cough after dat. hmm den we had worship n sharing n all dat stuff. it was fun!! the songs dey sang were kiddish but realli brings out the true nature of God.

hmm den we went to their cell grps n there was this 17 yr old gal called som. som means orange in thai. well shes goin on this mission trip to australia but she felt inconfident as she thinks her relationship wif God is unstable. its so amazing. dat here i am in singapore n i experienced the exact same thing as a girl all the way in thailand, 3 hrs flight n 505 bucks away. so i shared wif her. glad it was of help to her. hmm den we prayed for one another. its heartwarming to see ppl of a thorough different background praying for u wif all their heart. den we left. but took three pics wif som, two on her hp n one on lipings cam. not given to me yet so... oh well. shall always keep her in my prayers. hmm den we went back to green lodge. n ernest suffered frm a high fever. so we left him to rest in the room while we left to buy stationery and haf dinner. wah kao we ate like siao lidat, dun even noe wat we ordered le. kept thinking we wld exceed the budget but in the end turn out we were still underbudget. crazy. 10 ppl eat like 6 course meal onli 40 bucks. its nuts. ta-paoed porridge back for ernest n we trudged back to green lodge. had our debrief n it was conk out time
6th december (monday)
well early in the morn after devotion we left for chiang rai. wah kao all squashed into the song-taeao wif the luggage so it was realli uncomfortable. ate breakfast on the way summore. hahaha we cld onli use bread pieces to dig out jam to consume. but we stopped by a petrol station so i got a sausage and a milo. the trip took realli long. we stopped halfway for lunch at this fantastic place. they had the world's best roasted pork rice. omg. it was too damn tasty. den left for a marketplace to buy meats n vege for the villagers. continued travelling, eating oranges on the way. everyone was having fun throwing the biodegradable waste (orange peel n seeds) directly outta the song-taeao. hahaha damn shuang. oh well there were many sights n sounds on the way there, n the scenery was absolutely beautiful. saw lotsa cows and buffaloes along the way. well reached the village quite quite late. expected 12pm turned out we reached like 3pm. we reached the orphanage n din noe dat it was actually the orphanage. we were still thinking wah kao, the pastor has so many children arh??? well there were 7 kids there, the rest were at sch i think. my bro took a liking to this boy called norse. hmm... first thing we did was a walk ard the village n a briefing by pastor tee. hmm den we played soccer wif the villagers. hahaha scored a goal n had two assists. oh well but i missed a whole lotta chances so... too bad. sian diao den we had dinner which was still fantastic. den had a campfire. had to share my testimony as well as do lotsa performances. it was quite fun n tiring. not to mention nerve wrecking. hmm den it ended n we gathered ard the campfire for warmth b4 having our short debrief part one. den we were paired up to go to seperate villager's houses to spend the nite. went wif ernest to this hse which had tv. so we watched till 10pm n dey den set out two mattresses, bedsheet, blanket, pillows n mosquito net for us. damn zai lah. den dey even poured out cups of hot chinese teh for us n also gave me a packet of tissue cos they saw dat i had flu. so i slowly drifted off to sleep...
7th december (tuesday)
well so ernest n i woke up at the mercy of the roosters. they were crowing at the top of their lungs in their offtune voices every 5 min or so which realli pissed me off. roosters are the worst animals on earth. tried to chase em away frm behind my head but dey nv realli did move. haiz so exasperated, ern n i woke up packed up everything dey gave us n we left for the church building. turned out we were the earliest n we were in sucha hurry to pee. it was so cold mist was rising frm our pee. ooops. hmm we left the toilet to see tee coming out wif urgency too. hahaha well we sat in the room feeling cold like shit. n tee came back asking us to go out for a walk too. ERPZ so we were like freezing n all n waiting for the others to return. turned out the rest had breakfast already so ern n i were like -_-" well we started doing some balloons. hahaha onli rmbed how to make dogs so i was like... making many dogs. erpz hahaha we had our debrief for the previous day n den we set off for the nxt village. well took a van n truck down everything n saw the banner dey made to welcome us. WELL COME YWAME'S AND SINGAPORE LIVES CHURCH to zion hill! hahaha poor spelling but it made me feel alot betta. we stopped by marketplaces n all dat to buy food for the village. had lunch hmm den we juz conked out n travelled all the way to the non-christian village. well there was this sign dat greeted us which said: ATTENTION PLEASE! WE DON'T WANT NEW RELIGION. quite initimidating. we were told not to do anything until pastor tee's father was back cos he was the onli one who knew the villagers well. hmm we started playing wif the puppies n all. dey had this pair of stilts which everyone tried to master but to no avail. well pastor tee's father returned and we went to the village head's compound. prepared the dinner wif em. cut beef for the first time in my life n i my i hate tendons! damn tough lah. the blade juz cldnt severe it. well played wif the catapult too. den went to bathe at the waterfall! it was freezing can. hahaha but it was damn funny. cos the guys bathed firz n the girls were like: can we come in now?? n we were like NO!!!!!!!! DON'T! n i was struggling wif my underwear n all dat. erpz. hmm den went back to the village head's place to get back two torches. on my way back, which was damn far btw, i heard this strange chanting. the voice din realli sound human. spooked me out. realli struck a nerve. hmm den hurried back n waited for the girls for like a million years. walked back wif yansing half tearing off my arm. well we reached in peace n had a great dinner. the beef i sliced was damn good. cant help it. im juz good. hmm den there was this campfire which dey set up for us. a few of us wanted to sleep at firz but we decided to join in. n things began to change. we started singing songs of praise n worshipped. n the thing was dat we made them worship wif us. hahaha got a kick. hmm we sang millions of songs n created actions n all dat. yea by the time it ended i was bushed. but turned out it was freezing n i cldnt sleep. i talked in my dream, something ard the lines of: YOU CALL THIS PIECE OF SHIT COKE???!!! and i dreamt abt the trip on the song-taeao whereby yansing got scratched by a tree branch. so i said in my dream: yansing lean over. hahaha when yansing was sleeping nxt to me. so she got a shock n i heard john laffing so i woke up. oh well. went wif my bro to toilet n came back freezing. liping borrowed my torch n went ard whacking the roosters. who happened to be crowing at 2am. wat the. tee said once: IN JESUS' NAME SHADDUP. n the amazing thing was dat the roosters diam diamed! hahaha but onli for abt 2 hrs b4 dey came back at it. oh well we started a fire at ard 4am cos it was realli too cold. i got abit of warmth n went back to sleep.
8th december (wednesday)
well woke up at 7am lidat n played soccer, badminton n volleyball. while waiting for the song-taeao dat is. well it came at 1130am so we went downhill. chuantin handed the baby a mangosteen. i believe the mangosteen is the seed of God planted in this village. it wld grow sumday! hmm it was a long trip down. had lunch at this roadside stall which was hell good. dey have the best roasted pork in the world. n i ate basil leaf wif pork on rice. wah kao it was magical. not to mention the buffalo soup. too salty tho it was still damn good. oh well continued on our way to new life centre. its a christian centre dat saves young girls out frm prostitution n other sleazy businesses. well the driver works there so we got another van n we went all the way back to chiangmai green lodge. hmm had an hr of rest b4 we started sharing. hmm well it was our last debrief ever so it lasted frm 5pm to 930pm. hahaha shuang not??? well we den went out for dinner, all of us starving. oh well we walked to one buffet outlet n dey had already closed down. so we took a song-taeao to the nxt buffet venue. it was sumthin like seoul garden but there was no marination. oh well sian diao. but we had a good meal. den we walked back to night bazaar. but all the shops closed le. i juz bought some accessories for the ppl who prayed for me for quite ex price den walked back to green lodge. oh well my bro was in a hurry to shit. n we conked out. realli short day
9th december (thursday)
well woke up and had a time of devotion. left green lodge at 845am for the airport. well we settled customs n all dat den bought some food back for 1520. den we bid tee gdbye n we boarded the plane for home sweet home. reached singapore 3pm. yeapz

hmm yea den sent em all off n den went back to packing. finish packing le now blogging. well its thursday now. so today im flying off at 815am flight no. MI 702. coming back on the 9th on MI 701 probably reach ard 3pm. so... all out there. ADIOS!
