Much ♥ for MAYDAY

Think their 回到地球表面 [Back to Earth] 2008 concert was too hyped-up?

Not at all.

--
I wasn't exactly thrilled at the start of the concert; managed to get only the lowest-priced tickets. Needless to say, Singaporeans being Singaporeans, are too shy to get up on their feet, wave their lightsticks (or arms whatever) and just get into the atmosphere -.-

And I remember thinking - "Can't believe I gave up a title decider to watch something I'm not enjoying" because the people around me are pretty much like zombies watching a romance movie.

--
But! I did what I know best: gate-crashing *shhh*
Heh heh. So from this view:

I got up to THIS:

Trust me, it was SO much better - the view (duh, of course), the atmosphere, the people. And I wasted 15min of my time up there in the dead crowd. Damn.
So anyway, throughout the energy-sapping 3-hr-plus concert, we jumped, sang, screamed (guys included, don't be surprised!), cheered, L-O-V-E-d and all.

It was very worth the money I must say. There ain't exactly many artistes/acts/bands which can provide entertainment and enjoyment at such a level, you know ;)

--
So here're a few photos (too lazy to resize and upload everything, haha) -

The hawt, hawt, HAWT 阿信 standing in front of us XD

Much-discussed "added element" to the concert - the bridge-like stage (whatever its name is)

Getting up-close and personal. Really close.

The amazingly huge crowd

"See you guys in 2009!"

Please don't stop the music

As I look forward to round up my gadgets, here's the next one on my list:

Don't worry you guys, I'm planning to buy this myself.
I know the iPod Touch is so much sleeker, but I have no use for its functions.
All I need is lots of space to fit in my music library and enough batt life to last me through it. Yep, at this rate, I have no idea when I'm going to save enough for Okla :o

One more impulse buy (not paid by me).

Last Sunday, I woke up at friggin' 4am to visit my beloved (late) granddad and great grandma, which is what we do annually. Usually I hate it when people drag me out of my bed SO early, especially more so when I only slept for 2 hours. But! I lurrve it, for some reason.
As you grow up, I guess you just learn to appreciate your family more (:

So at 6am, while we were still at Mandai, my (very funny) uncle and I had this conversation while waiting by the side:
Uncle: So, what do you want for your birthday?
Me: I don't want the Braun Buffel bag already.
Uncle: Then?
Me: DS Lite.
*end of conversation, fast forward 6 hours later*:

And the only reason I said "DS Lite" - it was another "impulse buy" item of mine.
If you know me, I like to buy things on impulse when I have the $$$, cuz it makes you feel SO MUCH HAPPIER when the purchase is not planned way in advance.
Like you go out to window shop and come back home with a bunch of stuff.
That's probably the most fanta-bulous feeling in the world!

Yes, I'm still figuring out how to navigate some of the games *shhh* I'm not a game-freak you know, considering the only game I ever loved playing was Super Mario World in Gameboy. It's about the same shade as my precious Lumix. Good ol' Metallic Rose ;) So that was the first item off my never-ending "I want it" list and of course, the first 21st birthday present I received, albeit it came 1 1/2 months too early (not that I'm complaining).

No more Plato, Aristotle and Descartes!

Omg. Finally done with the crap!
Like I said previously, the damned assignment will be left till the last minute :\
Not that I care anymore, because I'm free at least till 12 May, if you'd exclude the job that's currently feeding me and my eye-popping expenses.

So from now till 12 May, I have 3 weeks of "work-only" time, and just about a ton of things to do (in random order):
  • Collect my Germany jerseys, whee~~!!
  • Settle some "debts"
  • Meet up with my mutts before she flies
  • Think of what to do when the Baos come back
  • Get ready for the two-one day - invite the people, hunt for the food, prepare to apply for more off-days :S
  • Prepare for the next module? (Though I seriously doubt so)
  • Plan, plan, plan and save, save, Save for the Okla trip
Bleh, such tedious work. I'm just going to faint to take the easy way out.
