opps!
its been quite sm time since my last post?
anywayz CNY was ok..
as usual..
except this yr i entertained myself by bringin my younger cousins n nephews down to e playground..
haha..
attempted to take pics of them but i can't get them to stand still
n wat's diff this yr is that i had a china relative staying at my gong's
supposedly his my "cousin" but then well...
anywayz we were supposed to entertain him
like include him in our activities..
fyi, he's 40+ this yr, has 2 kids back in china n is a farmer
he's like from a tv show
"da lu ren"
seriously we dunno how to entertain him
n so he jus sat there in e midst of 40+ ppl in my ah gong's house..
trying his best to not look bored
man...

despite having a sensitive throat i think i ate
-121 pineapple tarts
-LOTS of bak kwa
-half a tin of egg rolls
-almost e whole container of that chilli tapoica thingy
-46 prawn rolls thingy
-lots of coke, green tea n watever drinks tat are available

oh ya! go catch e movie [just follow law]
its good!! though i dun like fann wong, but i have to admit her acting is superb!
n be prepared to laugh VERY loudly

n e hols r gone lidat
which means i have to mug
waking up to study is a struggle
even it means like 10am?
wake up call anyone?
i think i got e sleepy disease/bug/virus
n it comes with me droolin on my notes
how unglam!

went to visit my grandpa yest..
he's 92 this yr..
n now he can't tok..
i mean i can see that he wants to talk
but e words just can't seem to come out..
he spends his days mostly in e wheelchair
taken care by my aunt n uncle

on e way home, i saw this aunty holding on to this old man
e aunty signalled for me to come over
she said that she saw e old man squatting by e pavement
he's sweating like mad.
seems that he has no strength to walk..
his legs r positioned in a way that one is front n e other back.
as in u freeze while walking
his back leg seems to be shivering non-stop
he just stays at e blk nearby
bout 200m
i felt quite helpless standing there with e unknown aunty
its obvious that both of us can't carry him or wat
n he can't walk
e feeling of so near yet so far
luckily this young man walked passed n he helped to carry e old man to e bench nearby
while e aunty went up to his place to inform his family
his daughter-in-law came down
seems that e uncle goes down everyday to buy bread
(he bought 3 loaves by the way)
even though he's old n weak
but stills insist on coming down to buy bread

it just makes me feel kinda sad
i mean its gd when u r old n healthy
but if u need to depend on ppl..
its a diff story altogether

great its almost 3am...
n i'm still so confused over econs..
argh!

Singapore won..
means the thais are gonna hate us more
n e thai rate's realli bad
haha

there's till like one n half week to Vday
two weeks to to CNY
i guess e older u grow
festive seasons r nt that exciting anymore..
except for e lots of goodies to eat part
n ang pow.. (duh)
went chinatown with dar on sat
its pretty much e same old thing
Red deco everywhere
lots of ppl selling thai coconuts
that mochi thingy
la-chang

sch's ending soon..
BUT exams r approaching
like less than a month
i should get my ass off e couch
n to e library
to mug.
