It has been quite a long time since i last blogged. Now, i'm trying to cram everything into one pathetic blog post. Sorry.
Last Sunday was c9 outing. Turnout was acceptable for the first time since dunno how long. Started with only 3 guys, Jeremy Guo Wei and i. We were walking around Raffles City. Then the rest joined and left one by one. First to join us is Melissa, then Kuo Hsiung, then Yong Siang, then Lydia, before Yong Siang left us before our dinner at Thai Express. Then Jun Jie came from his family outing before Guo Wei had to leave to book in. After Guo Wei left was arcade at Suntec. Had lots of fun and catching up. Haha. Being on leave rulz. Haha. No need to care about booking in. Haha. But the sad thing is that i will still have to book in tonight for guard duty tml.
Xmas was another fun filled day. I started Christmas Eve with last minute shopping for Christmas gifts. Then went home to wrap everything. Anyhow wrap. Somehow it turned out to be fine la. Haha. Then after that met Angez before going to Lin house for celebration. The gift exchange was damn fun. Especially how Angez tricked Nix into believing that she lost her present before we gave her the 1:16 R/C Ferrari Car. Lol. And how we drank lots of alcohol till morning till we seh seh. Okay la. ME. LOL. Before sleeping a bit and waking up with hangover. Then, cooking a very special lunch of rice vermicelli with spaghetti sauce. Damn special la. Cuz that was wad we are left with to cook. Haha. Night time was roast turkey dinner at home before going for some lame bedtime story movie. Funny. But super lame. Lol.
Thanks Lin for organising the Christmas gathering at her house. Made quite a mess out of it liao. Haha. Thanks to all who came and made things so fun for all of us. Thanks for all the presents too. (All food. Really will grow fat lor) Was really very fun. Thanks all!

Haiz. Bloody hell. I need to brush up my arrow/bullet avoiding skills liao. Today kenna hit by arrow/bullet when i'm at Changi Beach. Supposed to be a happy family day at the beach, in the end kenna arrowed guard duty on the 28th of December. Fucked up. Anyway, luckily the happy family day is still a happy family day, just ended up with another Sunday guard duty lor.
Booking in for my orderly duty later. Before that i will need go collect my hospitalised handphone, if not i won't have a phone to use in camp. It has already recovered according to the Nokia Care consultant. So thats good. Going to collect it later.

Civilian Conversion Course
Long time never blog. Lol. Now, i'm on leave. All they way till 28th dec, the end of the month. Right smack in between all the leave days is an orderly duty on the 19th. So still need to book in for the duty lor. 19th is Friday, but there should be nobody in camp. Cuz its batallion specialist cohesion day. Everybody's on leave or off i think. Slack day la. Just have to be in camp.
Civilian Conversion Course.Start date: 121208 (Fri)
End date: 060209 (Fri)
Duration: 8 weeks
Conducting Officer: CPL Calvin Wong (myself)
Safety Officer: CPL Calvin Wong (also myself)
Supervising Officer: CPL Calvin Wong (myself again)
Course objectiveTo prepare outgoing soldiers for life after ORD, to become a normal civilian, and carry on to lead a normal civilian lifestyle.
Training Programme
- Clear leave
- Clear off
- Finish up with remaining regimental duties
- Finish up any extra duties (if applicable)
- Signing of ORD clearance form
- ORD medical FFI
- Learn how to speak like a normal civilian (less vulgarities)
- Teaching the incoming new soldiers as trainers for BMC (Boatman Course)
- Training programme is expected to vary from time to time (as usual the army style)
So, Civilian Conversion Course has started since Friday. So, its time to slack off and prepare for life after ORD liao. It won't be easy, need to work, study, work study, work study. Thats my life. Either way, it'll be better than the screwed army.
Freedom at last. I can finally lead the life that i want to live. Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Hurrah!

Happy Birthday To Me!
111208 Yesterday, was the day i just turned 20years old. Wad's the big deal man. Honestly. Age is just a number. Whether how old i am, does it matter? The older one gets, the more responsibilities are thrown on his shoulders. The older one gets, the more memories he had gained, the wiser he's supposed to be. Am i any wiser than before? Do i know how to think better? Don't know. Appearance can be deceiving. Appearance is just a mask that hides the inner vulnerabilities.

Anyway, 111208 wasn't a really good day for me. Morning was some run. Afternoon was flushing engines and layout. Then suddenly before the inspection, it rained. From 3pm it rained till 6pm. So, inspection snowballed. In the end, 8pm then book out. Sucks la. But wad to do. Cannot control rain wad. After that went Miss Clarity cafe with Angez to celebrate my birthday. Damn cool place la. Food is good too. Pictures go Angez blog see. Lol. I got no camera la. Lol. Erm. I post so late the pictures should be at the bottom liao. Sorry.

Flu Sucks
Angez reminded me of something that is very true. Why do we always have to wait till we lost something before we will learn to cherish it? Why does things always have to be this way? Sorry. It really did hit me real hard. Sorry. I'm just scared. Sorry if i was very affected just now. Haiz.
Anyway time to blog. Dunno wad to blog about. Okay. Last Monday was reading book in camp. I've just finished the book today. Quite nice. Left me both happy and sad. Its just nice la. Tuesday was dinner at Sakae. Sucks la. Terrible food. My udon was quite okay but the sashimi sucked. Wednesday was surprise! Lol. Just surprise la. Ahem. Thursday was UFP. Exercise exercise. Hate it. Tekan session. Fucking CPT supervising. Friday was early bookout. Went home early. But stormed out soon after that. Lol. Saturday was bad. Suddenly woke up sick. Then thanks Angez for Panadol flu max. Temporarily relief. If didn't have the flu max, i would have been dead long before that liao. So dun say its useless okay. It was the best that i could have had at that time. Went Fox warehouse, dinner at kovan, then went for Ben and Jerry ice cream festival. Terrible event cuz too many. But quite cool la. Walked around at Plaza Singapura. Being sick just spoilt the mood and everything la. Sorry. Sunday slept throughout. Sick sick. Just sucked la. Thanks Angez for Clarinase and notebook and umbrella. Calcal get well soon. Monday will be a fun day i hope. Wad to do? Funan IT mall for cameras. Oh yeah. Book in tml also. Sucks la. 5 more actual working days la. After that will start CCC (Civilian Conversion Course) liao. Prepare for ORD. 16th to 28th is leave clearance. Provided no shit drop on me la. Guard duty or wad.
