God is our great comforter@_@

Hi Pdan,
Thank you for praying for me last Friday's night. Thank you for your love and praying. God loves godly man's prayer.

Another thing is that what our God is our great comforter. (2 Corinthians1:1-6)

Basically, I should have shown up in my disscussion group of BSF. However, I did not because I did not know why and I was so tired. Maybe I just took much blood away for test yesterday's afternoon or maybe some drugs I took that caused me to fall into sleeping. When I slep, I could sense some pain from my abdoman's
part, and it was not consecutive, but I felt uncomfortable.

Then, I guess that my consious went to deep step, and then, I dreamed that I was in discussion's group of BSF and I studied God's word with many women whom I do not know in my dream. I sensed that they all loved God very much. The environment was with sweetful peace and yellow light. Next, the dreamed changed. The holy spirit through my mom-in-law, who knelt down with her hand touching my arm, prayed for me when I growned with pain sitting on the chair. I sensed the darkness was behind the sky (It was evening in Taipei). I woke up by these special event. I opened and read the bible lying down on the bed. There were many thoughts about church's things jumping in my mind. I closed the bible and started to pray.

Around 11:20am, I received a phone from my descussion's leader of BSF who prayed for me immediately after she knew why I could not attend this morning. Then, I knelt and prayed for her as response on the phone because I thank God through her to encourage and pray for me. It was God's grace and mercy.

The inspiration encourages me to pray for our church as well. The holy sprit leads me to pray for us who have to completely go through all the processes in the past and trust in the LORD even waiting for Him. By his power strength building a strongtower for us and renew our mind in Christ Jesus and protect us under His wings, no more negative thoughts/information from outsiders to go around among us. Let's keep in step with spirit, and encourage one another to establish His church. May his name be honored and glorified. O, my almighty God, give thanks to you. You are glorious Lord. May you fill us up with your living water and blessings. O, my LORD thank you for what you have done is in everything.

Anyway, Pdan,
May you have a blessed day. Thank you for your prayer again.

"Your Spiritual Mind-Set"

"1 That same day Jesus went out fo the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such lrge crowds gthered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying:"A farmer went out ot sow his seed. 4 As he was cattering the seed, some fell long the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sum came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. where it produced a crop-a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 He who has ears, let him heart."

Attitude and Action

The Great Commandment
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:28-31)
The Widow’s Offering
41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. 43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-all she had to live on.” (Mark 13:41-44)

Believe And Receive God's Love

Again and again, the Bible speaks of receiving from God. He is always pouring out His blessing, and we should, as empty, thirsty vessels, learn to take in freely all that He offers us.

In the spiritual realm, when you and I believe something, we receive it into our heart. In the world, we are taught to believe what we see. In God's Kingdom,we must learn to believe first, and then we will see manifested what we have believed (received, admitted in our heart).

When Jesus said that whatever we ask of God, believing, will be granted to us, He was saying that we will receive it free.

One of our biggest challenges is that we do not trust the word "free." We quickly find out in the world's system that things really are not free. Even when we are told they are free, there is usually a hidden cost somewhere. But God's kingdom of grace and love is not like the world's. God's wondrous love is a gift He freely gives us. All we need to do is open our hearts, believe His Word, and receive it with thankfulness. John 1:16

Letting go of anger

Actually, the sermon "Letting go of anger" is classified into four series. In fourth series, Pastor Charles Stanley talked about identifidention of anger, forgiveness, and unforgiveness. The second part is talked about steps of forgiveness, and how to deal with anger. Final part is shown "If you have forgiven...

Here you go.

a) Anger is strong feeling of intense displeasure, hostility or indignation as a result of a real or imagined threat insult, frustration or injustice toward yourself or someone important to you.
b) Forgiveness is giving up resentment against someone and our right to get even no matter what has been done.
c) Unforgiveness is the deliberate, willful refusal to give up one's resentment and the right to get even based on the wrongful thought that someday got to pay.

1. Obstacles of forgiveness
-rehearsing what are the did to you
-wanting to unforgive somebody
-pride, fear, rejection
-negative advice (not godly advice)
-partial forgiveness (unforgiveness)
-Do not feel like it. (I try it but it did not work)

2. To order "Anger and Forgiveness" :( living salve of unforgiveness)
-Matthew 6:12; Eph 2:8-9; Mathew 6:14-15; Matthew 18; Matthew 18:23 ( seventy-seven times)
** God hates unforgiveness Eph 4:30
(Do not grives holy spirit) Be kind one another . Ask Father to forgiveness
** 1 John 1:9, Matthew 6, (Unforgiveness will go on and on.)
** Genuine forgiveness = I am agree with God (Homogolos)
** Unforgivess is poison

3. Steps of forgiveness
a. It is our responsibility to take the initiative in dealing with it
b. Forgiveness is not easy. (Not instantly forgiveness. Do not let anger become bitterness.)
c. Forgiveness is one of the most unselfish acts

4. To deal with anger
a . Acknowledge you have experienced that God has totally forgive in my life.
b. Confess your anger, hostility, bitterness, rage and resentment
(God, forgive, my anger toward___someone. Be specific!)
c. realize and acknowledge that unforgiveness
d. Ask God to forgive you.
e. Lay down your anger and bitterness
f. Proclaim your faith

5. If you have forgiveness...
a. You will not feel the same way.
b. You will accept them the way they are.
c. The harsh feeling will go different feeling
d. You will consider the reasons for their actions.
e. You will thank God for all ( Thank God for letting me experience this lesson)
f. Holy Spirit reminders (Let God set you free because free man is different from salve)

Finally, obey God and leave all consequence in Him. Amen.

Pray for you and God bless and love you, Pastor Dan.

The LORD is our Rock

Lord, give thanks to you! thank God, you always loves us unconditionally. You do not love us if we are good and then stop loving us if we are bad. You always love us. You are always kind, always slow to anger, always full of grace and mercy, always ready to forgive. Lord, you are a Rock, unchanging, and undeviating. You are great and unfailing, faithful and just, perfect and right in all Your doing. You will never leave us or forsake us. What would happen in our lives and in the lives of those around us if we were like God? What would happen if we were always loving, always slow to anger, always filled with grace and mercy, always ready to forgive? What would happen if we, like our God, were always positive, peaceful, and generous? You are our Rock, but you are also our Example. We are to strive to be the way You are. I know that anyone can change if I can because I had a bad case of instability. God does not expect us to become perfect overnight, but You want to help us to become more and more like You day by day. Amen

Dear Ladies,
I sincerely thank God for allowing me to attend me this conference. I definitely have learned it very much. I feel the topic in this year is different from last year by God’s leading. It is intending toward a goal of “Free Inside and Out” in a serious of process by God’s forgiveness and unfailing love.

Steven Arterburn: He emphasizes on “Transformation” through “Romans 12:2”. Ex, “Let God transform us, not copy this world. We have to change the way we think. We can experience the transformation. If you want to have transformation, God will transform you.” I also like what he said how to “dig out” your past. He used the example about historical mistakes we can learn it and not make mistakes again. Furthermore, he starts to talk about “pain”/ “Do you have all pain? Shame, suffering and so on” Meanwhile, he illustrates four questions:
Q1. What am I so angry about?
Q2 What am I missing, entitled?
Q3 What I need right now?
Q4 What am I learning?
Next, he talks about sins down deep inside. We have to dig out. Like if we open the truth before God, he can heal us.

Summary:
I really like this part because it reminds of me that I have to dig my own past out or it will come back to bother me once I ignore it. I find that it will be a journey and I am willing to allow God to transform my life even though I am a Christian. Another reason is I know, if I do not dig out the past, I can not be like a purity child to see God. Matthew 5:7.

Marilyn Meberg:
I like Lisa Harper who uses two boxes as an example for explaining some anxious thoughts. (Psalm 94:19) “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” Furthermore, she uses “Consolation and Solution” through Jesus Christ to help us to go through.
1. Consolation: You can be really with God
2. Consolation: Jesus heals you. He feels you we feel such as pain.
3. Consolation: “God, I know you hear my prayer!”
4. Consolation: God, (Ephesians 1:11) is Sovereign. He will use you for good. (Romans 8:28) and Psalm 100.
Enter the password: thank you!
What doest that mean? “If I can give him my incredible pain , thank you for this according to his Sovereign work. I am willing to do according to his promised.”

Next, she said that when you say “Thank you!”, perhaps there is nothing changing immediately in your circumstance, but there is a transformation through Sovereignty to put your life again.
Sovereignty → Transformation (Change) →for His good will.

Sandi Patty:
God often through Sandi Patty ‘s music to heal people’s soul and pain. It is amazing! How much she closes to God when I hear her songs. Besides, she opens her pains to the LORD and allows him to heal her sorrow, shame and torment before. Let God take over her completely.
“Father, you give me wings and set me free. Set me free from before my false. Father, you have so patiently to see when you set me free……”

Sheila Walsh:
I thank God through her sharing to let me understand how to forgiven someone who used to hurt you or even take much granted from me in the past. I perceive that “Be Still” which means “Let go and know God!” Only God can complete us through his perfect love. (1 John4) Thank God-Amazing Grace.

Lisa Whelchel:
Through a Pastor’s wife’s sharing, I learn how to tear off our professional mask. I was surprised when she shared that she does not know how to make friends and connect people because she has a professional title from her insides which dates from her childhood, original family. She used to be an actress when she was a little child. She knows how to act and perform well and perfect through training. This process inevidivblely goes into her adulthood and affects her social relationship with people although she is a title of pastor wife and has published many books. However, she often feels lonely and isolation. She starts to cry out to God for help the “Inconsist connection love” God can help her to break down the barrier…….
It reminds of me how to recharge of “inconsist connection love” Sometimes when I feel I am lonely and isolation not feel I can connect with people, I think most of problems are from my own not because people do not love me or not connect with me. The problem is I think my own love is insufficient and I forgot to recharge it from God. Another important thing I learn is to be the way what God asks me to be before Him not pretend or try to perform well in the public. It is good reminding.

Nicole .C Muller:
I thank God to let me see Nicole Muller’s faith in him again and again. Through her songs “Redeemer” and dancing, the tears came into my eyes and a prayer jumping into my mind “God, thank you for your forgiveness and love. Without you, I can not sit here. Without you, I can not pray. Without you, my life can not be saved. God, really, without you, I can not do anything. Pa, Pa, my father, Jesus, I thank you for your grace and love and healing and forgiveness. Thank you for choosing me and giving me much love. Thank you, In Jesus name I pray, Amen”

Luci:
Thank God to spread the message from her. The life is absolutely to have many troubles (1 Con 2:9). Thank her for the message on John 16:33 and Lamentations (3:26)

Thank you for being friend for walking in Christ. Thank God through Shirley's faithfulness in Christ.

12/21/08 We are engaged @_@

Dear Eon,
Yeah! We are engaged and committed to each other. Thank God! @_@
I sincerely thank you for proposing me such a special way. I remember that on Dec 19, we had a strong disagreement as we discussed with wedding preparation after we went home from fellowship. I was angry even thought if we could go further our relationship or not before going to bed. Next morning you gave me a call with apology and wanted to see me. I was surprised with your call but I accepted it and then, you showed up in my place. God through Janet Bleecker helped us to know what the priority was during wedding preparation. Later, we went to church for moving church. After moving church, we had dinner and hang out with brothers and sisters in late night. Then, when you dropped me off my place, I thought it was getting late and you were supposed to go home due to the whole tiring day. However, you did not go instead of wanting to show me a special thing. You took out a dice, middle ball from your bag and then, a lot of stars was projected on the wall containing shooting starts. Both of us laid on the floor watching the stars on the wall. It was so romantic. Later, I turned on the light and thought it was time for you to go home. Next, you brought a box for me which was new camera you bought for me. I found a small blue box at the bottom of camera. “It is a diamond ring” when I opened it. Surly, I smiled and laughed with joy richly. Immediately, “Will you marry me!” these words in front of me spelled by gummy bears attached on the baking tray held by your hand while I was putting diamond on my finger. I did not know how to response it. It was too surprise to me. You could clearly see my mouth appeared a big “O” with laughing and joy. Thank you! Eon, I love you!
Another hearting warming things is when I asked you that why did you propose me since we had the disagreement last night and when did you make gummy bear and what was any motivation for you to propose me? You told me although we had the disagreement, you still loved me. Meanwhile, you felt God encouraged you to propose me when you had a devotional bible studying in that morning, you prayed for “Proposal” to the Lord and you felt Spirit told you that you could propose to me. Thus, you made gummy bears in the morning before seeing me. After I heard what you said this to me, my heat was filled with a special joy lifting up. It was special for me. I thanked God and thanked you for your effort. Finally, you reminded me “You do not answer me yet” when you mentioned gummy bears again. I said, “What?” Then, my consciousness quickly came back in reality “Yes, I do!” to you. *Hugs*
I love you, Eon. You are a special man to me. I love you! @_@

*****************************************************************
My dearest God,
Thank you for your love and mercy and compassion. For everything from heaven to earth is all yours. Lord! How can I return your love as I know, your love is richer than I can image. My heat is filled with love richly. Thank you very much! The life continually is being moisturizing by your grace over and over. Thank you, Lord! My dearest Abby, Father in Heaven. Please keep granting my wisdom and caring in being a good servant, wife, daughter –in-law and mother and nurse in the long run so I may be able to honor in Your name. Besides, by faith, please help me renew my mind and obey you all the days of my life so I would be more like you. “33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” ( Ephesians5:33). “1 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2. Honor your father and mother”-which is the first commandment with a promise-3 “that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” (Ephesians 6:1)

I continually thank you for letting Eon Huang to propose me, especially when he shares with me before he proposes, he prays and asks you guidance and then, by Spirit, he makes a cute baking tray “Will you marry me!” spelling by gummy bears to me. It was wonderful and heart warming. When he told me last Sunday, my heart was filled with a special joy. Thank God! I knew it was your blessing. It was you, Jesus! Thank you! Lord.

Yes, Lord I will obey my husband through your teaching and commends all the days of my life in order to honor your name. “3. Let Love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heat. 4. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” (Proverbs 3: 3-4) Thank you, my father. I love you!

Needless to say, I will love Eon’s family as well and I do believe we will get along well each other lots through you, Jesus Christ’s love which you have shown me. Thank you, Jesus again and again. “4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it s not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) In Jesus name I pray, Amen

12/04/08 Eon's b-day at Yang's family's home@_@

Dec 4th, Eon’s b-day@.@
Tonight was a huge night for Eon and I because it was not just for his b-day but also for our wedding preparation. I sincerely thank God through Han and Joyce Yang to help us how to prepare wedding preparation when we decide to marry on March 7. There was a huge details for us to do it. By blessing, Han through Faith encouraged Eon and I to go ahead and do it as well as he shared his experienced with us when he and Joyce Yang how to prepare wedding preparation with us. After he shared with us, our anxiety felt released much better. But we still wanted to ask God's guidance and helping so we finally prayed together. I sincerely thanked God through Yang’s family's message and helping. Thanks God!
“7 Cast all anxiety on Him for He cares for you!” (1 Peter 5:7)

11/30/08 Eon's early b-day @_@

11/30/08 Eon’s early birthday.

We gave Eon a special early birthday while we were practicing Christmas Program. When we had a break time, I took a cake showing up in front of him and then, brothers and sisters put cape and crown on him. Then, before blowing candles, I read “1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians2:1-4)

He was happy and joyful. I love you, Eon. Happy Birthday to You!

P.s thanks brothers and sisters for helping out.

Amazing Morning-Part 2@_@

But by faith, I have to finish the story of “Amazing morning”.

I can not believe I ran into this guy again on the bus 51 while I was going to go home around 6:00pm. He recognized me and gave me with smile. Then, he told me that he shared how he ran into me this morning and I shared God’s Words with him by encouragement in his small group of his Church. He got lots good feedback from his small group. I still repeated about 1 John 4 “There is no fear in Love. Love drives out of fear.” He was excited to share me that this was what he exactly shared with his group about 1 John 4 this verse and he told his group that he admitted that he was afraid many things to tell God, and the truth was “We are the children of God. He is our parent. There is no fear. I forgot. But through 1 John 4, God set me free.”

Hearing it, I was joyful. I said, “Hey, Kevin, next time when I run into you again, you can say, hey, I become Christian.”

He smiled.

“God bless you!” I finally said.

The End!

Have a blessing night.

God bless you All:)

Through It All

" I've had many tears and sorrow,

I've had questions for tomorrow,

There've been times I didn't know right from wrong;

But in ev'ry situation,

God gave blessed consolation,

That my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all,

Oh I've learned to trust in Jesus,

I've learned to trust in God.

Through it all,

Through it all,

Oh I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I've been to lots of places,

And I've seen a lot of faces;

There've been times I felt so all alone;

But in my lonely hours,
yes, those precious lonely hours,

Jesus let me know that I was His own,

I thank God for the mountains,

And I thank Him for the valleys;

I thank Him for the storms He brought me through;

For if I'd never had a problem,

I wouldn't know that He could solve them, I'd never know what faith in God could do." (Sandi Patty)

Amazing Morning 11/13/08

This morning I had a brief conversation and sharing with Janet Bleecker, my roommate when she is preparing and practicing for tonight's homiletics of BSF about "How to share the gospel" (She is a speaker) before I was going to go to school. Then, we prayed together.

As usual I took bus 32 and got off at the intersection of Moffet with Middle field and then, cross the street for connecting another bus 51 to De Anza College. I opened the Bible and followed by my schedule in Revelation while I am waiting for bus 51. At the same time, a guy, black man was the same as me for waiting for bus sitting on the bench. He asked me if I knew when the bus came. I told him that it was about 20 minutes.

Next, he asked me "Are you studying Chinese or English Bible?"
I said, "I read both."

he said, "I read Bible by myself and attended bible studying group. Would you please read loudly so I can hear?"

I told him, "Right now I am reading Revelation 9. Do you want to hear what I read?"

he said, "yes!"

I started to recite the word by word until last verse in Chapter 9.

he briefly responded me about Chapter 9. I shared my thought in verse "4 ......, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads." (Revelation 9:4) So, salvation is very important.

He said, " Do you baptize?"

I replied, "Yes."

He told me that currently he is in a Christian Church (I forgot the name) which he studied bible in there. The group also train people how to be disciple but he has not baptized yet although he is continually going the church for bible studying.

I told him, "Do you know the meaning of gospel? In other words, do you know why God sent Jesus for us?"

He clearly explained to me in God's love and for our sin. He kept saying right now in church, their topic moves on what the meaning of sin? He declared that he believes God and Jesus Christ.

I said, " Do you recognize the sin in your life?"

he said, "Yes. but I do not know why I can not love Jesus. I do not how either. Through Bible, God says, if we love him, he will love us. But I do not know why i can not love Him."

I said, "Thank you for sharing. I am encouraged. I think God wants us to receive His love at first and through Romans 8: 37-39, no one can separate us from the love of God. Second, God wants us to love ourselves through Him completely."

He replied me, "Maybe I do not know how to love myself. I am struggling."

I opened the Chapter 1 John 4: 16- 18 to him. " ... God is love. whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears in not made perfect in love"

He said, "yes, I believe God is love. If I believe Him, there is no fear. It makes sense. I need to work out my fear."

I said, " Yes, the perfect love drives out fear and allow God to made complete in us. Maybe try to learn from "Surrender" (sp)

He told me, "Can you write down the verse to me so I can meditate and think of more. Thank you for your encouragement. Honestly, I wanted to bring Bible and read it before leaving my house... and I was very very very disappointed this morning. I was going to cry before seeing you. I feel God through you encourage me and not to give up and trust in Him. Thank you very much!"

(I prayed for him.)

I asked, "How old are you?"
He said, "I am 40 years old. See, even i am 40. I am still vulnerable."

I said, " It is not relative to ages. We all need God no matter what ages we are."

I kept saying, "It is about Jesus Christ. We are all the same and hold him tightly and hold this verse and remember it. Maybe one day you can be a blessing to bless other people who needed. Hopefully you become Christian soon for the glory of His name."

He nodded with thanks and simile. Here came to the bus.

My conclusion is I deeply feel only God's Word and redemption can save people. He is only One we depend on and ask for and trust in. Our hearts always hungry for Him. By the way, I also thank God through Eon who used to share the 1 John 4 with me in two months ago. So, I am reminded to share. All right, it is a wonderful time sharing the good news through his words to help others. Amen and Amen. Thank you for the Cross Jesus is GOOD "

Have a blessing day!

Community Service Learning 10/20

Community Service Learning

This quarter in Fall of 08 I take two ICS (Intercultural Studies). One of assignment is about community service learning. For this class the community service learning requirement will be fulfilled through your participation in a team made up of you and some of you classmates that will work together with organizations based both on and off campus. On October 20, there was an event called “SFJ-student for justice!” on campus. I met Jane who was there in early time and she helped me folded the fly and I tried to say “Hi” to know other people who has involved this event. Around 12:30pm, the speakers went after on the stage to express their voice for “2008 California State Propositions”. There were two “Prop 4 & Prop 8” quiet defends. I would hear different opinions with “Pro and Con” at that moment. Prop 4 – “Parental Notification and Waiting Period for Abortions” and Prop 8- “Constitutional Amendment Banning Gay Marriage” Some people agree with it. Others do not. In my point of view, I feel the freedom is everywhere. Besides, I could see Asian American who can show their voice on the stage no matter or whatever they said. It presents that Asian American are not only silent but more and more voice and right and justice.
By the way, Jane and I ran into our instructor in this event. Hopefully he can give us high score…haa!

Interview Pastor Dan for ICS 20

Interview Pastor Dan (Intercultural Studies)

This quarter I take two Intercultural Studies that one of assignment is to find someone who is immigrant and cultural and background is similar to me. The first person jump into my mind is Pastor Dan.

Introduction:
My subject is my Pastor, Daniel Cheng who has Taiwanese background is immigrant to United State when he was teenager. Later on, for God’s sake, he went back Taiwan to finish School of China Evangelical School in Taipei, Taiwan. He married his wife Charlene, Taiwanese and has tow daughters, first generation in U.S. He has been serving of Christianity at Canaan Taiwanese Christian Church over sixteen years at Mountain View, California. In this Church, there are three services classified into three languages: English, Taiwanese, and Mandarin. I am interested in that wheat’s the vision of him for God’s sake to come to United Sates? What’s feeling as an immigrant in U.S? How does he interact with these people who are immigrant from Taiwan and ABSs, ABTs 2nd-3rd generation? I am looking forward to seeing the new perspective of his own.

In conclusion, after interview with Pastor Dan, I deeply feel we need to renew our mind (Romans 12:2) to use different perspective views to see this country once we start to choose to settle down. Some of thoughts are supposed to update. For example, personally, I can not often thing of past where I lived in Taiwan instead of updating my mind in positive way when I am living in this land so that I may know how to adjust to live here. The benefit is good for me to reduce discrimination in order to assimilation. I can live more health and enjoy the freedom. Meanwhile, I have to improve my English that will be helpful to communicate with people in diversity. They may understand what my thought or emotion is through my behavior when they interact or communicate with me. Another important thing is the vote is very important for Asian American who can have more chance to present our “voice” in this country. Finally, through the Bible saying “We are children of His own”, there is no special distinction before His presence. Needless to day, we have to love each other without racism as we live on the earth under the “Heaven.”

##I got the score of 44/50 (50)

10/11/08 Link Observatory

10/11/08 Observatory@_@

After visiting Jasmine, eon and I went to observatory, located on East San Jose. The fist time I saw the 36-inch and 120 inch telescopes. I was so excited, and gained a little bit of knowledge of telescope... three mirror reflectors... Thank God! We had a lot of fun although the weather was chilly@_@

"I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. 2 My soul will boast in the LORD; let eh afflicted hear and rejoice. 3 Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together." (Psalm34: 1-3)

10/11/08 visiting Jasmine...

Dear LORD,

Thank you very much for your caring and grace! Thank you so much to use eon and I to care for Jasmine and her family. Thank you for keeping the friendship with Jasmine and me. I am happy to see her son who is so cute and healthy. I thank you that I can share my testimony with Jasmine's father, we can sing a praise song to Jasmine and we can talk with Jasmine's father. LORD, thank you. May you continually do your good work on them with your love! Thank you! In Jesus name, Amen.

10/11/08 visiting Jasmine...
We were joyful to visit Jasmine Chen and we visited her son, Brian Ho and her father and mother who come from China. We shared Psalm 23, praying, testimony with her father and Jasmine. By faith, we sang a song together.
I wish Jasmine can bring her father to join our Music Event this Saturday night.

On the other hand, I felt I need to improve myself not to talk to much.. haa so as to allow eon to talk more... Thanks eon's reminding. I liked eon's to evaluate me so that I could grow up. However, I also let him know that if he could speak in love so that I may be encouraged. That would build up one another. Because it was hard to swallow as someone gave you a comment immediately, it had a good intention.
Due to the Truth of Love (1 Cor 13:4-6), we will improve this area in our communication in a long run.
At least I may realize where the area of mine is needs to improve so that we can maintain the relationship or love each other more and more.

Thanks Jesus...

08/08/08 L.A Day 1 -Helen Huang ---@_@

08/08/08 L.A Day1-visiting Helen H.
Lord, than you very much! From driving and checking at airport, everything was smoothly. Thus, I had a extra time to study Philippians 1 as I waited for boarding to L.A.
Thank you to be with me all the time. I prayed that I could encourage Helen Huang in the way of You and make good friendship and experience Your love and pray/share together. Thank you, Jesus, In your Holy name, Amen.

Quick notes:
“9 And this my prayer; that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may that be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God (Philippians1:9-11)

Dinner: she was pretty as I saw her in Hong Kong Plaza. Then, I gave her See’s chocklate, and then, she brought me to “Tien ba le” could mean Taiwan’s restaurant. We started to share our things to know each other. Interestingly, both of us felt chilly as having “Shaved Ice”. We laughed together.

Sharing/Pictures:
We began to share the pictures at home after dinner. In my part, I shared all the activities in Church through my camera with her and talked to her how God done is in my life. Thank God! Interestly, I found eon’s pictures were cute, as she shared lots her childhood/family in pictures. Haa! I took few of them. I could receive how God blessed her family all! It was all God’s grace
