Just Another Week
My break is over. Booking in once again later. Did nothing this weekend. Two days just passed like that. Going back to being the NTM platoon starting this week.Dunno why my platoon so suay. We are the ones who ended the NTM, and we are also the ones who start it again. All the NTM stores are in a bad condition liao, having used it for the ops. The ops is technically not over yet, but the NTM is starting again. Dunno wad the big shit wants this time round. Perparing the stores again is a real huge amount of work to do. Crap.
To day is my Platoon Commanders's birthday. We are going to surprise him today. So have to book in real early today. Hope everything turns out well. Yea. Going off now. Happy Birthday to my PC 2LT Edwin Khoo.

Long Break Is Over...
Yea. Its sad to say that but it is over. Preparing to book in liao. At least this is the first time booking in as CPL. Spent this weekend sewing my new rank and all. Must remove the old rank then can sew on the new one. Its damn difficult to remove the old one la. Must slowly pick the threads to prevent damaging the actual fabric. Somehow i did prick a few holes la. But luckily they are covered and not visible when i put the new rank on. Phew.
Booked out on Wednesday. Did nothing on Thursday. Crashed 6I gathering on Friday. Actually didn't want to go one. Not that i dunno the people, but because i'm not part of the old 6I. In the end they pestered and dragged me to go. So well. Caught up lots with Xian Long. So long never see him liao. Talked about the past and everything. Maybe same kindergarten, the days we play Tamiya together and lots more. Dined at MOF. The food sucked seriously. Xian Long even said that the food next door look much cheaper and better. Some claypot steamboat or wad la. Cannot really remember. LOL. After dinner went play lan. So long never play CS liao la. Quite bad la. Only Iceworld map i can do quite okay. Considering the way Roy, Melvin and me used to rule the whole map last time. Last time is last time la. Glorious old days. But too bad its last time. Haha. Now i play real gun. Bang Bang Bang my M16 rifle. Lol.
After that Friday, Satudrday and Sunday did nothing. Fix my rank and things like dat. Laze at home. Yea. Surf net about my PSP Monster Hunter game. Now playing Monster Hunter Portable 2G. Its mostly in Japanese. Must wait for the full english patch to come out lor. Now only half. Spent some time converting the save file from to EUR version to the JAP one. Its just like hacking the file la. Lol. But its simple stuff.
Booking in liao. This week never get to drive cuz dad went out liao. Must take bus. Sian. Tentatively booking out on Friday. Break from Ops for me. Yay.

Promotion from LCP to CPL
Yesterday i was promoted from Lance Corporal to a Corporal. Yay. One step closer to Corporal First Class. Quite unlikely that i will get it though, cuz my company never ever had a Corporal First Class. Now i have to sew on my rank once again. A tedious but joyous occasion. Wad is more important is the slight increment in pay. Yay. Not a lot la. Few dollars. But better than not having any increment la. Being a CPL sure demands more respect liao. Even those new Sergeants also must give the lao jiao Corporals face. I still remember wad my supervisor from work said, "Two years very fast one la. Wait till u get your CPL rank u are about there liao la. Can countdown to ORD liao." Haha. Very true. Time sure pass very quickly. Weeks, months and then years pass. Then ORD loh!
Now i am going to have a break from Ops Vigilant Lion. Back to the old life for one month to clear all the tests and stuff. IPPT, SOC, ATP, Combat Shoot before going back to Ops Vigilant Lion if still needed. Dunno man. Come and think about it i kind of enjoy the Ops Vigilant Lion life. Being on ops, nobody will dare disturb us. Even those big fuck also cannot disturb us. Now back to normal life, all the shit that has piled up since damn long ago will be dug up to be thrown at us. Haiz. Prepare for the sai kang life. Thats wad the life of a man is about. We are the dung bomb target board for the big fucks.
Off one Ops to another Ops. Now i am on standby for Ops Flying Eagle. Thats the humanitarian aid one. Ops Vigilant Lion is catch Mas Selemat one. Now i am on standby to go to Myanmar if required. Come and think about it, this one will be quite fun. But not to forget the extent of devastation there. will be quite a learning experience if i am to go there la. Busy year. Lots of last minute things cropping up. Was expecting a slack year. But yea. Wad to do? Like dat life is more interesting mah. LOL.
Having a long break before i book in again on Monday night. No plans as yet. See how things go lor. Thats as usual wad. Haha. Yea. Now finally a Corporal. Can knock Recruits and Privates down liao. Hey u Recruit! Knock it down! Dun worry i very nice one. Won't anyhow knock ppl down one. Actually i dun plan to do so yet. Must wait till my trainee boatman come first. Haha.

Back To The Usual Life
Nothing much. Booking in today. Going back to my lifeless life. Hey Soldier. Guard the sea. Damn. Relax. Its not that bad after all. To the guys who are enlisting soon, have fun now. Your definition of fun will change after u enlist trust me. Its more or less the same. But not quite the same. LOL. When u go out with fellow NSF, u will talk about things that are different from before. Wad company, section or platoon, field camp, Road March, Shellscrape, Camo On, SOC, 5BX, M16 rifle wadever. Not forgetting the long countdown to ORD. Its all a cycle. I have been through that. But dun worry. Your life as a recruit will be fun if u look at it with a open mind. Remember, hate it or love it, u will still have to go through it. Why not relax, chill and enjoy it. To those who have to go in for PTP (Physical Training Phase) for those who failed or did not take IPPT, enjoy. Haha. Not that bad la. If can, do well in BMT and go to OCS or SISPEC become a commander. Perks? Earn good money. No matter wad u will have to serve two years. Would u rather earn $1000+ as an officer or just measly $500+ as a man? Answer very obvious la. In the army, everything is about rank. High rank means better life. Decide for yourself la.
Since bookout on Tuesday, i haven't really done much. Luther's surprise birthday bash on Wednesday, Movie, Over Her Dead Body, on Thursday. Crappy show la. Nothing fascinating. Do nothing all the way. Maybe thats life of a soldier. I don't drink, club or smoke. Nowadays i don't even lan. OMG. Where's my life man. Because of the OPS, Sundays dun feel like Sunday anymore. Screwed up. Anyway, yeah. Booking in today. Back to my lifeless life. Haha.
To guys enlisting soon, ESPECIALLY FATTY MAMA ZHUO GUO WEI, meet up soon. Enjoy your 6 months obese BMT. Haha. I only come out every fortnightly so plan properly okay. Saw michael's msn nick. He is 6 months away from ORD. For me, 9 more months to ORD. ORD LOH!
Oh ya. I recieved my driving license yesterday. The postman sent it right to my door. Hurrah. But please stop pestering me to get my dad's car out. I will do it when the time is right. Do it secretly and get caught, banned. Don't be stupid. Its very easy to tell if someone touched the car before. Wait okay. Patience. Now is not the right time yet la. Unless u get a car for me la. Sure, I can drive without any problem. The problem is who dares to lend his/her car to a stranger?
