Today was a crazy day. Like the BA-BOOM-POW kinda crazy. Okay maybe not really ba-boom-pow, but it was a crazy day. Woke up to a red sky, and right before Mom and I left the house, it poured hippopotamuses and woolly mammoths. I wore slippers to school, so that my shoes won't get wet and I'll haveta end up with 3 hours of freezing feet again. Math ended and the Arts students were suddenly very much filled with life and all making plans to head to town and Hip Places Where Students Hang Out. While the Science children made their way to mug for their remaining papers...
Anyway.
Outing with Zitian Phyllis & Tubs. Tabitha I love calling you Tubs by the way. It's such a round-sounding and cute name. Tubby! HAHAHAHA. Anyway. I went out with three liars. Who, apparently, have been lying to me since August. WTH. But hahahhahahahahaha ohman. I'm glad I didn't suspect anything too, anyway. That's how surprises roll. Anyway, (this is the third anyway in three paragraphs; I should cut down on my 'anyway's) - anyway, had a good meal at Fish & Co. at Ion! Their prices are quite (I was about to type 'exuberant' - -") pricey the seafood pasta was okay I guess. I mis-read their menu and thought, "Wahey! The drinks are so cheap!" - pointed out to them that WAO it's $1.95 for blended fruity ice drinks! To which, WAHEY they're $7.95. I think the font is purposely printed that way to fool people into buying 'em. *squinting eyes*
(:
Anyway. Thank you for the Instax you guys! And the Rilakkuma film! So funny! I like! To teammates who are reading this, thank you for the gift too! I am quite impressed at how the Friends of the
ZooTeam managed to mobilise all of you to get the gift but thank you! Love it very much, and it is going to be awesome for capturing memories with special people! Nothing beats tangible, developed photos that you can hold and see. Thank you all of you! Tho my birthday's not here yet, haha. But wahey! (:
We are bringing Tubs to see more places in the world and she is well on her way to becoming a seasoned explorer. Okay on second thoughts, maybe not. Do you think so, Feefee and Phang? Okay maybe if the world were a toilet Tubs would be king of the planet. Okay don't keel me plis.
Watched Johnny English. Not a fantastical BA-BOOM-POW kinda movie, I must say. It is hard to sit through painfully common sense-less action. But, Rowan Atkinson is still quite genius. The wheelchair scene was my favourite. It's atrocious and ridiculous but quite cool if it were brought from reel to real. And the English accent is rather sexy, I must say! Would love to go to UK one day.
Visited gran and the niece after. She is fat as ever, naughty as a bumblebee but cute as a button and hyper like a hyena. I think she will grow up to be a good-looking sumo wrestler. Okay I'm kidding. I hope not. Anyway, it dawned upon me that parenting is beyond important and it really takes commitment. And a truckload of (rechargeable) energy. Crawling and entertaining the baby for one hour and I was like, "Here. Take your baby back." Kath is like a plush toy to my cousin. Haha. Anyway, I think it's important to teach a child well when he/she's young - instilling what's right/wrong and the need to obey to authoritative instructions. Before the kid grows up into a Tiny Terror like those nightmares in SuperNanny. So yes. I hope Kath doesn't become too naughty. :( She plus the dog together can tear the house down. Just now, one (the baby) was ferociously tearing tissue out of the tissue box while the other (the dog) was happily transporting strips and bits of tissue around the house.
Have I said I wanted four kids and a dog?
Anyway, I'm glad Prelims are over. A levels are coming in around 46/47 days, if I remember correctly. Are we ready for it? Heck, no. But hopefully we will be, by then. All the best to those still having papers! Hang in there, almost over already (: The Arts children will be having... let me see... a six-day holiday ahead of us. HAHA. But anyway, it is time to study. Playing is for the 8 month hula-hula-banana-break after the A levels! Playing plus a great deal of gleeful and delightful plans. I've been wanting to post about The Post A's Plan for a long time now, it's been sitting in my dashboard for ages. Will get about doing so one of these days. For now, though, press on. It's Friday tomorrow!
Chow now, brown cow.
(Oh yeah. A clown fish.) (Haha.)
