Bob Torrey's 80th Birthday!

On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, we celebrated Bob Torrey's 80th Birthday!  His daughter's planned a party at the church for Bob.  It was so fun!

The daughters did such a good job on decorating.  It was awesome!

We enjoyed having a dessert and visiting with all those there to celebrate Bob!

Retirement Gifts...I was spoiled!

I received so many amazing gifts for my retirement.  I received flowers from Rich and Huying Hill.  I have never had flowers last for almost two weeks.  Here are a few of the gifts I received:

My Retirement from Weber State University after 23 1/2 years...

June 21, 2023, is a day I will never forget!  It was my retirement reception from Weber State University.  It was held at the Stewart Stadium Skysuites, 4th Floor.   Waldo was even there!  He helped set up chairs and tables!  LOL  What a fun surprise!

I am so grateful for the wonderful friends and co-workers I have.  I am grateful for a wonderful boss.  It has been a blessing to work at a university I love so much with such amazing friends!

Earlier in the day Cherrie Nelson stopped by.  She was watching her grandsons and didn't think she should bring them to the reception.  She and LaMont gave me a cool hat.

We had such a great time.  I felt like a sweaty mess.  I counted 120 in pictures.  Everyone said there were many more.  Not everyone signed the book and got a picture taken.  I was so happy and exhausted.

The next day, Clayton had his retirement reception.  I got pictures with those who weren't able to make it over to the reception.

I love my WSU Family.  I can't imagine not being there anymore.  I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with such amazing individuals and friends.
