Anyway, this was the exhibition we were supposed to go and visit... until Cartier booked the entire ArtScience museum for their private event. :( Did get a few snaps at the single exhibit displayed in MBS tho, better than naught. On a sidenote, the best piece of advice I can offer to anyone visiting Marina Bay Sands - eat before you go. Seriously. We wanted to lunch there, headed to the foodcourt, and realised that all the food there was mostly 6 dollars and above. :( And there isn't anything else much to eat. Oh but there's Gongcha though. Didn't check out the prices for that one.

Really small one though, so we decided not to go.

Random snaps from Vietnam.

Went for a short trip to Vietnam from 19-22 Dec - 'twas a nice time spent with the relatives, experiencing new things and eating a lot.

Stuff I did in Vietnam...

• Travelled around on a motorbike
• Went to a club for the first time. Stood there drinking my Coca-cola, watching Caucasian tourists dance - 've got quite a few thoughts on this clubbing thing, hahaha that'll be for another post
• Ate a flower
• Ate a lot
• SAW A SQUIRREL UP CLOSE
• I LOVE SQUIRRELS

Day 1 dinner - getting used to Vietnamese cuisine! Tried lots of new stuff (:

The plane flying over the Mekong river (I think) as we were approaching Vietnam.

At the Cu Chi tunnel, where we walked through the tunnels too - a rather frightening experience...

Some American tank they left behind after the war.

The track we're walking on lies directly above the tunnels! The whole experience was quite amazing, seeing how the Vietnamese improvise and come up with tactics in the war.
