Gosh gosh! Two weeks after exams and I am bored to death. I don't believe it.. barely a week after my exams I called my uncle and requested to work for him. SMU has many other jon opportunities.. But a job that allows me to fly and take leave whenever I want, is only the job available at my uncle's office^_^ am I a workaholic? I am slowly able to whip up more complicated meals. Sichuan vegetable stir fried with meat, preserved vegatable in duck soup and finally mastering the skill of making good durian puffs.. =)
Missed sylvia's birthday celebration.. guess everybody is busy.. damn sad lar.. what we predicted really came true.. after a year since sylvia's birthday, the people gathering are getting smaller and smaller.. mind mind.. when will be our next gathering?
Post exam effects are crazy.. I had put on 2kg.. argh... going nuts... Trying to cut down on my consumption of food now.. But working in orchard just drives me nuts.. food everywhere, shopping centres right in front of you.. pretty clothes you wanna buy but realised it is just the sake of buying.. I realised i am evolving.. my character is evolving.. Maybe I will not type in the blog that often already. Nowadays i have a little notebook in my hand, where ever i go, whatever ideas or reflections that come into my head, I'll just note it down. Soon it seems like a second diary to me. Here's my weekly comments:
Five things about UGLY Singaporean or Foriegners:
1. Jellyfish people (what do I mean?)
- People that enters the MRT and lean against the poles, preventing people from holding it for balance. When the train gets pack, they still stick to the pole.. Why jelly fish? Becoz they have no back bones.
2. Impatient pigs (Have you seen them?)
- Drivers making a U-turn or humans boarding a train/ bus. Drivers start horning even before the pedestrian light turn red as "we" are blocking their road and "we" may not reach the other end on time. Human boarding the train, blocking the entrance- entering once the door opens, thinking the doors will shut once the allow people to step out first.
3. Dirty minded old and young men (Met them? Seen them?)
- In a packed train, catching them looking down at the low cut sphagetti strap clothes some girls are wearing? Be it round, slim, tall, short, young or old, it just entertains them.
4. Sales girls/ personnels at Customer services that are rude and unfriendly (Feel like slapping them?)
- Gives you an attitude when you dress sloppily, worst treats you transparent. Talking about food and what's for lunch between collegues while serving you? Where is the customer service we are paying for?
5. Stubborn old and young generations that think the government owes them a living( Feel like knocking some sense into them?)
-Think that they are all mighty and right, thinking that the government shold listen to them and not the other way round. Not knowing where we are today is because of what they have planned for us. Travel to our neighbouring countries, vietnam, thailand, indonesia and malaysia. Corruption is something common, kids begging or walking along the roads selling flowers, cigarettes and food. Do we have that? Why we do not have that? Just because more money placed in CPF each month to prepare the days after retirements, people curse and swear. What's the big deal? If it is so great, ask ur kids to provide a shelter and food for you after you retire. I bet by then, Singapore will be a country of old grumpy beggars neglected by their child. Not giving money = Bad government. Wake up your damn idea. Nobody is perfect, not all policies are perfect and good. For example, while I am here complaining about these freaks, I may does something that piss others off too. But how nice it will be if some sense can be knock into them.. haha..
That's for the week..
-hooked on Prince of Tennis Anime and Manga-
Someone who is a dietitian, a doctor and a teacher.
Guess who is this person.
Of course, a mother.
Mother is the best teacher in the world. However, some mothers are not good teachers at all. why? they teach their children the wrong thing. Rude, inconsiderate and kiasu!!!!
Today I couldn't take it. An indian mother pulled her daughter and stood right in front of the MRT door at hougang station, blocking the way for people to step out. Can't they wait till everyone comes out? No. They obviously can't. When the door opened, the mother placed her daughter in front of her to push their way through. Everyone walking out allowed the little girl and her mother nonsense. But I can't i stood there still everyone walked out while the girl tried to push me, I swept off the hand that was pushing against my body. Her mother was shocked, the little girl stared back. I gave an attitude face and guess what happen? The mother quickly looked away. Not being racist but this is a particular case that happened to me today. I bet there are many other mothers out there who behave like that. Mothers.. be a good teacher.
Life is tough.. results are out. Forgoing 9 years of studying science and choose a course that I am brand new with. Tell me whether I am right or wrong?
I got B+ for Creative Thinking under Margaret Chan. haiz.. I am very sad.. giving up going to Malacca for chinese new year. I was determined to get at least an A- but I failed. It was a total let down. =(
I got B- for Statistics and A- for Business Government Society. Hope I do well for the other 3 modules. bless me..
Friday.. daddy took off from work all because of Sarah's PTM. Went to have lunch with dad at kovan, while mummy went to send Gary off to tekong. Change my mind of going to tekong with gary coz I am obviously not his gf and if I accepted his mum's offer to go, it will just feel weird. Haha.. so yeap.. KOVAN!!! Miss the food there, remembered those days S13 went there to eat before extra lessons or after lessons on saturday. Roasted duck rice, carrot cake, minced meat noodles, laksa, boneless chicken rice, dim sum and many more. Not forgetting a cup of cooling sugar cane juice. Gosh,I was too spoilt for choice. Enjoyed the lunch as a ate a little of all and the rest were left to dad or being cleared. =p sinful.. I gained weight during the exam period. argh....
Drop off at the video rental store to get some DVDs when I met "them". "Them" refers to the JC 2 seniors that made many JC1 girls go nuts about when I entered SRJC in 2004 . If I did not get their names wrong *cross fingers* Nigel, Christoper and forget it forgot the last guy name. But yup. Play boys they were, nothing but punks now. I always wondered why girls thought they were handsome or even cool then.. Till now I never got it. Punks.
Something got me real mad that evening. People thought i was sarah's mom!!!!! What the heck!!!! do I look so old? i wore a pink sweater and a brown kahki shorts with papilo. old? great must be my hair- long, wavy, black and boring ponytail. -.-'' So I decided to go for a make over treat given by my sister who now draws a relatively afforable pay. haha.. so yeap..

Goodbye to my long hair that I kept for two years. I just love short hair. Easy to tidy, and no worries of hair accesories=)
But daddy seems unhappy.. haiz... daddy hates short hair. haha... let the holiday and baking lesson begin!!!!!! muacks
Exams are finally over. But i am not happy at all... so many things to do!!!!
1. Rearrange my table
2. Get a new hair cut or trim only
3. Help sarah with her 'o' level studies
But I am determine to get all these done and brush up my cooking and baking skills this summer. The way I planned my summer had caused be to drop the idea of working. argh... less money!! But guess it will be fine, my heart will not hurt so much as long as I do not withdraw too much money at a time.
Holiday in June with my best friends.. so happy... but not confirm though. Today I will find out who are able to go.
i heard that there is this SIA airfare tickets offer!!!!! SD200 per person for two or more people travelling!!!!!Cool right? the jetstar is only 40 dollars cheaper!!! So why not right? able to enjoy food and movie along the trip=) hehehe.....
My darlings.. be quick k=)
Time passed so fast. I was designing sarah's timetable for 'O' Level when i remembered the days I had in SJC. 'O' level oral was in the library, and all of us were nervously waiting for our turn. I was I third last index no for SJC due to my surname and combi. Can u imagine the nervousness I had when only 3 person was left in the room, and you know that the rest of school had completed theirs? haha.. those were sweet memories that I usually think of.
Now I am so scare for my university results. my brain cells must have died during this 3days with 4 papers. *cross*fingers I really need to prove those people wrong.
holidays are here......
Gosh... how long has it been since I last blogged?
Okay.. today's 5th, last blogged 19th.. o.O 17 days!!! coming 3 weeks..
Life been hectic.. Now is my study week. Four more days to exams and I have not completed my revision. Do you think i am dead? I think so. Great.. life sucks.. Can't we have system like what we have in JC... longer study weeks? Stingy school.. haha..
