Thank you, God, for seeing me through the past 16 years (: For giving me a safe environment to live and grow in. And for friends and family, who've given me so much love and care, which I am very, very thankful for. Please teach me to focus, to self-discipline, that I will grow, more than in mere age, but more so to be like You, in spiritual maturity. Thank you, Lord (: Your love is the best present anyone could ever receive.

Spent the day with Chin Ling Rah, over lunch and study. Twas quite a fruitful day, really! Thanks for the super pie, the laughter-filled meal (with beheaded baby octopus-es and all) plus all the time, fun and love (: Lookin' forward to our next adventure! Oh Rah, your birthday's next. (;

Thank you for all the greetings and SMSes!! Albeit with "Eh grow up lah" or "Exams are coming!!!". Haha (: Really, really appreciate your thoughts, super friends! :D Man, some made me tear. (AAH IM SO WIMPY HAHAHA :D) But it's so nice when people tell you you mean a lot to them! Squishy hug.

It's a weird and wrong time to have a birthday, when everyone's buzzing about for exams. - -" But mm, it's F1 time, and 月饼节 is around the corner too. So, haha! Not that bad lah. 8)

just read yq's latest post. blimey, i am in full admiration of her brain's deepest thoughts. everything is so true, which makes it really sad. on a sidenote, never really thought this whole IP thing was a good idea anyway. you know, we learn so much during lessons, have all those discussions about education and all, it is evident that singapore's education system has some major flaws, but no one seems to be doin' anything about it. i wonder how our children's times will be like next time. being in a good (what's the definition of good, anyway? didnt we read about the school placing system in LA?) school makes you see stuff. and think. it's quite sad 'cos we're forced not to feel. He that feels, fails. what difference can we make, anyway? ok back to the point. anyways reading her post blew me off at several points, like, blew off in a good way. or maybe it's just me. but wow. reality bites. kinda like, ouch. 'twas really insightful to read, there's this bubbling over feeling inside me now. eh can i request it to be read and discussed during LA? i can already see miss teo nodding in agreement with the points you've raised. wait, interruption, suddenly remembered. watched the vid of miss singapore world. woah. cmi. and no wannqin, i really dont mean 'can make it'. more so of its contrary, really. i vow to be a good english teacher next time. poof okay bye (: we really ought to make our placement across the bridge, albeit already pre-determined, one with honour and equally deserving as that of 2 points(!!) On hair.

As the title goes.

1. Woke up this morning, looked into the mirror and exclaimed to the person on the other side of the mirror, "You look like an Ah Beng!!"

2. Yes. Ah Beng. Gladys, I can be your gangsta friend.

3. Have been avoiding reflective surfaces and mirrors around the house. My heart aches.

4. On a happier note, will be highlighting my hair in the Dec hols! Haha!

5. Mother says I am not allowed to cut my hair for one year. Er I need to rekindle my girly-whirly side.

6. Whoa how long will my hair grow in a year?!

7. Eh my hair used to be really really long in the beginning of Sec1 :B Everyone says I looked more matured then. - -"

8. Bathed and towel-dried my hair. It was completely dry in one minute. One minute, I am serious. Brilliant camp/army hairstyle man!

9. Sandy have you cut your hair yet? No it should be a mane by now.

10. Oh oh oh! Y'know I was trying so hard not to burst out laughing at the hair salon yesterday! Washed after cutting, the person was doing scalp massage and it was so ticklish I almost died! Apparently it'll er relax your mind and stimulate hair growth (I need a lot of hair growth now, actually. Fast.) But I was so stressed out during the massage cos it was so difficult to stifle my laughter! - -"

11. K nothing to say already. Shall go drink a lot a lot of milk and hopefully my hair grows out as much as possible before school starts on Tues.

Squeeeee! Heh heh sorry for burdening you with my woe and sorrowful moaning, people-who-sit-around-me-in-class. :) Esp Cherynn and Ali. I think I've been groaning about my lost harddisk almost everyday. The feeling of losing something sucks man! Big time. But finding something back is super amazing! :D

The weather's been a bit kuku lately. Is it the rainy season now? (wait, imma geog student, I should know..) brrr, the rain makes the air feel cold. And it makes people want to sleep! Not good, considering exams are approaching in eh... 10 days? D: aiyoheh. Gah really hope I can make it k! Math is improving, but I still get stuck all over the place lah! Someone teach me graphs! :(

OH. Another thing. I er JUST cut my hair. And Xiaoen would like to announce that, it's probably the worst haircut in my entire almost sixteen (EH MY BIRTHDAY COMING :D) years of life. I look into the mirror and I feel like crying - -" I look like a little BOY, sharks! :( wah die la ._.

Sec 3s're starting to take over duties and responsibilities. Feels quite funny deep down inside, cos' there's this lingering feeling that you don't quite want to let go yet. And it was barely that we took over, no? But, they'll do good, they'll do good (: Am quite excited about farewell actually! Not the bye-bye-so-long part, but more so of seeing everyone together, comin' together as a batch (we haven't been around each other for a long while now) and just, well, having an event altogether as one Nanyang Guides. Hahahah batch tee talks have been going on since Sec 2, hopefully we'll finally be able to complete it lol. Poured at farewell last year (Sistal, you made me cry like - -" man, darn.), but normally the graduating batch doesn't cry much right. Am quite certain Chin will cry. Hahhahah (:

PS! Xiaoen's hard disk is in this weird black pouch (that doesn't look very nice, really) (it feels plasticy-leathery), there's this transparent 3-way USB cord coiled with the pouch and the hard disk inside is metallic-idontknowhatcolour. It's not very nice looking, but it contains every single soft copy of every single thing which Xiaoen's ever owned since Sec 1. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease return it if you find it somewhereeeeeeeeeeeee! ):

Anyways aloha! Term 4 is knocking on the door, we have come to our final term in Nanyang. Oh dear. I don't like this whole growing up thing ): Let's run away and live on an island forever. We can grow banana trees and eat bananas for breakfast lunch and dinner. And supper.

It's strange to say this, but... Xiaoen's starting to like Math! Squeeeeeee! Chem, on a sidenote, fries the brain. Thank God for a Chem teacher at home anyway. This holiday has been so-so. Accomplished some stuff, but wasted time too. Haven't got about completing as much as I would've liked to. Sigh. I think I'm catching up, but there's this biting feeling I'm still too slow too slow! Die lah. World, can you stop moving for a bit and wait for me to get in line with everyone else? As in, do you liao jie the feeling, like you're already giving your 100% in this last leg of the race, but everyone else is throwing in their 200%!!! Sqwawk.

Teachers' Day Concert '09 was a blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast! Was too high during the entire concert to recognise any faces. Only person I saw was Evelyntan, right smack in the middle. Audience was awesome man! Hahahah the entrance was epic failure but everyone still screamed anyway. And wooaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh the teachers' performance was ownage. Ohman the pre-preparation was worth it HAHAHAH. Huili is (Y) (Hahah Gladys, learnt this from you). We're famous. We're famous.

Thank God that everything fit together in the end. Even the Awards segment! None of this could've happened without Him.

And am extremely thankful for absolutely amazing people who never fail to render their help, even if it means waking up at 6:30am. All the way for friends like that, of whom I am now enslaved to. (Dear friend you know who you are and you have no idea how the concert was only possible because of your help.)

And we are all now proficient in pronouncing Christian Lacroix, Hermes & Dolce and Gabbana.
