My Dearest Dad!! =)

my sec sch band had some problem wif the printing on their t-shirts..

2 of the instruments' words were mis-spelt..

and my dad became the saviour!! =)

since my exams were over, i decided to go over to my dad's factory to help him out..

i like to see my dad at work..

cos his seriousness, creativity n patience nv fails to amaze me!!

my dad is getting on in his age, n his health isnt too gd..

but yet his perserverence in his work is so evident.

seeing my dad thrive thru all his ordeals, makes me ever so proud of him..

May God Bless my dad wif GREAT GREAT Health n Happiness!! =)

alrites!! i need a loudhailer to announce!!

"My exams are OVER"!!! =)

during my exams period, i reali had a TOUGH time.

slept only 4 hours per day b4 each paper..

shut down my laptop n handphone, lock myself rite in e middle of my room..

surrounded only by lecture notes n books.. i continued to study non-stop..

when i went into the exam room wif such confidence..

when i tackled those exam questions wif such certainty..

when i hand in my exam paper wif a smile on my face..

there's only 1 thought on my mind..

"i was right to switch from science to studying business instead".. =)

anyway, the 1st person i met to celebrate my "after-exams" joy is Carven..

my dearest fren since sec sch.. i'm so happy to meet up wif her!!

we had dinner at Seafood Harvest @ Bugis.

then we went to Toastbox to hv some drinks..

n Ven sent me home on her car..

sitting at the front seat is so cool la..

haha.. tks a million Ven!! =P

but along e way, she had to pick up her mum, so she alighted me at Novena n i took a bus home..

i returned home wif such a happy n light feeling..

cleared away all my exam notes..

n then had a most-deprived good sleep tat marked e end of my 1st sem in uni and the start of my mere 2 weeks of little break from sch.. =)

Lonely Hertzie and his only companion, the fish food..
His Final Moments.. He saw his "light" from above..
Rest in Peace.. "Sleep tight", my Dearest Hertzie..

nearly 3 yrs ago, 1 of my poly classmate gave tis fighting fish to me..

tis fishy got injured in a "fish-battle" n it suffered blows on its tail n gills..

seeing its pityful form, i decided to name him "Hurts" aka Hertzie! =)

3 days ago when i realised Hertzie stopped eating his food n had no energy to swim upwards, i know his time is near..

so i changed his tank water n gave him a last"bath"..

n i stayed wif him for hours till his last final moment..

he went into a deep deep deep sleep peacefully..

"Rest in Peace" i said softly..

then i folded a paper boat, added some water into it, n placed Hertzie in..

a tear streaked down my cheeks as i "sent him off" wif a heavy heart..

fighting fish are lonely fishes, cos they hv to live in isolatation due to their natural instincts to battle n fight each other..

their loneliness is wat attracted me to them.. so similar to my autism n withdrawness..

i know it sounds crazy..

but it seems like i can connect well wif Hertzie..

i talk to him when i'm feeling down.

n he accompanied me for a longer time than normal..

cos the fish-shop uncle told me e usual lifespan for a home-rear fighting fish is maximum 2 yrs.

but Hertzie was wif me for 3 looooong yrs..

"he is gone, but i'm thankful i'd such a GREAT accompany wif me for 3 yrs".. =)

today marks a significant day for my guy-buddies..

its FINALLY their BMT-POP today!!

the few suffering months in Tekong all results to tis day's achievement!!

i'm EXTRA-excited today!! =)

nt only bcos of their "graduation" but also bcos i get the rare chance of seeing wat a real army discipline is all abt..
those who know me will probably hear me saying tat i wanna join army to experience wat army life is all abt..

the discipline n fitness tat u get outta army is so awesome!

i can't experience it, but at least by seeing the POP can quench my thrist ba.. =P

wells.. i met ly and ling at Pasir Ris Interchange and we managed to get into Tekong via their shuttle bus and ferry services.

i found Dan's parents and we 3 sat beside them while patiently waiting for the parade to start..

and then the moment came!!

the commands executed.. the band playing wif such gusto..

the guys marched in wif such pride on their faces..

Raven Company.. is followed by Orion Company..

whoo hoo!! =)

then came e moment when we were allowed to go into e parade square to take pics wif e guys..

i'm like running here n there.. searching for the guys..

our last celebrity of the day is Aloy.. who is coincidentally in the same company as Chris..

we took the ferry n bus back to Pasir Ris wif Aloy and his mum..

then Dan's dad was there to pick us up for dinner..

so me, ly and ling had a fufilling dinner wif dan and his family b4 heading home..

the very nx day.. we all met up tog again for dinner at NYDC, Bugis..

our 4 POP guys, 4 of us jie-mei, plus wilson who wil b goin in soon..

i reali treasure e time now when we stil can meet up over dinner in such a big grp..

slowly we wil b busy wif army, studies, career, bf, gf.. lesser time to meet up so easily ald..

so ya.. my dearest poly brothers and sisters..

we will nt meet s much s we do now, but stil i wan u guys to know tat i reali treasure u all very much.. loves.. =)

wells.. its nearly 2 months since i started my university studies..
n wat had i learnt so far??
its "Self-Discipline, Hardworking, Sacrifice & Tolerance"..

bcos its a fast-tracked degree..
they dun even give u a break in between..
aft lectures, is tutorials..
aft presentations, is report writing..
aft tests, is projects..
aft the entire course, is EXAMS!!

bcos its a TOTALLY DIFFERENT discipline from wat i'd been studying b4..
i struggled even more.
others take 1 glance to understand, i need to read 3 times to comprehend.
others take 1 hour to memorise, i took 3 hours to remember.
others take 1 time to answer question, i fumbled 3 times to get it right.
HOWEVER, WHEN
others take 1 smile to congratulate themselves, i spent 3 hours rejoycing over my victory.

studying ALONE in an institution..
paying so MUCH MORE in a private university..
being LONELY whenever doin projects..
struggling wif STRESS when learning totally unfamiliar subjects..

this is the path i chosen..
the route tat i know i wanna take..
n i'm gonna live it up to my own expectations..
i need to excel to not let myself down..

i wil walk tis path wif Faith..
i will face all trials wif Courage..

there we go!! our long anticipated show!! =)

sissy wif the happy look on her face!! =)

all THANKS to me, the great sister.. =P

last yr for my sis bday, i suprised her wif High School Musical 2 cds..

n i stil remember her shocked-expression when i gave her e unexpected present!! =P

n so tis yr, for her early bday present..

i decided to get her something tat she wil love too..

tickets to the High School Musical Ice Tour!!

see wat a great sister i am rite?? treat my sissy so well.. =P

the whole show was reali nice..

they captured a part of every scene in both Part 1 and 2 of the show..

all those wonderful songs tat they sing while skating gracefully on the ice is so entertaining..

i'm singing n clapping along wif all my favourite songs too.. so HIGH!! =)

HSM songs r very very very addictive n beautifully written..

e songs jus blend in so well wif all scenes of the show..

i reali love all the songs!!

wells.. me n sissy reali enjoyed e show very much!!

HSM is sth tat we both shared tog..

n i'm glad tis Ice Tour came at e rite time for me to give my sis an early bday present..

this is FATE.. <3

10 years ago.. we laid our first sight on each other..

for e 3 yrs tat we spent tog.. we were e Best of Friends..

but tats when we last heard of each other...

since then, we've both been looking out for each other..

hoping tat we might chance upon each other someday..

and yes.. tat 'someday' grew from 1 month.. to 1 yr.. to 8 LOOOONG yrs..

then suddenly on tis very special day, our paths crossed..

NO, tis is not only a mere coincidence..

tis is a real MIRACLE!!

bcos we both know there's a reason for us to meet only now..

from the awkward 'Hello', to the friendly msn..

from the rare phone call, to the NUMEROUS sms..

these r all tat connected us tog..

but yet our feelings stil stand strong..

thanks for taking e much appreciated initiatives..

if nt i wld nv hv experienced wat sweet happiness is..

thanks for jus doting on me..

it feels great to b cared for..

too much had happened in those yrs tat passed..

i reali dunno wat e future holds..

or wat wil become of us.

the differences is e barrier tat we hv to overcome..

but all tat i wanna do now is to treasure e times we hv tog rite now..

today, my god-bro n sis wanna bring me n sissy out to take the DHL Hotair Balloon..
we rushed all e way there.. n was so happy to see tat we were stil in time to but the tickets for e ride..
and so, we waited there on the land patiently for our turn..
we waited n waited.. n we even got so excited to be able to fly up high in the air !!!
but then aft a much anticipated 45 mins, they announced tat the flight is gonna b cancelled..
due to the bad windy weather.. it too dangerous for us to take the ride..
n so.. we gotta say Bye Bye to the DHL Balloon.. n we hope tat our returned trip back will b a fruitful one..

i also got very fasinated wif my bro's army hat..

i've alw been very interested in military-life like e army or police..

my fav part of the NDP is the marching in parade where all e pple in military uniforms wil march out.. oh man.. so cool sia!!

tats y when i saw bro's army hat, i kept asking sissy to take lotsa pics of me in them..

thou i cant be in those uniform.. but at least can wear the hat also "shuang" la.. haha.. lol.. =P
