Famille.

Photos from trip to Singapore Flyer with family and from many, many visits to Kathlyn's. And her one-month celebration! She officially turns a month old tomorrow.

Photo spam. Hahahaha call me a vain aunt. Whatever. :D

Anyway, flyer photos first!

We went to the flyer at night (thanks to tickets given to us by dad's friends)!
Taken from the ground, edited for exposure.
I think this shot is quite abstract. And rather cool. Haha!

Family (:
Oh yeah yes, in case you were wondering. That's my dad wearing my school shirt, yes.

Hello, I love you,
Papa and Mama. :D

Oh and so the Flyer just went one round... and that was it. At an incredible speed too, I must add. Can't really be bothered to add shots we took from atop the flyer. If you insist... go to Google and type in "Singapore night skyline". Meh (: But it was really rather nice just hanging out and spending time doing nothing with my parents. We should do this more often. But no more Singapore flyer. Once is enough haha.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOKAY photos of/with my baby niece! Say hello to little (now less little) baby Kathlyn hehe.

At her one-month old party! (27th Nov 2010)

My dad kept saying, "I used to carry Lineng (my cousin) just like this last time! Now she has a baby of her own!"

Okay Kath's yawning face is just epic man. Look at that.

Mom :D

Okay this... was the first time in my life carrying a baby.
And that baby is YOU, my little baby niece!
Man, but she has a really grouchy/frowny face...

Smile lah :D

Cupcakes!!! :D :D :D
Which I never got to eat ):

The jealous little dog who keeps attempting to bite people - -"
Older siblings (the dog) take time to adjust to the shared attention...

Kath wearing her little pink onesie that her parents bought for her...
Guess baby. One month old and she's wearing branded clothes. (Y)
That's her, half asleep. Hahahaha (:

CUTE BOH, HER DRESS?!?!
Ridiculously cute lah!
Oh and she's really tall/long for her age (er, one month). And she has lots and lots of hair.
Super nice to pat her head. Like petting a furry chinchilla.

Hehehe ballerina.
*melts into a puddle*

Second time in my life carrying a baby. And it's you again, hahaha!
Eh it's so scary to carry a baby lah! They're like vulnerable pieces of tofu.
I think I won't dare to carry my own kid next time ._.

Hahahahahah I love her chubby, scrunched up face!

Anyway, I can't wait for you to grow up, Kath!
Next time when you're older Xiaoen yi-yi will play with you ALL DAY LONG okay :D
(Think see-saws, slides, swings and swimming pools. And all things fun and fun. Marshmallows, cartoons, stuffed animals, more cartoons, Sesame street, songs, dance, games...)
Grow up quickly! And healthily (:

Dear God, thank you for my family. (:

popcorn and maple leaves.

Am really bored and sleepy - -"

Anyway. This is from Steph's blog - will get about posting these if I'm free and bored enough the next couple of days!

Day One: Ten things about yourself.
Day Two: Nine things you want to say to nine different people right now.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession

Quite cool right. Hahaha! But so time-consuming. Time which should and can be better spent clearing the pile of holiday homework. Inertia is soooooooooooo great! ): So much homework to do. ):

Anyway the past week has flown by in a whiz! Church children's camp was really, really, really good. Praise God! I thoroughly enjoyed myself as much as the children did! Thank God the fever on Day 1 of camp subsided really quickly (after 13 hours of sleep). And for His perfect, absolutely perfect, timing over the weather. Some seeds have been planted; now it's up to Him to decide when he wants them to grow and flower and bloom. Need to keep praying.

Group Helium! (:
From left to right - Eryn, Rhean, Klein, Thaddeus & Daryl (:

Caught up with Huili Cherynn and Charmaine on Thursday. Laughed so much until my stomach hurt. I love my friends! :D Hee. And baking was funnnnn (: I wanna learn how to bake more professionally man.

Okay I'm off. I think I shall head to bed early today. It's my baby niece's one-month birthday celebration tmrw!!! :D Really wish I had a camera at hand to capture bits and pieces of my life now... Should I attempt the Sitex fair again this year? Last year's experience was rather traumatic. Crowds are insane. Anyone knows any good buys for cameras?

Oh and there's pre-camp special tmrw! I'm excited! :D

Okay goodbye (:
Xiaoen you need to train a lot harder. Oh, and study too.

Salut!

CCA Leaders' Camp 2010

Back from camp! :D Was a rather well-spent two days; personally had quite a few takeaways from the camp. And I think it was really quite nice for all the CCA leaders to come together and get to know one another/share stuff. To share problems/issues/find out more about what each other do. It was nice especially hearing from the pres and vice-pres(es) of the clubs and societies, cos they're usually quite low profile. And from the other sports teams also; learnt quite a lot from the other capts and vice-capts.

I think the best part was all the friendships formed! (: I bet everyone else has added everyone else on Facebook already hahahahaha. I'm too cool for Facebook. Meh. :D Hahahaha!

First day was basically workshops and workshops. And breaks. And workshops. Tea breaks. Food. More food. Workshops. Breaktime. Food. Lunchtime. More workshops. :D All the way till 3 plus! It was a little zzz, honestly. But I managed to stay awake the whole time! :D SMS-ing kept me rather awake HAHAHA. But the talks were quite useful also. Got a few takeaways from the one on leadership style and communication ways. Tab and I have rather similar consensus on many things. Loved talking to her the whole time. (: And Huili was very entertaining. First aid workshop made me squirmmmmmmm. I don't like blood D: Meh. On a sidenote, I wanna renew my certification! Refresher course, batchmates?

First aid course hahahaha :D
"How about that shy boy over there?"
Epic.

Zongxian and Yinhong
Hahaha! (:

Taken during one of the MANY breaks :D
Unice, Tab, Dione, Sijia (:
I learnt that Unice's name is spelt 'Unice', without an 'e' in front. It's not a joke!

Okay I'm getting bored anyway hahahahaha after that we finally got into our groups and played games/icebreakers!!! :D Funnnnnnnnnnnnn :D Our group totally owned the giant skipping rope thing lah. Cool ttm. (H) OH AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH LOKE XIU QI YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY :D So fun, it was her birthday! Tab and I sang her our jazz version birthday song hah! :D

Huuuuuuuuuuuge kudos to the OAC instructors!!! Wow they really helped out so much at camp! And yall were awesome! :D Hahahahaha our group kept niao-ing our poor soft-hearted facilitator. The guys, rather. Zzz. Hahahaha :D Eh but the games were seriously quite fun. And our group's teacher - Miss Lum! She's so funny and motherly (Y).

Group TWO with Isa (on the left)! :D
Funnnnnnnnnnn :D

Many-legged race :D
31 seconds hahahahaha :D

SWOT analysis and sports periodisation at night. Mr Rameshon was super duper funny lah hahahhahahahahaha. (See how long the 'hahahahaha' is - seriously. :D) Was quite fun (: Handstand shoulder stand and plough stand! And Unice. (Y) SWOT analysis was really a good time for all of us to stop and think and discuss stuff. Trashed out some issues, together with the guys' team. I think we reached a rather firm consensus on quite a few issues. And many of the weaknesses are actually, really, opportunities/chances. Really want to lead the team to achieve something - though first for us to come together and really become a close-knitted, disciplined team.

Oh at this point can I add how thankful I am that Tab is our vice-captain (: I think our five years of friendship has really come a long way (: Incredibly. Thank God.

(Well but Pam, we might still end up having a huge fight/quarrel one day... So you must be there to mediate k. :D Hahahahaha! :D)

Okay I should go off to bathe soon :D Anyway I'M ALIVE FROM HEIGHT ELEMENTS HAHAHAHA. During height elements, I've learnt that... I've got a really loud voice - -" Man, so embarassing. Hmmm but I'm really glad I conquered the rockwall! (My arms are still aching D: So loser D: ) Clung on for dear life. But I really wanted to reach the top sooooooo bad! Really need this kind of mentality for our tounament next year man! And seriously fight it out and believe that anything's possible! Even conquering a wall with a severe phobia for heights! :D

Okay hahahhaha photos for the rest of this post. THANKS, Esther and Yinuo! And Sensorium Vale! Photographers were awesome at camp! Two whole days of covering the event! And so many of the shots were O: ! Gorgeous, gorgeous shots. Especially at the adventure centre at Changi. The planes flew soooooo near it was sooooooo loud and soooooooo cool. Ah, long-term goal = DSLR :D I think being a photographer is a super awesome job 'cos you capture so many people's memories!

Tyanquan :D :D :D

Group photos!

Chunhui and Yanping (:

Jokers.
Gorgeous shot do you see the aeroplane in the background!!!

After the trebuchet!
With our super-minimalistic, ultimate catapult hahahaha :D

Meh.

Is a very funny word.

I have nothing to blog about - -"
Away at camp from Mon to Tues! (:

To all my awesome seniors still in the midst of A's...
PRESS ON :D

Whose wisdom is my perfect peace.

And so... today marks the end of PW. OP today was... quite an experience! (: Only two words - Thank God. As usual, I left house feeling like I forgot to bring something. Some days I get this feeling. Every time, it proves to be correct. T_T

So... I panicked when I realised I forgot to bring my entry proof and NRIC in the morning. (!!!) Like whoaaaaa man. Seriously, how stupid can anyone get right. I just keep challenging the boundaries man.

Aiyah but it turned out in the end that... don't need - -" Sorry papa. - -" My father's ever-resourceful and ever-dependable. Like woahhhh. Hahahahaha. :D

(Hi papa I know you're reading this.)

(Yah my dad reads my blog.) (Regularly.) (Maybe every day.)

(Quite cool right.)

(Oh my mom too.) (Less regularly.)

Anyway. PW OP went quite well! (: I'm so happy! Still spoke very fast, I think. Didn't hear the bell. But fortunately it was rather fluent... I think! Gosh really need to make a conscious effort to slow down when I'm nervous. Q&A was my greatest fear/worry. But thank God the question wasn't too out of the blue! And we prepared for it beforehand already. Hope my answer was coherent enough. Hopefully the A's within reach!

This whole year of doing PW has been quite an experience. Well at least we're all still alive (I think) and friendships haven't been broken down too much. Yet. Hahaha! (: It's awful to see people fall out over one-time incidents! Anyway, I think my group has been the most wonderful and tolerant group and I want to thank them for everything! Especially Huiyao and Zhijing (: Jerome and I... have been quite slack. Ah sorry. ): But thank you, thank you, thank you (: For making PW bearable and enjoyable (:

Really (:

Moving on... (PW's now a thing of the past muhahahahahha.) (Okay sorry people-who-still-have-OP...) (Jiayou. :D) My appetite has been quite cui over the past few days. - -" Haven't been finishing my meals and haven't been feeling hungry. (Tabby and Phyllis will be like, "Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?! Don't bluff lah!") Hahahaha :D

Holidays are here! Holidays are here! Holidays are f-i-n-a-l-l-y here! :D It's been a long year. I have lots of things to say about this year. But that'll be another time. But really, it's been a long year. So many people, so many things have happened, so many takeaways...

Watched The Social Network today! It's a rather intelligent show. The dialogue that is. Okay maybe not intelligent, more witty. Anyway that Mark guy whoever he is is quite clever. And it's the I'm-really-smart-but-it's-all-in-brain-nope-I-can't-really-be-bothered-to-boast-my-intelligence-just-let-me-sit-here-and-programme-codes kinda clever. Which is quite cool.

The movie's rather one-sided though. In a movie there definitely has to be protagonists and antagonists. Plus conflict/climax. And sex. - -" The West is rather wild. Quite terrifying. One of the reasons why I don't wanna go overseas. Anyway yeah, I think the story should be taken with a pinch of salt.

It is time to draw up a holiday plan. There's homework to be done. And a lot, a lot of catching up to be done. And I think we need to sort some stuff out as a team. Some things are not working and I just think everyone (note: every one) in the team should be putting in some effort to make things work.

We're not a team, yet.

Okay I should be off to bed.

When parents quarrel, the children suffer. Mostly in silence.
Open up your view...? Isn't that what relationship's about?

Oh! I went for YF on Saturday! Frisbee in the morning too. Milestone (: And it was pretty alright actually. Hahaha (: Thank you Shaowen + Nng + Deborah + Danlee + every single friendly person for not making me feel lonely but very much welcomed (: Off to a good start! Hopefully! I think age has inevitably brought with it a certain degree of self-assurance. Hahaha (:

People drink more water and eat vitamins (fruits and veggies!) (Pamela!) there's a flu bug going around man and the weather is just... - -" Don't fall sick!

Oh and people taking A's, I'm keeping all of you in prayer (: Study hard! (:

Salut.

PS, the spam on the tagboard's really annoying. What's your problem man, get a life. Who will create robots to spam lah, seriously?! - -"

Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!

Happy last-day-of-school, yall! :D Oh and since it's past 12, Happy Deepavali! Especially to those who celebrate this festival - Evelyn Tan, Sandy Png...

Today (okay technically yesterday but aiyah) was a pretty good day! Okay not the entire day, but... Dialogue in the morning. What else can I say? Always an entertainment. And now we bend to pick up the broken pieces... Gotta work doubly hard man. If we don't produce results it ain't gonna look too good. And how're we gonna face the seniors... and Ourselves?

Anyway. PW discussion/rehearsal went quite well! I think our group's quite ready. Slides still need a bit of polishing though. And I need to speak slower x100000000! I speak really fast when I'm nervous - -"

Gathering with batchies and Miss Teng after school!! :D Hahaha the "Is Miss Teng getting married!!! !!! O: " frenzy was epic lah. Anyway, was really nice to just sit and talk (and gossip) and talk and laugh and do nothing for hours to just catch up. College life has been quite journey really; was great to just be able to catch up with everyone else's lives.

And there and then, I abandoned Wannqin and pulled out as joint stakeholder of our Lor Mee plan. We wanted to set up a Lor Mee stall in Sec 1 / 2 and franchise it around the world... It's somewhere in my blog archives I think... Speaking of blog archives, hahahaha Sec 1 writing is so... Sec 1. It's so funny lah!

And Sarah and I kinda non-officially sealed a deal about our concept shop :D With a high-five! Hahahaha. Yup, opening a blogshop after A's doesn't sound like too bad an idea! Hold on to your dreams baby. Sarah I wanna see your pencil case!!! :D

Mm we'll work out our business plan along the way... Jot down ideas! And shopping trip to cool shops this coming hols still holds. (Y)

Mooooooooooooo okay hitting the sack. (:

A levels (PW included) start next week! We can do it! :D

Gooooooooooooooooooo, Lim Niocole and Sandy Png! <3
(and any other J2 reading this hahaha maybe Gail)

PS/ The title is so irrelevant hahaha but nyehhhhhh don't care hehehe I love Christmas! Smell it in the air already? :D

Salut!

Welcome to the world, baby girl.

Babies are the best thing ever. Better than marshmallows, fluffy clouds and double rainbows.

I'm an aunt! I'm an aunt! Xiaoen is an aunt! I love love love my baby niece to bits.
*bursts into little droplets of fairy dust and morning dew*

People who know me know how much I absolutely adore little children. <3 Wow, this has been quite an experience man! It's my first time experiencing a birth in the family. Our family's rather small you see. Now I'm no longer the youngest in the house! :D Little Baby Kathlyn/Kaylyn (not confirmed yet cos people can't seem to pronounce Kathlyn very well) was born yesterday at around 4:30pm! We celebrated her ONE-DAY OLD BIRTHDAY just now! With a little cupcake! She slept through our whole "Happy birthday to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" song... Too cute.

Woah my cousin (I'm an only child so my cousins are like my older sisters to me) took a grand total of... 20 minutes... to give birth to Baby K (: Kool or what.

My mom took 3 days to get me out. - -" By C-section some more. But that's another story. :D

Anyway! My macbook's dying and I left the charger in school! (Dang!) So the rest of this post will be mainly (low-res) photos! PW beckons. Baby Kathy will you have to do PW when you grow up next time? Pardon the photo quality hahaha; haven't got a new camera after Xiaobai died - the photos are from my mom's phone.

Mooooooooo. Photos! :D

The nurse bathing Kathy!
See that little blob of black in the sink? Yeah, that's the baby.

Nurses should have cooler uniforms...

Putting her back in her little er.. trolley?

See, like pushing shopping baskets. Two at a time.
New borns are soooooo... ah. (:

Hey there, sweetie-pie.
Welcome to the world (:

*Nehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*

And then my jie-fu (that's what I call him hahaha) nehhhhhhhhhhhh-s back at her - -"

Kathlyn sticks out her tongue non-stop I tell you!
Cuuuuuuuuute daoooooooooooo...

With my aunt and mama! <3
Who've both elevated to "grandma" and "great-grandma" status already. :D

Madness right, my aunt looks really young and pretty. (Y)
IM GONNA BE A DANG COOL AUNT TOOOOOOOOOOOO :D

 Koooooooooooochie kooooooooooooochie :D

My dad absolutely delighted.
He looooooves little kids too.

Okay battery's at 7% the mac's going!!! Anyway, it's a very overwhelming and surreal feeling seeing a newborn. It's like welcoming a brand new life. And they're sooooooo helpless! And vulnerable and lovely and soft and squishy and squishy and small and tiny and funny!

Praise God; thank You for my little baby niece (:

Hello baby K, here's just to let you know that... We love you :D Grow up well!

With love,
Xiaoen yi-yi (:

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!
